“Damn it, Asa! How can she make me do this?! And fuck the sunlight! It’s too bright!”

Inside a room with a luxurious king-sized bed, sunlight seeped through the big glass wall on the side, illuminating the room. The sound of the keyboard clicking without stopping echoed from one corner.

On that side, I was sitting in front of my dearest computer to deal with something Asa had requested. The forum had gone crazy, and even those bats woke up to join the craziness.

I had scrolled here and there. My phone was turned off. Those government officials really did contact me a few times to take down the Livestream.

Out of annoyance, I yelled with my voice changer, saying it was hacked. If they couldn’t understand the meaning, then they were fools. Even middle-schoolers know what it meant when a website was hacked.

Still, many foreigners visited the forum. From the graph, they seemed to come from the United States IP and were concentrated in New York City.

“Holy shit, her plan really worked!” I shouted as I grinned.

At first, I thought her plan was a joke to increase her popularity, but no. The Livestream switched to showing the carnage of the Beasts that came down the mountain. Twenty or more Magical Girls flew into the sky and shot their various Magic to try to stop them.

They could defeat some smaller Beasts that got a similar shape to a cat and dog, but the bigger ones didn’t even flinch when their Magics hit them. They were useless. Or so I thought when a tornado suddenly crashed into the crowd of the Beasts.

The destruction it caused to the surrounding buildings was big. But it seemed like they had no choice but to use such an attack to try to stall the Beasts until reinforcement arrived. It worked.

All those Beasts crawling down the street were blown away a few meters back and stopped moving when Magic attacks bombarded them.

I noticed the one who created the tornado hovering around in front of the other Magical Girls. She wore something similar to a kimono. My hand extended into the plastic on the table, took a potato chip, and threw it into my mouth.

My job was done, and I only needed to watch.

“Hmm, so that’s Magiya Celes? Someone who kicked Asa out of the team because my friend wanted to have fun?”

At first glance, Celes’ image was like that strict teacher I hated. Alright, I could imagine her kicking Asa because she didn’t like my friend’s attitude. That arrogance too… Umu, I don’t like her.

Maybe my opinion was useless, but…

“Go kick her, Asa!”

“Your girl is doing something.”

“Just let her be.”

On the top floor of Raylight Magical Girl School, a beautiful woman and a young boy were sitting around a table and looking at a projected screen on the wall. That screen showed Asa’s Livestream that was played on the Magical Girl forum and was now shared to multiple platforms.

“She understands her assignment,” The young boy, Titan, added as he grinned widely.

“Indeed. How good it would be if there were a Livestream platform in Deepland. Unfortunately, that feature is only used by the Entertainment Industry to Livestream their actresses and idols and can’t be used by normal people. If only…”

“If only there were Livestream features, then Sod City wouldn’t be destroyed? Do you think that will be the case, Vega?”

“I’m sorry, that’s not what I meant. Just… we would be able to save more people.” Vega smiled slightly. A hint of sadness could be seen in her expression.

“Let the past stay in the past. More importantly, why do you think she acted like this?”

“About that…” Vega looked at Titan with a wry smile and pointed at the screen which was now showing Magiya Celes. “Blaze said that girl kicked Arsy out from Magiya Temple and called her useless in a roundabout manner.”

“Seriously?” Titan asked in surprise. “That girl was lucky. Arsy is still unstable, so I won’t even wonder if Kyoto was destroyed the moment that girl was kicked out. Still, thanks to that, it seems that Arsy has returned to her real personality. Doesn’t this remind you of something?”

“Well, yes.” Vega nodded. “It is just like my first meeting with her. At that time, Lithi City was attacked, and she showed up in the sky calmly and only spectated the situation. This situation is really similar to that; only… the one who caused this in the first place was Arsy.”

“Hahaha, true! I didn’t really expect that when I heard it from you. That’s why we can leave it to her, no?”

“Indeed.”

Both of them nodded to each other.

The way Arsy, or Asa, settled things was a bit too far in normal people’s opinion. But for Vega and Titan, who had seen worse things happening in Deepland, and for Asa, who knew what happened, this was the best solution that would lead to the fewest casualties.

Buildings could be built again, but people’s lives couldn’t return unless with a certain condition. But that condition was really difficult, and only a few select people could deny the death. Of course, not without a price. Everything that defied nature had consequences.

At that time, the door was knocked three times, and both people turned around. They were aware of who stood in front of the door, so Vega only said.

“You can enter, Blaze.”

“Please excuse me.”

The door was pushed open, and a red-haired girl wearing a red dress entered. At first, she stopped her movement after she closed the door when she saw Titan in his young boy appearance grinning at her.

‘Who is that?’ She thought.

Then she noticed the projected screen on the wall and frowned.

“Commander Amamiya, please forgive me for returning without saying anything, but…”

“Arsy told you to return, no?” The young boy guessed, and Blaze’s eyes widened in surprise.

“That’s… right. But how did you know about it?”

“What are you talking about, girl? I am the Giant who is always with Arsy.” He waved his hand and gestured for her to approach them. “Well, just sit over here and enjoy the show. You will be able to see something interesting.”

Blaze was a bit hesitant to take on his offer. The Giant who was always with Arsy? She remembered that fat furball. She was truly surprised that he could take on a humanoid figure. More importantly, wasn’t he too close to Commander Amamiya?

She glanced at her superior, and Vega only nodded.

“Just sit, Blaze. I will tell you about Arsy’s real plan.”

“I’ve heard of it directly from Arsy, Commander,” Blaze responded seriously. “Do you think that’s possible?”

“It is possible,” Vega confirmed with a nod. “Giants also have feelings. Humans are also not foolish enough to approach something dangerous. That’s why this threat is necessary, so the real culprit won’t get what they wanted.”

“What they want?” Blaze asked curiously then she turned to the screen as she was ignored.

It was now showing Arsy and Akari in her disguise. Strangely, a figure similar to her could also be seen standing in front of the pair, glaring at them.

“That’s a really neat illusion. I guess Arsy got a really good friend again.” Titan chuckled as he looked at the girl who was dangling her legs on the edge of Kyoto Tower happily.

“Indeed.” Vega added, then she turned to Blaze. “Returning to the topic. Do you remember the words ‘Giants who fell from Grace?’ that Arsy uttered?”

“I do.” Blaze nodded.

“Good, then this will be fast.” Vega turned serious as she looked straight at Blaze.

“Those Giants begin to move and spread their Wands. What happened in Kyoto was just a prank by that girl who stood beside Arsy, so you don’t need to worry. But, in New York City… Those balloons are real, and the ones who get the wands will forcefully turn into Evil Magical Girl.”

“That’s!?” Blaze’s eyes widened in surprise, and she now understood the real danger. More and more, she began to think that what Celes did was really stupid.

“Yes.” Titan nodded. “Though they won’t be able to influence the girls much, they will feel the need to destroy something. If all those balloons popped up, more than 50 Evil Magical Girls with full strength would be born. And at that moment…”

He raised his arms above his head and made a gesture of something popping like a balloon.

“New York City and more than 8 million people who live there will be no more than dust and rubbles.”

“Arsy did this to spread fear about those balloons so they won’t carelessly approach them. The reason she sent you here is also similar.” Vega continued as she stood up, walking toward Blaze. She stopped in front of the red-haired girl and put her hand on her shoulder.

“That girl wants you to help me. Let’s go.” She said seriously and turned into her Magical Girl form, Magiya Raylight. Her black bodysuit tightened around her body, then her white robe and white witch hat were donned on her shoulders and head.

Her free hand gripped a long golden wand with a clear white crystal on the tip.

It was her full gear when she was serious, created by a genius who had followed the troublemaker.

“It’s time for me to move personally and deal with New York City.” She continued.

Blaze looked at her superior’s serious eyes. The situation was more dangerous than she had thought if even Commander Amamiya needed to move at the same time as Arsy. Each had a role they took, and her role was to follow and help Commander Amiya.

So she answered. “Yes!”
