Celes was looking at me in disbelief. She blinked her eyes a few times.

I made a mistake. I should’ve let that ape kill Celes or at least injure her before I used my Gravity Area to crush all the Beasts on the ground.

The spectacle was really a sight to behold. All the Beasts lowered their heads to me due 20 times more gravity than normal that hit them. It was like they were prostrating to welcome the King! Or a Queen, in this case!

“So, I remember someone saying she would be able to deal with this herself, right? Do it. Show me this strength you said that is able to deal with a crisis yourself.”

While Celes was still unable to give me any reaction, I spoke to her and raised my hand.

“I will gather the Beasts in one place for you. I am kind, after all.” I grinned at her and created a Gravity Core a bit away from us. I made it small, and it appeared on the biggest street right in front of us.

Even the Beasts that got away and spread to the entire Kyoto were pulled, but they weren’t crushed. I created counter gravity that made them slow down considerably when they entered a certain area, like a gravity field.

“Woah! You’re really strong, Arsy!” Akari exclaimed as her eyes gleamed. She closed her fan and held it in her hand. For the record, her short wand was strapped behind her back like a dagger. She said it looked cool.

“Fufufu.” I puffed my chest as I watched the Beasts gather in one place once again. Then I tapped my cane in the air, creating a ripple that became a barrier to contain the Beasts inside. “I am the strongest, after all! And I am not all talk. Unlike a certain someone.” I glanced at Celes and smirked.

“I-I…” She stuttered as she tried to make an excuse, but I interjected.

“Ssh! Don’t say anything. Rather, try to defeat them all.” I opened my inventory, and a void appeared on my left.

As I had mentioned a few times before, I had a lot of items and useless Magic Items. One of them was called a floating throne, something that my important person transferred to my account as a way to save his inventory slot.

It was an accessory item that had no use in battle or anything whatsoever. But it was good for flexing, especially at a time like this. So I pulled it out of my inventory.

The flying throne was indigo in color and had a tall backrest. I sat on it and crossed my legs, resting my hands on my lap. My cape was flowing from the side, ruffling in the air due to the wind.

Akari stood beside me like my assistant. What a dutiful girl she was. She even put her hands in front of her and closed her eyes.

Then with a haughty tone, I declared.

“Show me what you made off, Magiya Celes! I will surely enjoy the show.”

Magiya Celes gritted her teeth and looked at me with a gaze full of hatred. I might have given birth to a new Evil Magical Girl by what I just did, but I didn’t really care much. This is my personal affair.

Since the start, Celes’ mentality as a Magical Girl wasn’t in the right place. She would destroy those new Magical Girls with her arrogance.

In my opinion, Magical Girls should’ve had fun. They shouldn’t be stiff and just have a lot of fun while protecting people. That way, the civilians wouldn’t get terrified even when they got attacked by Beasts. They would believe the Magical Girls would save them.

I have my own way of having fun.

If the Magical Girls were so serious and looked rigid, no one would be at ease even if they got saved. I got a new goal thanks to that, such as becoming a teacher in Raylight to teach those fools what it meant to be a Magical Girl.

W-Well… I have hidden intentions, but I won’t say anything about that! I am not thinking of u-using my Magic Items to play pranks such as destroying their clothes. Definitely not!

I let out a giggle when I thought about the possibility I could have if I became a teacher. But Magiya Celes took it differently.

“You!! Do you not care about Kyoto getting destroyed?!”

“No,” I answered instantly. “It was you who said I shouldn’t get involved. I have helped you by creating a barrier, so I will leave the rest to you.” I pointed at the barrier that surrounded us, keeping the Beasts and Celes inside.

Even if she tried to escape, she would be unable to, as my barrier would prevent anyone or anything from escaping without my permission.

“That’s why Celes. I will really enjoy seeing you struggling. Show me the confidence you had when you said I wasn’t needed. I will release my Magic now.”

As I said that, my Gravity Core disappeared in a mote of purple light, and I decreased my Gravity Area to only cover up the area around Akari and me to protect us if something happened.

“ROAAAAAARRRRR!!!”

“GRAAAAAA!”

Crackle Crackle– Shatter!

The Beasts that got released from the strong gravity roared at once. It was so loud that the glasses in the buildings shattered at once. A deafening sound came from the biggest Ape as it looked at us while picking up a car on the side of the road and raising it.

That… I should warn her, didn’t I? Celes was still looking at me and didn’t realize the Beast.

“Oh, you need to be careful. Danger is incoming.”

“Huh?!” Celes immediately turned around and saw the car flying toward her at a fast speed. “Tsk!” She clicked her tongue and raised her hand, activating her magic. “Wind Shield!”

A whirlwind appeared around her, creating a spherical barrier. That barrier was strong, indeed. But she had forgotten something. She was in the sky.

The car made contact with her barrier, and she got blown away by force behind the throw, sending her toward the nearby tall building and crashing against it. The car also crashed after her, burying her in the building.

Bam!

“Oops, that would hurt,” I commented as I winced, imagining the pain she experienced. Even with a barrier, her inside must be shaken.

Unlike me, Akari seemed to be happy seeing Celes get blown away.

“Oooh! That’s what she got from being so cocky!” She exclaimed while puffing her cheek. Really, I wanted to pinch these meat buns. I bet they were really soft.

Talking about Celes again, I saw her crawl out from the hole created in the tall building. Her dress was ripped slightly, and I noticed blood dripping from her forehead. She looked furious.

“How dare you!!!” She screamed loudly while looking at the Beast. Her hand was pointed at the biggest Beast. Green Mana was swirling around, condensed at the tip of her Mana. The next Magic would be a big one. And she unleashed it. “Great Tornado!!”

A tornado appeared from her wand and swept the Beasts that got in the way away as it rushed toward the biggest Ape. Cars and some trees were also swept away, and the destruction it caused was massive.

Even the Garmrs and smaller Apes were blown away. Only the biggest Ape, who was now furious, was still standing without a bruise. The other Beasts were either injured or died.

“Don’t underestimate me!” Celes shouted at the top of her lungs while breathing heavily. She then fell from the edge of the hole straight to the ground.

I quickly spread my Gravity Area and targeted her. With my skill, I could control gravity as I pleased. That meant I could either increase or decrease it.

Celes’ fall became slower, and she landed on the ground softly. Her breathing was still heavy, but she was unconscious. Her Mana was totally depleted with her last attack.

“Maybe I should change my perspective on her. She can still be educated.” I smirked as I looked at Celes. Then I turned to Akari. “What do you think, Umbra?”

“Un! I think we should whip her into shape! Literally!”

Literally, huh? My cute partner in crime had a rather deranged smile on her face. Was she a sadist, as I had expected? I found a comrade!

Anyway, Celes did better than I thought. That was a Magical Girl, always finding a solution even in a hard situation.

“Now then.” I stood up from my floating throne and opened my inventory once again. I put it back inside and closed the void, holding my cane tightly. “I guess it’s time for me to show off my strength.” I glanced up at the flying drone that Livestream this and grinned.

“It’s time to let the world know the might of Arsy. I am counting on you to create the illusions, Umbra.”

“Leave it to me, General!” She saluted me with a serious face.

The curtain was lifted. It was time for the real show.
