It had been 4 days already, as a punishment for lying. Mom grounded me for a whole week pretty standard punishment,

My friends in my last life always used to complain about their parents grounding them every once in a while,

I was like, what's the big deal in chilling at home…, now I understand after my first grounding in my two lives the reason being,

"Big brother, will you teach me stabbing?" Jue asked innocently, and I wanted to shout.

'Kids don't play this kind of game!!!' but I held back,

This is what came out when seeking the skill, complicated stuff aside this skill turns my weapon will turn all black and shiny with crimson lines when used on my white dagger my dagger becomes pitch black with a crimson blade increasing its height and my birthmark disappear and appear among crimson lines on the dagger,

Everything aside from the dagger's reinforcement that day seemed to be an effect of [Blessing of Demon God-SS],

I can still feel the euphoria and some of the mutated blood still flowing through my veins,

"Big brother, today Grandpa will come back!!" Jue said happily,

"Jue, did you not tell anyone about the swords?" I asked Jue. This question was on my mind for 4 days now I did not bother, to ask but isn't it obvious to everyone that I am wearing the rings I never had before,

I've seen mom stare at them. Jue looked a bit confused as if questioning himself, then bending his body a bit forward he whispered,

"It is a secret Lina aunty told me not to share… but if the big brother doesn't tell her I told you then I can tell you," Playing along with him I too whispered

"Yes, tell me?"

"Actually, I and others were told by Lina aunty to not tell you about this, that everyone knows about the weapon already because she wanted to see if you will tell her truth or hide it from her and us again because she asked to tell everything that happened from you,"

As soon as he ends that I was in a panic

'So, this was the reason few things weren't visible in mom's status,' I thought as I realized the absolute belief my mom had in me was being damaged because of me hiding a stupid thing,

I stood up and ran out of the room. On the way to my mom's room, I transformed both the rings into swords, increasing their height to the maximum as big as my whole arm.

"Ryu!?" mom said shocked

"Mom I am sorry!!" I spoke. I could feel my voice becoming hoarse. I stabbed both swords at the floor in front of me,

Mom was quiet, just staring at me.

"I am sorry mom I didn't mean to hide it, please don't stop trusting me… I will not keep any secrets from mom if that is what mom wants," I channel my mana in swords activating [Dark Reinforcement IV],

What happened shocked mom, but I was shocked more because it was not similar to what happened with dagger swords, color was still black, but my unique darkness was radiating from it, and the violet line on the sword's blade got a crimson hue to them,

That was not all. I am feeling exhausted. It was like all of my mana changed form and get consumed in the process in a snap,

"I won't lie…" were the words that come out of my mouth. Before I fall unconscious, I remember this feeling, a few years back when I used all of my mana in one go against Jack,

I woke up in my bed looking around. I saw mom was crying,

"Mom you saw it right, I got it after killing Naga," I said to the mom who was just patting me.

After thinking for a bit and wiping her tears, mom spoke,

"I am sorry Ryu… I just worry a lot, I got it from my father… I do not want to be like him"

"It is fine if mom wants, I will reveal anything there is," I said while wiping her tears,

Even if the whole world is against me, I know my mom will take my side, I still remember when she got angry with me in church when she run away leaving my father behind when she cried for my sake… if I can't keep her belief the secret is meaningless,

"No Ryu, I am not my father… I do not want to be like him, I believe in my child even though I have secrets I cannot tell you right now…"

Already knowing the secrets, she is hiding is a bit guilty feeling.

"So, you do not need to reveal everything to mom. It is just when I ask then only you shouldn't hide or lie to me. "

"I promise mom I won't hide anything or lie to mom ever again" I replied instantly and I am willing to keep this promise as long as it is with mom, I can't spend this whole life and pay her back for what she did,

"Good boy Ryu, and promise mom you won't push yourself too hard like you just did! I was scared," mom tears began falling out of her eyes,

"You are my treasure, Ryu… Vanir's do not like their treasure spoiled, you know… I won't be able to live if you recklessly did something and di…." Mom couldn't continue or finish that word; she must've gotten overwhelmed with emotions.

She even said, Kyle gramps family name,

"I am sorry, mom! I didn't know it would do that" I hugged mom trying to calm her after 5 minutes or so. I don't have any idea if mom stopped crying or not,

I couldn't see her face but I could feel it. She was calming down she spoke still hugging me,

"Ryu this weapon you got, I don't know if you know or don't know what it is… but this weapon can bring unwanted attention to you, only use it in front of people you can trust until you can bear responsibility and weight of that weapon,"

He knows his mom is right, manifest is rare, especially in SS class. There are only a few people who get SS rank manifest in a few centuries and most of the manifest of any class belongs to the user in life or death,

Meaning after the death of the user most of the manifest disappear, every bearer of SS class manifest left huge marks on the history of the world either positively or negatively. It sure has a huge weight to it,

I touched my rings, feeling the pressure they got.

'They sure are heavy' I thought as mom separated from me,

"Okay, now Ryu, what would you like to have for dinner? It is my fault you have to push yourself so I will make anything Ryu says,"

I turned on my [Hide and Seek] skill, and I haven't been more relived besides winning a fight in this world, mom's stats were back to being clear as day, her belief in me was restored,

And about what I wanted for dinner, there was no need for any thought.

"I want Fel custard and Patate frytaki!!" and mom laughed,

"Sure sure, look forward to it!!" Mom said as she began to leave the room.

At the gate, she was talking with someone

"Jue, you can go inside. Ryu is fine now" and Jue, who was just standing out of the gate, rushed inside towards me,

"Ryu big brother, the way you stabbed in-ground and kneel was so cool!! Teach me how to do it!! it was cooler than what mom told me you lied about not stabbing in the home"

'This bratt!!!' I thought as I acted falling asleep again. That night's food was tasty. Fel custard is tasty and who can not like fries in this world?
