[Takuya's POV]

I was lying down while I was home alone. My mother, mrs.sumi and san had gone shopping.

So since I didn't want to start training so early, I decided to lie down and rest for a while.

Almost nothing happened these days other than I've been training and going to school.

The funniest thing that happened was that Mrs. Ren showed me and San a spear.

"Sure, you can come in" - I said as she pushed me aside and let her in, she was already carrying her backpack.

Then we went inside and went to sit in a place where we can study.

"Tell me luna-chan, why didn't you tell san or nagasumi to help you?" - I asked after sitting down, I'm good at studies but san beats me.

"Could be, but that's not what we're here for, you came to study, now move away" - I said as I pushed her, I don't know how moon can be like that sometimes.

"Luna-chan, you are a beautiful girl but I am engaged to san, of course he will pay more attention to her."  - I said while I kept trying to pull her away from her, but Luna has more strength than me and if I use a lot of force we could end up hurting both of us.

"San, what does San have that I don't? Didn't you say when we met that you could marry me? Why don't you leave San and marry me?" - Luna asked as he got too close to me.

"I can't do that, besides that I remember, I said "if you want, you can marry me too" I didn't say that I would marry only you" - I said as I remembered what I had said, I'm still happy that my father-in-law didn't find out.

But hey, since she wants to play like this, let's play.

"But, if Luna-chan is so interested in me, she might as well marry you, but you'd have to put up with san from her since I won't let her." - I said as i placed my right hand on her cheek and gave my best charming voice and look that I could.

"What" - Luna said surprised by the actions I'm doing.

"Yes. Luna-chan, do you think I haven't noticed, how you look at me and act when you're with me?... I can still say that you're not completely in love with me, but it won't be long before you are"

"But unfortunately, I can't be with you unless you and san both agree to be in a relationship with me." - I said, I had approached her ear to tell her half whispering.

"What do you say? Don't you want to?" - i asked while Luna was surprised that she discovered her.

"OF-OF COURSE NOT BASTARD!!, I WOULDN'T FALL IN LOVE WITH A HUMAN, MUCH LESS I WOULD BE IN A RELATIONSHIP LIKE THIS!!" - Luna yelled after reacting to what I said while she got up quickly.

"Is that true? You can try to lie to yourself, but tell me why you're nervous and defensive? You've thought about it right? Being in a relationship with me... wouldn't you like that?" - I asked as i had picked me up and brought me closer to luna, making the same move as before as I got closer to her face.

"I-I…" - Luna was nervous and expectant, but she still hasn't moved away.

'Wait, what the hell, why isn't she moving away from me again and why does she look like she wants me to kiss her too?' - I thought a little scared to see that Luna is not moving away, rather she is looking at me with a blush on her cheeks and bringing her face a little closer to me.

'No, no, this has to stop' - I thought and when I was going to walk away since my revenge had gone too far, I noticed something on the right side of the room and Luna seems to have noticed too.

We both turned to see what it was and... it was maki looking at what we were doing.

"MAKI! WHAT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE MAKI?!" - Luna shouted scared to see maki looking at us.

"Forget what I'm doing and go on, kiss and keep kissing" - maki said with a look that said she didn't care.

"I'm going to report to san-sama" - maki said as she wrote down in a notebook and made me almost have a heart attack.

I could see how Luna had a quizzical look, but I didn't care.

"Also that Luna-sama has problems in her studies" - maki said while she also wrote it down.

"DON'T TELL HER!" - Luna shouted when she heard what maki was going to say to san.

"Idiocy is terrible, and even more idiotic is the sea worm when saying those things" - Maki said while we were in front of her.

"My throat is dry..." - maki said as she hinted and looked at me.

"I'm going to prepare something to drink" - I said while i sighed and got up.

'What stupid thing did I do? How come I'm like this sometimes?' - I asked myself, normally I don't do that. Well I do, but I don't go as far as to almost kiss her.

After preparing everything, return to the room.

"Could we forget what I said?" - I knew it wouldn't work, but i doesn't hurt to try.

"No.... Choose "Marry san" or "Marry moon" you have 10 minutes to decide FOR ONE" - maki said without caring.

"..." - I stayed silent as I sat down again Luna was next to me with her cheeks flushed.

"Both mermaids, it seems takuya-idiot, that you are destined to have a mermaid as a companion" - said maki while drinking her tea in the toy cup.

"After all, san-sama's father can't even see her daughter get married, much less after i tells him what you said, idiot." - Maki said while I wanted to die, I prefer to die before my father-in-law kills me.

"Luna-sama's edomae group would receive you and take you to their private residence and possibly you can continue living after what you said" - Maki said as she tempted me with that option, but I won't fall into temptation.

"SHUT UP" - Luna yelled at maki annoyed at what she was saying.

"IF YOU TWO STAYED TOGETHER...!" - Maki scream.

"ME? STAY TOGETHER WITH A HUMAN?" - Luna shouted while bothering me a little, what's wrong with being a human?.

"Like I said, I'm not going to leave san-chan, since the moment she saved me and we decided to get married, I decided to spend my life with her, I won't leave her." - I shook my head, possibly I wouldn't have accepted it before, but now that I'm realizing that I fell in love with san, well.

"Why…" - Luna said as she trembled and walked backwards, next to where her table was, and ended up crashing into her, causing him to fall on top of her, returning to her true form.

"(Sigh) luna-chan, I'll get you a towel" - I said as I went to grab a towel to dry off.

"Here..." - I said as i gave him a towel.

"Dry them please" - said Luna while she covered her face with a pillow.

"I'm despicable, right? I'm doing poorly in my studies and the person I've fallen in love with prefers her." - Luna said as she seemed to want to cry, even though the last part spoke in a low voice, but I still heard it.

"(Sigh) listen luna-chan, you're not despicable, you're doing poorly in your studies not because you're bad, but because you work"

"Your idol job takes up all your time, it's a miracle you can find a little time to go to school." I said as I sat down next to her.

"That's why I admire you a lot, you can find time from your demanding job to be able to go to school, even if it's just to sleep, but at least you don't have such bad grades"

"But well, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm in love with san, I think I would have fallen in love with you." - I said while sighing, if we remove Luna's bad personality, she's a good girl, but somehow I still prefer her with her bad personality, since that's what Luna, Luna does.

"But hey, this time I'll help you dry" - I said as I began to dry her.

If Nagasumi managed to make Luna interested in him enough to say if she could marry him, then it wouldn't be strange if Takuya managed to make her fall in love.

More so when takuya ends up flirting with her every time they talk.

It's hard to estimate the time of seto no hanayome, but I can say that it's been a month and a half or two months from the beginning of the plot to this part.

Luna has known Takuya for a month or so, or less, so it wouldn't be strange for her to fall in love with him.

Today there won't be another chapter, since I have to prepare myself because it won't be long before takuya makes his first trip to another world.
