Chap 11.3-Journey Pt.3: A challenger?:

{Location: Dirt road, 5 Km away from the nearest village; Time:14:13 p.m; P.O.V: 3rd Narrator}

Nature, a magnificent place. Birds of various colors, plants for all tastes, abundance of different animals makes such a place even more alive
We see a road made by intelligent beings in the middle of a forest, tall trees that seem to be touching the sky, dense vegetation, which gives the idea that there is always something waiting to pounce on anyone who passes by with their guard down.
A river with a bridge crossing it, even if it is a mediocre bridge made from the trunk of a felled tree, still makes possible the passage of travelers who come and go.
In the midst of so much beauty, we see our dear gecko, surprised and totally ignoring everything that could be hostile, and her eyes on the beauty of nature. If Mother Nature saw how Zero looks at her plants, she would surely accept her as daughter of her own, even if her appearance deceives many, her body is the result of her training, so Zero doesn't see the reason to be ashamed of something that her sweat built, on the contrary she likes her body, thanks to Chad she has the ideal body, she will never forget such an act.
As she walks along the dirt track and examines the surroundings two green colored eyes follow her, it's almost impossible to notice them, because such eyes are in the middle of the gigantic vegetation.
Zero's thoughts and instincts seem to be turned off to enjoy the scenery fully.
Now, some would ask - 'But didn't she already live near a forest? Why be so surprised?'- And yes, it's a valid question, but what is there to see in a forest where there are only trees that don't even let sunlight through? Well except for the castle ones, yes, she has already explored such a forest, but what did she find? Trees and more trees.
So for her, such diversity was exciting.
Finally, stopping walking, she looked down at a small red flower with yellow details.
She bends down, and a figure passes over her where she was standing before.
Its blooming green eyes focus on Zero who looks back in confusion, as what look like to be a bear, well the difference being that the thing is at least five meters, and has a muscular body with some scars here and there, a true predator, as it goes to give a roar, he is interrupted.*CRASH!*.
His body is sent flying backwards, and launching him into a set of trees, he breaks them on impact, with several branches and trunks falling on top of the confused animal.
And Zero?
The second Zero looked at the animal, she was confused, until she realized that its paw was in a position as if it had tried to cut her.
As soon as she realized this, she used {Increase Variations: Instant} and appeared at the bear's side with her arm stretched back, and with her whole body launched a straight punch to its stomach.
The bear, still confused, tries to get out from under all the pieces of wood on top of itself.
*Shuffle* The bear finally manages to get out from under the wreckage, looking over to where the spot the 'human' in front of him hit him.
His face shows anger somehow, his black fur on its stomach area's now burned a large mark of a fist.
Again, as he looks at the culprit, his eyes go wide.
''Stupid animal, was kinda cute...''- Zero mutters to herself in Drakonik, while mid-air in front of the bear.
The bear sees everything in slow motion, now full of fear, what did he mess with?
While still in the air she gives a spin and a dropkick with her left leg to it's head, a huge *BOOM* rages as an echo in all directions like the shot of a .50's magnum was fired.
The bear is sunk to the ground, its fur and skin burning rapidly in the top of his head, but the impact had already knocked it out of commission.
*CRACK* A sound is made in the animal's skull, and that was the signal for Zero, spinning to her right and using mana on her right leg, and proceeding with a spinning hook kick while in mid-air.
*THUD* The bear falls emotionless on the ground, its head turned at an angle of one hundred and eighty degrees, away from where it should be.
Zero falls to the ground without making much noise on her tiptoes.
She pities the animal, after reading that they don't think too much, and act more on the 'survival of the fittest' part of life.
And seeing that such a being would apparently have already battled other people and won, if its scars are something to go, she don't see why should she let it go.
It could be other animal's? But... just the what if it was other people? Now long dead, she chooses to end the problem simply.
After some thinking, Zero looks at the bear body, now with another idea
Looking at the bear she smiles.
''Food....''

'Today's harvest was stupendous!'- I hover my hand on my forehead, wiping away the sweat.
'We managed to get all the vegetables before the heavy rains that will bring floods destroyed them! '- My smile is big! And why wouldn't it be?
*SCREAM!*- 'Hmm?'- I walk in the direction where I heard a female scream.
When I get to the entrance of the village, I see "him".
"By the love of Satan, what is..."- In front of me is someone giant, about one hundred and ninety-six centimeters tall, a long black cloak with a big hood that hides most of its features, it seems to be made from the fur of some animal? A red tail of a lizard behind it moves from side to side, but none of this compares to .... the yellow and red colored eyes looking at me? As if they were judging me for being in their presence? Or simply existing? The being even laughs at me....
Oh Satan.... help us....
