Pov. Third-person.

Kamish.

This was the name Ereshkigal gave the young dragon that was born from the accidental and chaotic union of the dark power of an underworld goddess and the volatile power of a thunder god.

In terms of raw power, Kamish was born an anomaly.

The reason for this was that even when young and technically weak, he was able to kill High-Class dragons easily...

Ereshkigal's advisors had already warned about Kamish and the threat he could bring... But Ereshkigal just ignored it, as her biggest concern was how to be a 'good mother'.

Kamish was lazy and liked to sleep most of the time in the darkness of the underworld.

But one fateful day...

Ereshkigal went back to planning to explain the situation to the other 'power giver' for the birth of her beloved son.

Unfortunately, during the explanation that Ereshkigal was training alone to be able to talk to Thor, she ended up crying due to questioning if Thor would believe the unique situation.

The problem was, Kamish had woken up and heard his mother cry as she mourned Thor's name. When Kamish heard his mother's wailing sobs, he automatically went into a rage...

The seven cellars of the Underworld were once again shattered as Kamish quickly exited the Kur, trampling anything living or nonliving in front of him.

Kamish ended up blasting one of the entrances to the underworld, obliterating a mountain with his power that seemed to crush anything. The humans in the vicinity mistook the action for a volcano erupting but were soon startled when the dust cloud cast the shadow of a gigantic dragon.

As the days passed, Kamish's fury had turned into a storm never seen before by humans, which began to last for several days and ravage the land as he searched for the being I had made his mother cry...

At this point, Thor was on the edge of the Assyrian territory and didn't go any further to not technically invade the Sumerian territory.

Also, thanks to the Viljestyrke, Thor didn't need to invade...

And that was exactly what Thor was doing.

Using the Viljestyrke – Archer, Thor ended up finding the colossal storm and the cause.

"Let's see... I suppose a little forward is a bullseye," said Thor, narrowing his eyes as he measured the distance.

Thor then hurled Mjolnir, which took off and ripped through the skies towards the storm, and in exactly one minute, Mjolnir had already returned to Thor's hands.

It was then that Thor waited patiently, until just a few minutes later the calm, clear sky had been consumed by heavy clouds, releasing amethyst-colored lightning and torrential rain.

"...Come to daddy~," said Thor, smiling as he stared at the red eyes in the clouds.

It was then that the clouds parted, showing Thor the dragon that was looking for him...

Which had its scales shining brightly.

"Hmm?... Absorbed the physical impact... Fascinating," said Thor.

It was then that the dragon began to descend from the sky slowly until it was face to face with Thor.

It was then that Thor was surprised.

"... You... You are familiar," said the dragon.

Thor is automatically confused.

"Familiar?... Boy, this is the first time we've met," said Thor.

The dragon didn't respond right away until he remembered...

When his mother was crying, she was talking to some kind of statue, as if she was trying to practice the dialogue.

The statue was a carbon copy of the man in front of him, with the only difference being that the statue was made of stone.

This led to the dragon assuming that the being in front of him was the one he was looking for...

"... Old Man," said the dragon, narrowing his eyes.

The dragon's scales soon glowed more brightly, while a vein popped on Thor's forehead.

“...I'm not that old! I'm young by godly standards, I'm barely in my teens you spoiled brat, also—” Thor said, before stopping when he noticed the glint of scales.

"Full-Counter!!!" roared the dragon.

It was then that the violet-colored energy pulse was expelled from the dragon's scales as if it were a bubble.

When it hit Thor, the thunder god was sent backward, ripping through the ground as he crossed his forearms to block the energy pulse.

For Thor...

It was as if the very Mjolnir that had been thrown before, with the same throwing power as before, was hitting him.

When the ‘bubble’ dissipated, Thor was already approached again by Kamish who spewed an emerald-colored jet of fire.

The Norse god of thunder's instincts screamed in warning over the single-colored fire, which led to Thor dodging the stream of green flames, noting that the flame didn't seem to 'burn' the landscape, as it created lightning in his fist.

"...Since physical-based attacks don't work, what about magic-based attacks?" asked Thor.

Thor then focused lightning on his fist and slashed at the air, expelling thousands of pillars made of lightning from the fist that sliced through the air at lightning speed and hit Kamish's body from all directions.

The dragon, on the other hand, didn't seem bothered by the lightning striking him. In fact, the more lightning that hit the scales, the brighter they got.

Thor noticing this didn't seem bothered... He was even more fascinated.

“...Divine power is absorbed too? Well... Now, what if two attacks of a different nature happen at the same time?” asked Thor.

Thor, still conjuring thousands of pillars made of lightning with his free hand, hurled Mjolnir again with his other hand in order to see the effects on the dragon's scales.

When Mjolnir collided with Kamish, who was still being shot by lightning, a cloud of dust was raised, as well as creating violent winds that dissipated the storm in the skies.

Thor then stopped the attack and summoned Mjolnir again, which flew back to his hand.

The thunder god was silent until he noticed the glowing red eyes...

“…Will it demonstrate another ability to me, or will it just reflect the last blow?” said Thor.

Kamish's eyes just gleamed in response.

"Revenge... Counter!" roared Kamish.

Another pulse of energy was expelled from the scales, but this time it was a pillar of energy that consumed everything around and blinded Thor, who was soon hit. For Thor, he received the accumulated damage from each lightning pillar and Mjolnir strike...

All that power in one single strike.

When the pillar of light extinguished, Kamish was still the only one standing unharmed and Thor was nowhere to be seen...

Until the dust quickly dispersed with a leap, revealing Thor with his clothes ripped and his fist raised...

A raised fist without the gauntlet absorb the power behind the blow.

"... Let's see how far your resistance goes!" shouted Thor, with a smile.

Kamish just stared at the fist while roaring at the same time.

*BOOM*

The earth cracked and the sound of thunder resounded to the farthest land of Sumerian territory, alerting other deities who were watching Kamish's movements.

Meanwhile, in the Sumerian cultural center located in the city of Babylon.

In the temple built by Marduk, with the help of Thoth...

The famous ziggurat, Etemenanki.

The core was responsible for being the bridge between the deities and the wailing requests of mortals glowed brighter until at the core of the core raw power began to take shape...

The shape was small, the size of a simple apple, and looked like a boy made of light, whose only distinguishing feature being six wings, one wing of each species of mythical and non-mythical winged animal, such as bird, dragon, bat, insects, plus a wing made of an angel's light and a fallen angel's wing as black as the night itself.

After the roar of thunder caused by the collision between Thor and Kamish occurred, another distinctive feature appeared...

A horn sprouted atop the head of the small form made of light, which looked like a child.

The core that was used to bridge the mortals' appeals to the deities was starting to have something it shouldn't and that was mainly caused by the conflict of Thoth's magical runes with Enki's...

The core was starting to have a consciousness of its own.

- Location: Territory of future Russia.

[Yamato... We're too far away from our home]

That was the voice that resounded in the mind of a young Oni, who ran through the silent forests of the Slavic gods' territory.

“Tsukuyomi-sama asked for our services and hunt down the Ame-no-Ohabari thieves! Also Taotie, Tsukuyomi-sama even promised to tell us about that devil that killed my family in exchange for our services” said Yamato, with a bloodthirsty look.

Yamato has never been closer to completing the first step in a self-imposed mission of revenge against a race.

Tsukuyomi, as one of the three main Shinto deities, could not carry out this mission at all due to the rule that he would be invading another pantheon's territory.

But since Yamato was technically just a supernatural being... The rule was flexible.

[Are we mercenaries that hunt angels now? I thought you wanted more than just hunting the demon that caused your suffering] Taotie said.

"And I want to... But I won't rest until I kill that demon" said Yamato, with a dark tone.

As Yamato was just a child at the time, she didn't see the appearance or know the name of the demon that had killed her family...

But she knew the voice and most of all...

The laugh.

[We are in the center of Slavic territory... Fortunately, due to the territorial extent, it is still unlikely that the Slavs would have noticed us, although for how long is uncertain...] Taotie said.

"... What do you suggest? Turn back and let them escape?! They just haven't teleported so far, because we're still chasing them!" said Yamato.

[I'm not suggesting anything, but if we continue at this pace, we'll get to Asgardian territory, which is where I'm sure we'll be noticed] Taotie said.

Yamato had been confused.

"We're using one of Tsukuyomi-sama's gifts to mask our presence with senjutsu, as I don't have divine power it's quite effective, so how would we get noticed?" asked Yamato.

[If I remember him correctly, young Buri was not much of a fighter, but he was an accomplished inventor and master of runes that I have never seen before in all my thousands of years, capable of creating extraordinary things... The Hliðskjálf is one of those things] said Taotie.

“...Hliðskjálf? What is it?" asked Yamato, curious.

[It's a throne, but not just a throne... No matter who sits on the throne, they will have a view of all nine realms that make up the realm of Asgard, with the exception of a few places protected by magic] Taotie said.

Yamato then broke into a cold sweat when she understood that from the moment she set foot in Asgardian territory, she would be noticed immediately by whoever sat on that throne...

“...Buri is not a fighter, right? What are the chances of us escaping it?” asked Yamato.

[I don't think Buri is still the ruler, after all, it's been millennia since I was imprisoned in that cave by Pangu and Izanagi. However, he had a son, who was quite militaristic, so I don't see the chances of us escaping as favorable] Taotie said.

Yamato was in a dilemma, if she didn't stop the chase she could enter territory she didn't know and possibly attract the attention of other deities who could be friends or foes depending on whether they are interested in her as a user of Taotie, one of the four Fiends.

However, if Yamato gives up, she would possibly lose the only clue in centuries about her family's killer, as it was unlikely that Tsukuyomi would divulge the information without anything in return, as well as possibly attracting the moon god's enmity for failing in the mission to recover the Ame-no-Ohabari.

Thinking about the possibilities, Yamato decided...

“If this Hliðskjálf is like you say, the Ame-no-Ohabari thieves will also be detected and possibly tackled by the Asgardians before us! It will be our chance to take back the Ame-no-Ohabari and escape during the confusion!” said Yamato.

[...You'd better watch out, the gods of the north shouldn't be underestimated... Especially if Ymir, Triglav, or Dagda is around] Taotie said.

Although Yamato showed that she wouldn't give up the chase even with the risks, she took her partner's advice seriously.

"...I'll be careful..." said Yamato.

- Location: Assyrian Territory.

Ereshkigal at that moment was livid.

Her beloved son had smashed through the gates of their home and gone on a rampage after the man she'd wanted to talk to for centuries to properly explain their son's existence.

“Ugh... *sniff*… Where did it go wrong? Was it me? Was it the lack of Thor's presence right at the beginning of my cute Kamish's birth?” asked Ereshkigal to herself...

While crying tears openly and questioning her effectiveness as a mother.

At that moment she was running towards Kamish's location, as she was just following the rampant chaos in the surface world. When Ereshkigal noticed several earthquakes she soon rushed towards her son, suspecting that if he was causing trouble or if he was hurt...

What Ereshkigal didn't know was that Kamish was technically the most powerful thing around since his birth, even Tiamat in her prime or the divine twins, Enki and Enlil, were unable to defeat him...

Well... Emphasis on 'technically', after all the 'sword of rupture' was still capable of wounding the dark dragon.

It was then that Ereshkigal noticed Kamish's body lying on the ground in the distance and ran towards him screaming.

"My baby! You've made me very worried, but it’s okay now, I'll—” Ereshkigal said weeping openly, before freezing in her tracks when she noticed something else.

The man she'd wanted to talk to for ages and explain the delicate situation...

Thor.

The thunder god was sitting on top of a rock while being watched closely by Kamish, the dragon listened to the stories as he lay comfortably in the center of the titanic-proportioned crater that looked like the crater of a meteorite.

"... You mean my mother is that simple?" asked Kamish.

Thor only smiled.

“Your mother is complicated, she has a bit of a lack of confidence, although she is a competent person she is unable to have confidence due to external effects of being connected with the concept of 'death' for a long time... Your aunt Hel is similar, but with different behavior,” said Thor.

Kamish, however, was delighted when he heard about Hel.

“…Do I have an aunt besides Inanna?” asked Kamish.

“Actually she is your cousin, although I treat her like my sister. Keep in mind that our family is as big as it is complicated boy…” said Thor.

Kamish looked increasingly interested.

“…May I… May I go with you and meet her?” asked Kamish.

Thor just smiled.

"...ask your mother first," said Thor pointing to Ereshkigal, who was still frozen in shock.

Ereshkigal, noticing the gazes of Kamish and Thor, blushed in response as she tried to establish a posture worthy of a queen.

"...Greetings," said Ereshkigal.

"... No need for such formality Ereshkigal, I'm an old acquaintance of yours... But I must admit you surprised me a little by not informing me about Kamish," said Thor, pointing to the dragon.

Ereshkigal was increasingly confused and notably surprised to even consider her mouth open.

"When did you guys become so close?... Also, I thought you'd want to hit your Fath - Thor!" said Ereshkigal, blushing a little at the end as she looked directly at Kamish and avoided Thor's gaze.

Kamish surprised Ereshkigal when he got a little... embarrassed.

"We had been talking for some time after I woke up from my fight when, well... I struggled against -" said Kamish, until he was interrupted by Thor.

"The brat tried," said Thor, pointing at Kamish's head.

It was then that Ereshkigal noticed the giant callus at Kamish’s head and looked at Thor in shock.

“Did you hit your son?!” asked Ereshkigal, ignoring what she had just said.

Thor just shrugged.

“He was causing a wave of needless destruction and causing mortals to suffer over a tantrum that started as a misunderstanding… I was just disciplining him,” said Thor.

Ereshkigal was livid.

“Bb-but someone could have been hurt a lot!” said Ereshkigal.

Thor softened his gaze.

"... I held back, after all, I wouldn't hurt my son...  I mean, not too much. Anyway, maybe we should go somewhere more suitable to talk?" asked Thor, gesturing around.

Ereshkigal wanted to continue the questioning right there but was soon stopped by Kamish.

"Can we go to Midgard?" asked Kamish.

Thor just shrugged, which resulted in Kamish turning to Ereshkigal.

“Can we mom?... Please!” asked Kamish anxiously.

To Ereshkigal... It was like seeing Kamish when he was just a cub asking the same question...

Yes... Ereshkigal had a hard time denying her son's request.

“… Well… Just for one day! I have work in the underworld!” said Ereshkigal.

Kamish looked pleased and even understanding, while Thor only showed a smile.

“Oh! I even have the perfect spot! I have a small house in Midgard, it's good that Kamish can meet the other family members,” Thor said with a smile, as he formed a teleportation circle.

Ereshkigal just stared at Thor while muttering just one word as she thought about her, Thor and Kamish united.

"...Family?...Fa-mi-ly...Family~" murmured Ereshkigal while placing her hands on her flushed cheeks, displaying a dreamy look along with a shy smile.

- Location: Future Finland.

Meanwhile, flying at high speed in the skies, two angels, one with four pairs of wings and the other with five pairs of wings, and therefore the leader of the god-given mission.

The five-winged angel was also carrying a kind of sword that had a blade that appeared to be made of glass.

His name was Baraqiel and at the moment he wasn't having a good day.

“Baraqiel! I thought we were collecting divine artifacts or mythical beings that the other deities left among mortals carelessly! It shouldn't have that resistance!" shouted the four-winged angel.

Baraqiel just ignored the complaints as he accelerated into the flight.

But soon the instincts of the angel consecrated as the 'lightning of god' screamed to deflect.

It was then that a giant stone flew past the angels at high speed.

"Don't you dare run away, thieves!" shouted a voice.

It was Yamato... And Baraqiel noticed that she was approaching at high speed, although she was running on the ground.

"... Let's go to the sea, if she swims in cold waters it should be enough to slow her down," said Baraqiel.

“Why don't we face her? We surpassed her in power… right?” asked the angel beside Baraqiel.

Baraqiel just looked seriously.

"Our mission is to collect, not kill... Do you want to go against our father's orders?" asked Baraqiel.

The other angel then closed his mouth, but not before asking Baraqiel for forgiveness.

And so the pair of angels soon flew faster to the icy northern sea, while Yamato began to swim and devoured concepts like the cold of the water around her.

It was then that the group of three supernatural beings spotted an island, which was part of the local archipelago.

The archipelago that would come to be known as the Ahvenanmaa Islands in modern times.

Once the angels crossed the island's airspace...

*BOOM*

An explosion was heard from the skies, which made the angels raise their heads towards the source of the sound.

Only to widen their eyes when they noticed an emerald-colored meteor heading straight towards them.

*BAM*

The meteor hit the four-winged angel and knocked him down to the ground which resulted in a shock wave and a cloud of dust forming.

Baraqiel narrowed his eyes at the event, while Yamato, who had been watching in silence, approached the island's beach.

When the dust cloud dissipated, the angel's body was lying on the ground in the center of the crater...

Being pierced by a spear in the heart.

With unfocused eyes and blood dripping from his mouth, showing Baraqiel and Yamato slash that he was dead.

In the center of the crater, there was also a young man with green hair wearing golden armor, which soon placed his foot on the angel's body and took off the spear, and began to twirl it carelessly, until he placed it on his shoulders.

"... You don't seem to be from here, so I would like to welcome you to my king's land... I’m Achilles, and I will be your host while my king is not here" said the young man, identified as Achilles, who introduced himself while displaying a mocking smile.

Baraqiel and Yamato were silent for Achilles' presentation, but soon changed positions...

Yamato assumed a fighting stance, raising the Kanabō and alternating her gaze to the sword in Baraqiel's hands and eyeing Achilles warily.

Baraqiel soon began creating holy lightning, which combines the element of lightning with the element of light, as well as raising the stolen sword in his hands.

Achilles then smiled which threatened to split his face.

"Let's dance, shall we?" Achilles asked, already assuming a fighting stance.
