In an Unknown City somewhere on the world of Terra...

People walk endlessly without a dry path,

As the sky beats down with watery wrath,

As Rain falls deeply, upon the land, covering it in muck and sorrow,

Folk run about, rushing to their homes, to hide within the dry and warmth, waiting for tomorrow,

As today the clouds rumble and billow, thickening with their distilled wrath.

Humanity feels the need to weep for when the rain clouds arrive,

As droplets fall to the land soaking it in nourishment, for from this, nature will thrive,

From its continued fall, the parched earth becomes soaked mud,

Though the earth should best be careful, as folk will worry if it will flood,

For the soil, the sands and the clay should take only what is needed to thrive.

From the rain comes the growth of life, the spread of lush vegetation,

Causing new strife of fauna over the plentiful sources of food, to the new rivers that provide hydration,

From these rivers and the flow of water, life gets to expand, to nurture and to build upon,

for the beast alike to find ample drinking water, to sate their thirst as they must quickly move on,

Some fall in their aims to gather water, others hide within this newly formed territory, all thanks to adaptations.

Rain returns water to the land, the source of conflict and peace for the folk,

As many lands followed by the grace of the rain will end with the land, plant, and beast soaked,

With other lands, with great heat, feeling not the cool touch of the downpour, but the soft touch of drops,

From the use of water brought by the rain, these countries use the water for their crops,

As humans make use of the gift nature has given them, the animals like the frog, are oblivious to such, as it croaks the night away.~
