The rock flunged backwards like a magnet repel.

In the anime, during the attack on inter school jujutsu competition, Gojo just stared at the enemy and all his arms and legs were crushed and the enemy was flunged backwards.

Slowly and slowly, Alex got hold of space control. Now he could manipulate it like his arms and legs.
