Xu Yue was standing in the middle of the arena. She then looked at the dead body of the opposing cultivator, Xu Yue went closer to him, as if preparing to do something.

Xu Yue immediately appeared in the middle of a room. After this, she felt as if something had been stolen from her. She looked into a corner of her storage bag, looking at the seven swords that lay there and thinking of her eight opponents. Xu Yue couldn't help but grit her teeth.

Xu Yue thought of the power of the artifact spirit and decided that when she becomes stronger, she will take back what is rightfully hers.

The artifact spirit prayed for those who would be taken advantage of by Xu Yue, who seemed cute and obedient, and of the heaven-ranked sword she took from the cultivator.

"The name of the fourth trial is nothingness, to pass this trial you need to use Origin Sword art to a level I consider satisfactory while senses are being taken away from you."

"Won't those with higher cultivation have a bit of an advantage on this floor?" asked Xu Yue.

"Don't worry, the higher your cultivation, the more things you'll lose," said the artifact spirit.

When the artifact spirit said that, the sword that was taken away from her couldn't help but enter her mind.

Looking at her being in thought, the artifact spirit decided that he would let her have some time to think.

Unknown to him, he and the fire from the first trial have become the first two beings on Xu Yue's list.

"I can begin the trial," said Xu Yue.

"In this trial, you have four attempts to succeed," said the artifact spirit.

Xu Yue was transported to a room.

Looking at the empty room, Xu Yue took a deep breath and then began using the origin sword style. Xu Yue couldn't help but have a smile on her face when comparing her mastery of the technique before entering the padoga to now.

As Xu Yue kept using the origin sword style, she began feeling it, or to be more precise, she couldn't feel it. Little by little, her senses began to dull. Xu Yue continued practicing without much difficulty.

As Xu Yue was born with extremely powerful senses, she didn't have anything to compare this decrease to. What's more, in this empty room, the decrease in her senses did not hinder Xu Yue much.

Unknown to her, by the fourth day in this room, her senses had reached the level of a mortal. After five days, her senses finally began to impede her from using the Origin Sword art.

"Let's see how she manages to overcome this," said the artifact spirit. Even though he said this, he was confident that Xu Yue could last at least until the end of the 6th day.

"Intuition, huh," thought the artifact spirit as he looked at Xu Yue.

"Not the best nor the worst way to go about this," as he thought of this, he smiled and thought of the seventh day.

As her senses dulled more and more, Xu Yue had to rely more on intuition and less on them. By the end of the 5th day, Xu Yue was wondering what was next. By this point, she was relying entirely on intuition as her other senses had all disappeared.

Xu Yue wanted to curse, but as her senses had disappeared, she couldn't even do that.

"That damn artifact spirit is targeting me," thought Xu Yue as she felt her intuition dull a minuscule bit.

She then instinctively looked in a certain direction, even though she could not see. She knew that damn eye was looking at her from there.

The artifact spirit looked at Xu Yue, who had a frown on her face while she was looking at him. The artifact spirit felt a headache about what would happen when Xu Yue's cultivation increased.

As her intuition dulled, Xu Yue began to remember her memories about the sword. She began thinking about her sword path. She was suddenly entranced by this thought. Entirely ignoring the trial, Xu Yue began thinking about this. As hours began to pass, Xu Yue had an epiphany.

She did not know what she wanted to do with the sword, but she wanted to be able to do anything she wanted. As this thought entered her mind, she felt as if her sword had gained a will of its own.

She stopped relying on her intuition as she continued using the origin sword art.

"I have achieved Sword will," thought Xu Yue.

There are four realms for mastery of the sword.

Sword Will

Sword Intent

Sword Heart

Sword Dao

Cultivation is irrelevant to achieving these states, only mastery of the sword and state of mind matter.

Looking at Xu Yue, who had achieved sword will, the artifact spirit was quite shocked. It did not doubt Xu Yue's mastery of the sword, but her state of mind was a different thing all together.

As he looked at Xu Yue and examined her sword will, he couldn't help but nod at that being's divination abilities when looking at the rewards it decided to give Xu Yue.

"It was a good thing the master decided to ask it," thought the artifact spirit.

Xu Yue gained a massive boost in confidence after she comprehended a sword will. She couldn't help but wonder what would be removed on the seventh day.

As the seventh day began, Xu Yue felt her thoughts beginning to slow down.

"Good thing I comprehended a sword will," thought Xu Yue.

Even though her thoughts began to slow down, her sword intent continued without any problem.

Looking at what was supposed to be a hellishly difficult trial for someone of her age and cultivation rank be completely trivialized, the artifact spirit couldn't help but look at Yun Che.

Seeing Yun Che suffer for a bit made the artifact spirit's mood go back to normal.

The seventh day passed extremely normally once again.
