When Tiffany and William were bound with the bonds of Morgador, Ashley still retained enough control for them to walk and look like prisoners, as the bonds of Morgador wasn't enough to negate his mental control of their bodies

The Bonds of Morgador were nowhere as powerful as the magic negating powers of the gold bonds, and such his position as an ancient vampire was enough to overpower the Bonds of Morgador

But once he and Sasha were captured with the Bonds of Morgador in their own right, the mental control over Tiffany's and William's body was cut

Ashley and Sasha started struggling with all their might, knowing that their plans were found out, if they didn't try to escape now, they were without hope

But they were not as powerful as any of the 3 demonesses, who were rendered helpless by the gold bonds

They were powerful enough to barely break the Bonds of Morgador, which was a testament to their power, but they only got captured again, the Rings of Morgador cast a second or third time

Sasha was unbelievably fast, with her elven speed on top of her vampire speed, and her elven strength on top of her vampire strength, making her difficult to deal with

Ashley wasn't as strong or fast, but used his healing power to somehow break out of the Bonds of Morgador

The Mages kept entrapping them with energy fields, the Bonds of Morgador and other enchantments, but were looking to subdue, not kill them

Finally, after the combined efforts of all 7 Mages of Talas, Ashley and Sasha were caught and displayed in a spread eagle position, their clothes all ripped by the battle that took place

The 7 Mages were breathing a sigh of relief. They reckoned that Ashley or Sasha were at least as powerful as them individually

But the Black Mage name Tafaron was frowning. He was the most powerful among the 7 Mages and didn't let down his guard yet. He looked around as he had a sense of deja vu. He could swear he has gone through this before, only that there was a snake haired demon with a snake's tail and 6 arms, that managed to overpower them with another demoness with demon wings, horns and tail.

But why did it seem like that original woman in gold chains were that demoness with wings and tail? Her gold chains were certainly not as secure as hers is now. And there was another gold chained demon, a male! Who was that?

Was it this man here now? But he couldn't identify exactly who they were, although he had suspicions. Little did he know, only the most powerful beings could remember, if briefly, the time before it was reset. Certainly none of the others noticed

With Ashley all bound up in the rings of Morgador, and his mind shut off from the 3 demonesses, they were completely blind and unable to see through his sight

The Yellow mage marched their prisoners, namely the 2 demonesses to join the 3rd one Lilith, as well as the human prisoners Melissa, Rancell and Tanya

However, Medusa tripped and fell over Tiffany and William, who were on the ground and motionless

As she fell, her gold chains fell on Tiffany's body, negating the Bonds of Morgador on her body!

Suddenly, without warning, Tiffany looked up and smiled

"At last! I regained control" she said and stood up

Without warning, she cast a spell and a pillar of dark smoke struck the Yellow Mage who screamed in terror

The Yellow mage instantly shriveled up and her eyeballs popped as she collapsed in a pile of bones

"Death Magic!" the Blue mage screamed

The remaining 6 Mages quickly got into battle positions, readying their spells

"Hahaha is this Talas? I've always wanted to visit... and take over" Tiffany laughed

Suddenly, her naked body shriveled up, becoming only skin and bones as she ripped off her skin, revealing only her skeleton underneath

She took her skin and wore it like a cloak!

Ashley, still bound looked in horror as his beautiful ex-girlfriend revealed herself to be the lich they fought in Duramar, or more precisely the Lich of Morgold

The Yellow Mage suddenly rose again and was resurrected as an undead, standing with the lich

"Foul undead! You shall pay for this" the Black Mage said as the battle became 2 vs 6

But the Yellow Mage and the lich, seem to be inexhaustible while the Mages started tiring after their battle with Ashley and Sasha

The lich suddenly used Tiffany's reflexes and her arm burst through the Purple Mage's chest, ripping out his heart

"Leecheran!" the Red Mage yelled, but it was too late as his heart turned to dust as the lich absorbed his power

As that moment, Ashley managed to free himself and used his healing power to hasten Sasha's healing, all the while watching the fight

"Sorry my friends" the White Mage said as he summoned a bright light from the sky

The Yellow Mage and the Purple Mage, who was transforming into an undead Mage screamed, crumbling to dust

But the lich, in Tiffany's body, covered herself as the light burned away the remnants of her skin she used as a cloak

Right then, seeing through Ashley's eyes, both Medusa and Selene pounced onto the lich with their powerless bodies, their gold chains suddenly negating the lich's protection

The lich screamed as the white light caused his control over Tiffany's skeleton, and William's body to smoulder from the eyes, banishing his presence from Talas

With that, Tiffany's skeleton collapsed while William didn't even participate

The white light even burned Selene's skin as she dropped to the floor in pain as she received third degree burns

The remaining Black, White, Red, Blue and Green Mages started to recapture the two demonesses when without warning, Ashley and the struck down the Red and Green Mage, using his claws to decapitate them

Sasha followed suit and her claws pierced the heart of the White Mage who was causing so much harm with his white magic

They were in no mood to negotiate with them and they were too dangerous to leave alive

"You..." the Blue Mage was stunned when Sasha attacked him

She slashed multiple times before his shields collapsed

She pierced his chest savagely while the Black Mage could do nothing but watch

He was too busy facing Ashley, who he was attacking with multiple magic missiles

Ashley could do nothing but dodge, but those missiles still hit him

However, it seems that he was recovering just as quickly as he was damaged

Suddenly, Rancell surprised the Black Mage from behind, breaking his neck with a smooth motion

Rancell, Tanya and Melissa were able to move again after the Bonds of Morgador disappeared after the mage that cast it on them died

Sasha sighed a sigh of relief, now that everything is over

Ashley rushed to Selene who was badly burned by the White Mage's light and who had no way to heal herself

With his healing, he started healing her and alleviating Medusa's pain from her ordeal

William was dispatched, now free of the Bonds of Morgador, to look for Lilith

Finally, he looked at Tiffany's skeleton on the ground smoldering after being burned

"Oh Ashley" Melissa said, seeing Tiffany's bones

But Ashley was looking intently at remnants of flesh on her skeleton

They seemed to be regenerating

Quickly, he took her torn burnt skin, with only parts of her face remaining and placed it on her body, and tried to heal her!

To his surprise, due to her zombie physiology, she wasn't considered fully gone yet

Having already healed Selene with his healing powers, he concentrated on Tiffany

He had never healed anyone from a skeleton and bits of skin before, but he presumed his body was in a similar state when he was burnt and ripped apart by the giant snake in the Dungeon of the Serpent Queen

Taking much longer than he usually did, he finally managed to heal Tiffany

Inspecting her body, she looked as good as new as Rancell brought Lilith to the platform they were on

Having reestablished his mental connection with her, he was whole and had his whole group with him, with the addition of Tanya

They were the only ones on Talas now, and the next step was to see if they could establish control of the golems

The 3 Demonesses helped with their magic, but now, they had to figure it out

Furthermore, he would have to figure out a way of freeing the demonesses without Trihader interfering
