The next morning, the Shrek Seven Tyrants gathered in front of the inn they had stayed in before. The Shu family and the Liao family were also present, but stood a ways away.
Ru Shenqi looked at her friends. "Today, we will rid Suotuo City of Spirit Empire. The Bishop in the Child Spirit Hall is only an upper level Spirit Emperor. Not even a Spirit Saint. And everyone else are Spirit Kings or lower."
Gu Xingyun's eyebrows furrowed. "There's not a single Elder or member of the Golden Generation?"
She shook her head. "They must all be at Liuying Gorge. Our Seniors are depending on us. We need to clear Suotuo City and then move on to Rising Dragon City and get the other two Shrek Devils."
The Shrek Six Tyrants nodded in agreement.
"What do we need to do?" Ming Yong asked.
"Simple, storm the Child Spirit Hall."
Excited glints flickered in each of the Shrek Seven Tyrants' eyes. They had been itching to truly fight since they left Heaven Dou City.
"Spirit Empire won't know what hit them."
Shu Jiaxiang and Liao Suyin turned and brought their families over. Ru Shenqi nodded to both of them.
"We're going to annihilate the spirit masters at the Child Spirit Hall. You can either fight with us or not. It's your choice."
"You seven? Suotuo City has its fair share of Spirit Saints and Spirit Emperors. We have fewer Spirit Douluos, but there are some. But although you're Spirit Douluos and Titled Douluo and a God, what makes you think you seven can completely rid Suotuo City of Spirit Empire?" Liao Shizheng asked.
Ru Shenqi replied calmly, "We've held our own against seven Sea Titled Douluos. And I have killed six Titled Douluos of Spirit Empire already. Spirit Empire's Platinum Generation couldn't even hold a candle to us."
"Don't you think you're a little too arrogant?" Shu Jiaxiang's father asked.
Doubters. Oh well.
"You don't have to help us if you're too scared to. But as the Head Flamen of Haishen Island, it's my duty to keep Haishen Island safe. Ridding the Continent of Spirit Empire is the only thing that can ensure the safety of Haishen Island."
Just then, a scout from the Speed Hall landed in front of Bai Shanxin. "Sect Leader has departed from Heaven Dou City. The Heaven Dou Army and Tang's Army have set out for Liuying Gorge."
"Who's all with them?" she asked.
"Emperor Xue Beng, Prince Xue Xing, The Seven Treasures Glazed Tile Clan, the Golden Iron Triangle, the Shrek Five Devils, and the School of Four Elements."
"Alright. We've got it. Thank you."
The scout nodded and left. Bai Shanxin turned towards Ru Shenqi.
"Xiao Shen, they've left."
"Then we need to hurry to Rising Dragon City. Come on, let's go show those from Spirit Empire the power of Tyrants."
Gu Xingyun, Bai Shanxin, Liao Suyin, Ming Yong, Fang Youyou, and Shu Jiaxiang nodded. They shot after Ru Shenqi, leaving the two families to helplessly follow them. When they near the Child Spirit Hall, Ru Shenqi's voice boomed.
"Spirit Empire, meet your end! Seventh spirit skill, Clear Crystal Eyes Spirit Avatar!"
As her body became crystalline, her friends also entered their spirit avatar states. She and Gu Xingyun released their Death God Domains, and ice spread out from each of them. Fang Youyou boosted them all with attributes, stamina, strength, and speed. The first line of soldiers exited the Child Spirit Hall. Ru Shenqi simply pointed at them, and her overbearing pressure caused their bodies to explode, just like the Platinum Generation. The Liao and Shu families' eyes widened in shock.
The next wave was spirit masters; this time all Spirit Kings. Just then, Ming Yong's qin began to echo. His eighth spirit ring lit up. Now, his eighth spirit skill caused his targets to slowly lose consciousness. When they all dropped, Shu Jiaxiang used her Black Tortoise torso bone to teleport near them and quickly launched her fourth and eighth spirit skills successively. After copying herself twenty times over, she and her doppelgangers blitz attacked with slashes, dealing severe damage. After that, Gu Xingyun activated his ninth spirit skill, Electric Heavenly Lion. This spirit skill created a stream of golden electricity that would incinerate anything in its path and was somewhat similar to Dai Mubai's White Tiger Intense Light Wave. By this time, many of the Spirit Kings had been killed. The last ones turned, trying to retreat back into the Child Spirit Hall. But Ru Shenqi had no plan of letting them off.
"Shanxin, finish them."
Bai Shanxin nodded and flew forward faster than the speed of light. Her Emerald Demon Skull Bone emerged, and she began to drain their spirit power. Then, her sixth spirit ring lit up. As she launched Swift Winds, a tornado formed and swept up the few remaining Spirit Kings. But compared to a powerful Agility Attack System Spirit Douluo, they were nothing. They were flung by the swirling winds into the Child Spirit Hall. To ensure their deaths, Gu Xingyun used his King Tiger left arm bone and threw his King Tiger Halberd at them. It crashed into the Child Spirit Hall near the Spirit Kings and caused them to fall to the ground. As their bodies splat, Ru Shenqi nodded, satisfied.
The Tyrants moved back to her side. Fang Youyou immediately said, "Third spirit skill, Flowering Lotus Regrowth."
After recovering seventy five percent of their spirit power, the Shrek Seven Tyrants waited. The Liao and Shu families couldn't believe it. The Shrek Seven Tyrants really were monsters! How else could they so easily defeat members of Spirit Empire?
Another group of spirit masters emerged from the Child Spirit Hall. This time, they were all Spirit Emperors.
"You dare to attack the sacred Child Spirit Hall?"
"Sacred?" Ru Shenqi scoffed as an iciness seeped into her voice. "No it isn't. Do we dare? Yes."
She knew her Penta Divine Pearl Diadem, her God powers, and her Divine Rings were off limits. But all of her eight other spirit skills and spirit bones were fair game. Unfurling her Ultimate Darkness Wings, she let her Fire Dragon Domain release.
"Ultimate Darkness Straight Line!"
After firing fire at the Spirit Emperors, her third spirit ring lit up. Third spirit skill, Clear Crystal Armor, launched.
She protected her friends saying, "Clear Crystal Domain."
The Spirit Emperors didn't stance a chance. As they slowly lost their senses, Ru Shenqi and her friends shot forward.
"Eighth spirit skill, Tarantula World!"
A swirling vortex appeared behind the Spirit Emperors, sucking them in. Quite similar to Bibi Dong's Soul Devouring Spider Emperor's sixth spirit skill, Spatial Tear, Cut of the Abyss spirit skill and Bo Saixi's Sea Burial spirit skill, this spatial vortex could trap spirit masters. And if they couldn't break out, they would die. Compared to Liao Suyin, they weren't strong enough to break out. And so, all of the Spirit Emperors died within her spatial vortex.
The Liao family gaped at her spirit skill. It really was too tyrannical!
Finally, the Bishop of the Child Spirit Hall emerged with seven Spirit Saints. He eyed the Shrek Seven Tyrants.
"Who are you?"
Gu Xingyun smirked. "We're the Shrek Seven Tyrants. And we're your end."
"You youngsters are cocky. Do you really think you can defeat us?"
Gu Xingyun's Demonic Whale skull bone emerged, and he connected their minds. Xiao Shen, now what?
The Bishop is the weakest, but he's protected by the Spirit Saints. To attack them all, we need to go all out, she replied. Let's do it this way.
After she gave them a plan, the other Tyrant agreed.
"Swift Demon Cougar skull bone skill, Swift Demon Attack! First spirit skill, Clear Crystal Scatter!"
After her ring upgrade, her confusion spirit skill was top-notch. The dizziness was more severe than what her skull bone could do now. Under her double whammy, the Bishop was temporarily debilitated.
"Break!"
The Shrek Seven Tyrants shot forward and surrounded the seven Spirit Saints. With Ru Shenqi being a Third Class God, Gu Xingyun being a Titled Douluo, and the other being Spirit Douluos, their combined spirit power was insane. So when Ru Shenqi began Clear Crystal Pack Hunt, each of their pillars surged with overwhelming amounts of spirit power. The seven Spirit Saints' eyes widened. The Liao's and Shu's were stunned.
"Is this a crowd control skill?!"
"PACK HOWL!"
The seven pillars of spirit power condensed into one huge ball. The blinding white light was overbearing. Then, the ball exploded into seven separate attacks. The Spirit Saints didn't stand a chance. They were thrown backwards in seven directions. With them greatly injured, Ru Shenqi's calm gaze turned murderous. Fang Youyou increased their stamina, spirit power, strength, speed, and attributes again.
"Thousand Heavens!"
Shu Jiaxiang and Liao Suyin hovered next to each other, launching their seventh spirit skills. Gu Xingyun and Bai Shanxin appeared at each other's sides, launching their seventh spirit skills. Ru Shenqi and Ming Yong got together, launching their seventh spirit skills. Seeing them boosting themselves greatly, the two families and the seven Spirit Saints knew something was wrong.
What is this? What are they planning?
Ru Shenqi's lilting, ethereal, captivating voice rang out, "The Godly Gong Shakes a Thousand Heavens!"
Six auras surged... and merged.
This was their plan. The same plan they had when they faced the Platinum Generation from Spirit Empire and the Seven Sacred Pillar Guardians. Take the advantage and show them the power of monsters.
A five meter tall and three meter long, shadowy, tarantula apparition formed around Shu Jiaxiang and Liao Suyin. Their voices blended to say, "Shadow Jade Tarantula!"
A three meter tall and one meter long, golden feathered, needle-tailed swift apparition formed around Gu Xingyun and Bai Shanxin. Their voices blended to say, "Golden Heavenly Swift!"
A eight meter tall, crystalline, human apparition playing a crystal qin formed around Ru Shenqi and Ming Yong. Their voices blended to say, "Clear Crystal Dragon Qin!"
Liao Shizheng breathed in disbelief, "Three spirit fusion abilities. IT'S REALLY THREE SPIRIT FUSION ABILITIES!"
Indeed, the Shrek Six Tyrants had formed three spirit fusion abilities.
"Shadow Jade Tarantula Eight Strikes!"
"Golden Heavenly Swift Sudden Rush!"
"Clear Crystal Dragon Qin Seven Point Trap!"
The Shadow Jade Tarantula shot forward at the Shadow Cheetah's speed. Its eight jade legs shot out, striking towards the seven Spirit Saints. The Golden Heavenly Swift flew forward at the Needle-Tailed Swift's speed. It let out a screech with a debilitating effect; this skill was the combination of Gu Xingyun's gravity increase skill and Bai Shanxin's debilitating screech skill. The seven Spirit Saints didn't stand a chance; they were restricted completely, too injured from Pack Hunt. As the eight legs of the Shadow Jade Tarantula came closer, dread filled their hearts.
This is a slaughter!
Just then, the crystalline figure began to play the qin. A resounding melody drifted out. Seven pillars rose up around the seven Spirit Saints. A barrier spread from one pillar to the next, trapping them inside. The only way out... was up. And up wasn't an option due to the coordination from the Golden Heavenly Swift.
"AIYA!!!!!!! THIS IS TOO MUCH!!!! HOW CAN THERE BE THREE SPIRIT FUSION ABILITIES IN THIS GROUP?!?!?!?! AND THEY'RE ALL SO TYRANNICAL!!!!" the Shu family cried in dismay.
The eight legs hit their targets. A surge of poison combined from both Liao Suyin and Shu Jiaxiang numbed the seven Spirit Saints. They sat in the lotus position in the air, beginning to meditate, trying to dispel the toxins from their bodies. But the three spirit fusion abilities weren't done giving surprises.
"A Thousand Heavens Rules All!" seven voices blended as the three spirit fusion apparitions and a spinning Lotus came together. Swirls of spirit power surrounded them. When a ten meter tall and five meter long beast appeared, everyone watching gasped in shock.
This new apparition had a crystalline overlay with a slight rainbow hue, golden wings, four legs with sharp white claws, golden lion tail and cheetah ears. Striped around its midsection were seven white lines, resembling Ming Yong's seven strings.
This strange beast was a combination of all Shrek Seven Tyrants. This was a true Seven-In-One spirit fusion ability.
"Shrek Tyrants Seven-In-One!"
A combination of their strongest spirit skills launched. Horror filled the eyes of the seven Spirit Saints.
Now, Ru Shenqi was a Third Class God, Gu Xingyun was a Titled Douluo, and the others were Spirit Douluos. Their attack had massively improved once more. There was absolutely no way for the seven Spirit Saints to defend themselves. The Bishop of the Child Spirit Hall hopelessly launched his sixth spirit skill to try and protect his companions. But it was no use. When the Shrek Tyrants Seven-In-One attack hit, all seven Spirit Saints got knocked into the Child Spirit Hall, dying almost instantly.
Ru Shenqi's murderous gaze turned on the Bishop. "Spirit Empire will never control Suotuo City ever again. Not if we Shrek Seven Tyrants have anything to say about it."
She suddenly pointed at him with her Golden Scepter. Kill.
His whole body shook until he cried out in pain. But Ru Shenqi's demeanor remained fairly tranquil, other than her gaze. She waited until his body exploded. When he was dead, she addressed her friends.
"Make sure those Spirit Saints are dead."
Shu Jiaxiang's Six Purple Light Wings external spirit bone emerged. Bai Shanxin's wings stretched. Liao Suyin's Demon Eyed Tarantula right leg bone emerged. The Triple Beauties flew towards the Child Spirit Hall and examined the Spirit Saints. Upon confirming their deaths, they returned to Ru Shenqi's side.
"Dead."
"Good."
The Liao and Shu family cautiously approached, bowing low. "We're sorry. We underestimated your power. Your coordination is commendable. Thank you for ridding Suotuo City of Spirit Empire."
Ru Shenqi nodded. "Of course. If you can, you should burn down their Child Spirit Hall. Don't let them control you again."
Liao Shizheng agreed. "We won't. Thank you, Goddess."
She waved it off. "Xiao Shen is fine. But I'm afraid we have a long journey ahead of us. We must get going. Goodbye!"
Before the two families could respond, the Shrek Seven Tyrants had already taken off. Now, they were on their way to Rising Dragon City.
