Here is a list of girls I am planning or I have included in my list of Harem for Alex.
1. Hermione Granger (From the Golden trio. Everyone knows her)
2. Daphne Greengrass (She is in Slytherin and more friendly compared to an ordinary Slytherin)
3. Gemma Farley (She is the prefect of the house of Slytherin)
4. Luna Lovegood (An odd ball, but needs no introduction)
5. Fleur Delacour (Regarded as one of the most beautiful Veela. From Beauxbatons Academy)
6. Nymphadora Tonks* (An Auror. Studied at Hogwarts and later joined the Ministry of Magic)
There will be some other HP characters and self-insert harem members too. I will update the list as we go on.

No thoughts about it yet. The story is going to be long and slow so maybe I might do it some day.
@The_Lonely_Guy I just read first chapter and it looks pretty good.. So here are some ideas on the harem members:
Pansy from slytherin and Helena Ravenclaw (ghost) and Delpnini ( Voldy's daughter) -> she is from shitty 8th book but you don't need to read its content since the story will be by then already different
If you played HP games then Chiara and Haywood twins
And if you plan to add self-inserted then I have some ideas:
monster girls! This world have big amount of creatures and thus lot of monster girls Alex can hunt.. like Veelas, Mermaids, vampires, werewolf and more.
Inteligent beasts! This world have transfiguration so you can change literally every beast into girl or monster girl -> he can get dragon pet for example
Next idea is normal muggle ( you know the drill normal girl helps bloodied man only to find out he is wizard), maybe even that nun after few years... and some wizard with condition like being obscurial, cursed like Nagini or something.

Female Harry (gender swapped, twin or elder/younger sister) would be great too but it's not that kind of story.
Greengrass & Luna are decent ideas too.
Granger is ok in the later books, she deserves better than Ron at least.
I agree with no Ginny though Farley is an odd pick.
Other potentials could be aged up Astoria or Gabrielle. Also maybe an OC that is like a female version of the Weasley twins or Marauders (prankster, but not a bully).
Isn't Astoria daughter of Daphne and Draco ? Since Daphne is in the list then Astoria won't exist.
Edit: Ah I see.. I looked up on wiki and she is her sister and the one marrying Draco heh.
Keep it at just Luna Hermione and fleur
Hermione, the eternal third-wheel of almost every Potterverse fic. Got a single-person pairing? Hermione will be thrown in anyway or it will be with Hermione. Got a harem? Hermione will almost always be in it. She's annoying, somewhat unpleasant to be around, rude, opinionated without even bothering to learn enough to even form an opinion, self-righteous, and when she thinks she's right (without having a reason to, by the way) she gets mean.
