On the Frozen Plains on Eklipses...

The Pengu-folk, the natives of the frozen plains on the main continent, the guardians of the north, and one of the most stalwart races following the Neutral Faction,

Many amongst the other mortal races would scream and grumble about how annoying they are to speak to and deal with when they are found, or even how they don't take the world they live in seriously,

But ask yourself this, in this land that borders the wastelands and is full of the beast, threats, and environmental hazards, which would you choose to deal with, the guaranteed death or the annoying troubles but safety guaranteed?

But as it is with mortals of poor experience, some shout and complain, at how insulting it is to deal with such little animals, as they then try to brave the frost lands without their permission and guidance, only to be found days to months later, frozen to death or perished by the claws of beasts.

I have seen some underestimate them, coming to their lands of frost, seeking to make an easy profit when the blizzards are light,

Small and little they're called by those who seek to chain them unaware of how their days are ticking down to their end.

As any who have been on the end of the penguin's blades, only the word ruthless comes to mind for how they respond to capture.

The Frozen Plains is where they call their home, A frozen hell that humans dare not to travel without a guide that can brave this land,

These fields of ice, of sharpened winds, and the ferocious beasts, is the place where the pengu-folk live their lives, secluded from the world at large,

The way they observe how much time passes for short intervals is different for them, as some for example use the dimness of the clouds, to having storms used for the long intervals of the year,

They hunt constantly in the frozen fields, fervent in faith they hold for their deities and the skills and techniques they wield with dignity,

Held in high regard in their ways of their country they have told outsiders and guests alike.

They can be a candid host as they prepare food alike, as they prepare special drinks among one of which is called a "Smoothie".

They can also be a candid guest for those who grant them respect for the place they call their home and on the fields, they battle daily.

Some may find them silly, and if given in jest, the pengu-folk would happily enjoy the teasing and entertain the guest with games,

Some may hate them with zeal, and the pengu-folk would respond to the hatred with mockery, and confidence to deflect hate-filled blades.

Some may fear them due to the horrific stories left of their battles, and they should, for the pengu-folk are kind friends and ruthless foes,

Some with resources and with greed in their eyes will seek their capture, the pengu-folk will gleefully respond with ruthlessness if they think capture is so easy to cause.

That is the way of the pengu-folk, the frost defenders of the northern plains.
