"There are many things we need to discuss Ryu," The Village chief said with a serious look, and Ryu nodded as he thought,

'Wait for a second. Having this skill means he already knew about many things the first time he saw me.' And he shouted the same to the Village chief,

"You, you already knew about various stuff since you scanned me the first time right!!" at this forgetting his seriousness, the Village chief started laughing and spoke

"Hahaha, are you the one to complain, always acting like a baby!!"

"Why did you believe me after seeing Demon God's blessing??" Ryu asked, he was pleased that he was believed in, but living in this world of Pefrion for 5 years now he came to know about the Demon-human war that took place many years before and he was someone with a Demon God's blessing which shouldn't exist,

"Ryu, you never had a chance to look at your status properly since the temple incident right… take a look at it" the Village chief said with a smug smile,

Ryu seeks his own status. What appears on it made him have a fulfilling smile due to various reasons,

As he concentrated on titles, their explanation came into view. There were 2 new titles.

[Title- The one believed by Light Goddess: this title is the proof of Light Goddess Estelle's belief to the bearer, will give belief of Divine beast of Light Goddess and her Saintess, increasing positive effect of Miracle attribute on user]

[Title- Revenger: The Title bestowed upon those who aim for true revenge on those who wronged them, gives special bloodlust towards the target of revenge. The downside of this title is the maddening effect near the target but that can be dealt with concentration. The title has evolving potential. It will evolve after fulfilling revenge]

The effects of the first new title were nice, but the second one felt a bit troublesome to Ryu, he didn't want to give an easy death to Holy knight under the effect of maddening.

'But I need to get stronger before worrying about accidentally killing him,'

"Is this due to believed by Light Goddess title? Grandpa Chief," Ryu asked

"It is but more than that it is Revenger's title it gave me a feeling of empathy, as I got it too and I know this title is only given to those who suffer seriously due to someone and aimed for revenge deep from their heart… for an infant to have it I was surprised," Village chief explained while remembering the day he first saw Ryu,

He knew after he saw Lina and Snow back then that these people were not normal settlers, but looking at Ryu made me surprised, due to various reasons, but biggest being the question as to what does a toddler sought revenge after,

"Grandpa chief is your revenge not fulfilled? Your title didn't evolve?" Ryu asked with a questioning gaze.

"It is not something that can be fulfilled now…" The village chief said, looking upward towards the tree and then said, looking toward Ryu

"That aside, we got more important things to discuss" Ryu nodded and the Village chief asked with a dumbfounded look

"Why are you not leaving church school? Like there is nothing you can learn there?" Ryu began rubbing the back of his head as he answered with an idiotic smile.

"I did not want to look weird for 5 years old,"

The village chief looked at Ryu with a disappointed look for a second and spoke

"Ryu, sometimes I wonder if you are really smart or extremely dumb."

"Ehh why!! Grandpa chief, what did I do??" Ryu asked while tilting his head.

"Do you think people consider you average 5 years old in the first place," the Village chief said and, sighed he added

"Especially now when you used that tricky move to win the contest,"

Ryu fell into thoughts as he heard this 'Yes, he is right. I am far from calling myself a normal kid now. People will notice when a 5-year-old won against every adventurer in the town'. He thought a bit more and asked,

"Grandpa chief should I leave school?" Ryu asked as leaving church school will give him a lot of free time for other stuff,

"You sure should, so you can use your time practicing and leveling," the Village chief answered, and added

"It is easier to level up with higher stat boost as a child due to children's potential being loosely defined, but usually children are not able to make most of it being unable to kill monsters while having a frail body,"

"I see… no wonder I was able to talk clearly as a 2-year-old with a stat boost," Ryu spoke with a finger on his chin, but suddenly with a troubled look he added

"Grandpa chief, even if I leave church school, I can't level anymore with killing critters and small animals… we already got big strength gap,"

The village chief thought for a bit and spoke.

"You should kill low-level reptile monsters in Zerah forest for now,"

"But what about Mom? she won't agree to me being in the forest at this age?" Ryu asked

"Do not worry, I will come here along with you… I will tell Lina that I am taking you to the next town with me so you can learn about various things,"

"That would be awesome Grandpa Chief. you are the best!!" Ryu couldn't hold in the praise at the supportive Village chief,

"I want your revenge to be fulfilled, unlike mine," the Village chief said with a serious look, and Ryu answered with a scary grin that is hard to imagine on a 5-year-old with shining eyes

"Do not worry Grandpa chief, it will be fulfilled for sure; he will suffer a death that will make his soul hurt even after leaving the body"

Hearing these words coming out of 5 year old gave the village chief goosebumps because not a single part of what Ryu said seemed overstated as if he just stated the facts, it reminds him that in this little child's soul is part Demon Lord too,

"Ryu, I wanted to ask you, how much you know about this Mictian the part of your soul?" The village chief asked,

"I don't know much about him. Something related to his wife…." And Ryu explained whatever he heard and happened when he met Mictian, Village chief's face was pale for a bit because of the way Mictian was defined

"He had all marks of a strong existence," the Village chief said subconsciously. As an Assassin, he learned how to get the strength level of an unknown target just from the description and he was sure Mictian must've been very strong and opening less being,

"You must be careful Ryu; your personality is not what it used to be before fusing and how you remember it… be sure to balance your options and gains always"

"I will take care of its Village chief," Ryu said back confidently,

"You are lucky Ryu you got [power napping] skill it can only be attained before a certain age and is highly useful. Its attaining condition is also unknown,"

Ryu was embarrassed to tell the village chief that the skill is a result of him only sleeping a few hours every night since he got born in this world of Pefrion,

"I am sorry I don't know the condition either, Village chief," Ryu said with an awkward look, which make Village chief smirk as he spoke.

"Now came the last important thing Ryu. You should first see the information of [Hide and seek]"

Ryu nodded as he opened his status window and focused on [Hide and seek] skill.

Ryu came to know that this skill was surprisingly very multipurpose, and with shining eyes looked at Village chief face to speak something but as soon as he saw Village Chief's serious expression he couldn't ask it,

And Village chief pat Ryu's head as he spoke

"Ryu, this is a piece of advice being passed down from the one bestower of this skill to another. Listen carefully," and making sure he got Ryu's full attention, he spoke

"Focus on the Hiding aspect of the skill if you want a peaceful life. The more you seek, the more troublesome things you might end up finding yourself getting involved with. "

"I will focus on both seeking and hiding aspects Chief grandpa, but If I found something too troublesome while seeking, I'll step back before getting involved unless it is in the path of my Goal," Ryu replied with a smirk not much different from earlier smirk of Village chief,

They both talked a bit about their future plans, and once the carriage was back, they left for the home.

After a few days, Ryu made it obvious at school that there is nothing for him to learn there and got out of it, Aiena was a bit sad that she couldn't go to school with Ryu but she was happy that he was so smart to learn it all at 5 years old age,

The village chief began taking him to the forest in name of taking him to the next town, where Ryu kill lower-level monsters using glyphs and daggers, but being a kid his number of killing per day is very low… he learned a few more conditions fulfilling skills from Village chief, the monsters he killed, for now, are mostly small fanged lizard or rebounding snake,

He still went to the Orphanage after school timings every other day to learn swordsmanship from Geld and Kit, Village chief also taught him the basics of Assassin way to dagger an Assassin special martial art using daggers, although he is having a hard time getting used to sword techniques, he is doing well enough in dagger arts, he thought 'maybe this is due to me cooking with the knife in last life'

And this is how the next three years of Ryu's life passed without any big event happening, leaving that Kit left town in the second year without any explanation for unknown reasons,

Ryu grows up to be a 9-year-old,
