"Some more..., no, this is good enough. It will be troublesome to take down afterward if I set up too many." - Garami

I've just finished the security webs for tonight's camp. The location is an empty cave a small walk from the lake. I threw some Light Spheres inside just to check.

After confirming that the cave was empty, I started to set up the classic security webs, 4 sets of them. Any more would be a bother. Also, I made a camouflage carpet to cover the entrance of the cave. Strange thing is, the webs and carpet are of way higher quality now than before.

Okay, it's not that strange when you think about it. I've got [Weaving] to help me now, unlike back in the Water-Knot, when I could barely make a cloth. I'm still at LV1 with the skill, but I should be able to make some nice garments in due time.

For provisions, I've got the corpses of the monsters I snatched on my way out of the Dungeon, but water will be a different matter. I mean, this isn't the Water-Knot anymore, but a wasteland. Can't expect any oasis either, due to said Dungeon.

Maybe I should dabble into water magic? Even [Basic Magic] would be useful in many kinds of ways. My MP is already one of my highest stats, and I've got the reduced consumption skill as well. Having access to water at any time, as well as a lighter that doesn't need fuel sounds pretty tempting. Not sure how the earth spell, which just makes plain dirt, could be of any use, but the wind spell will be useful on hot days.

Before that, let's check out that box I got. Better yet, let's check out that letter with the threat written on it.

- To Garami

I hope you did not take the Water Aether Crystal. They are not only important for the resurrection of the Velantas region but also extremely fragile. If even one pebble worth of them gets treated badly, they will break, and release enough water to flood a train station.

...Train station? B-but hey, it's me you're talking about. Surely I could have taken one piece carefully. It would have been awesome to use it as a material for my potential Dungeon.

Also, I have to inform you, but crystallized aether is not workable as a material for the creation of Dungeons.

Seriously?!

Yes, seriously.

Oh, this guy's good.

For more information about usable materials for Dungeon creation, I recommend that you read that handy notebook of yours.

Back to the current problems, first I want to apologize for the brazen Quest I forced on you. Chaos, the Ultimate God of Chaos, managed to activate the deletion-procedure for the Dungeon of the Disaster of Water while you were preoccupied with fulfilling Alvatria's selfishness.

Then, the real guy at fault is that Chaos fellow? And all that from before was just Alvatria's whim?! I'm so gonna smack her if I ever get the chance. Anyway, the God of Chaos's name is Chaos? Whoa...

The fastest way to have you evacuate the Dungeon was to force the Urgent Quest on you, while calling back Alvatria, both for stopping her from delaying you and for punishing both her and Chaos, for all the mess they have made for you.

Ouch, tough luck for them. Not that I'm that unhappy with the agreement. I got some bloodthirsty outfit for something I was planning to do anyway. Did get a real scare here and there though. And I still didn't get the promised info on the Unique Skill!! Is it in the box? Let's finish reading the letter as fast as possible.

By the time you read this letter, I will have punished them to the point of charcoal, and continue to the level of ashes.

...? Charcoal? Ashes? Maybe I shouldn't ask what he means about that. Starting to get why Alvatria was so freaked out when she got the message.

Now then, the reward of the Urgent Quest is the information about how the water stolen by the Water-Knot will be returned to the world, but that was mostly just an excuse for being able to sneak in this explanation to you.

We planned to delete the Dungeon, along with all its inhabitants, and the water. By 'deleting', I am referring to the act of transmuting all of the Dungeon into aether. The water-attribute aether would be used to create the Water Aether Crystals, which would naturally deteriorate under the course of several millenniums till all the water would be returned. This way, all the water that was stolen from the world will be returned stably, so that the whole region would not be flooded.

This is also the reason for forcing you to postpone the escape of the two remaining bosses of the Dungeon. Their water-attribute was perfect for creating the aether crystals, meaning we needed them, dead or alive, inside the Dungeon during the deletion.

This isn't that bad of an idea. There's still punishment needed for those two idiots though. Scorch them good Lux.

As an apology for the troubles, I have selected out some items that I think you will have use for in your current predicament.

In the box given to you with the letter, there are 10 Deca-Bottles. They are bottles that are capable of storing 3 liters of fluids in them, you could call them the bottle version of an Item Bag. The weight of the contents of the bottle is negated. They are filled with drinkable water so that you will not die from thirst on your travel through the Deadlands.

That's a total of 30 liters with water. Is that enough? I'm not familiar with traveling on foot, so I don't know.

I have also given you a Bottle Pocket, an attachment to Belt-type accessories. It can contain 20 different bottles of potions, or in your case, water. Again, the weight of the contains are nullified. The pocket has a Quick-Draw ability, letting the user withdraw the item they want from the pocket without any time lag.

This is also useful. My own storage doesn't have any lag after it was upgraded to the vault skill, but it takes time to search for the item that I want. One of the demerits of having a large storage space.

There is also a Magic Scroll that allows someone with the [Basic Magic] skill to learn the Cleaning spell. Cleaning is just as the name suggests, the basic [Purification Magic] spell that removes filth from the target. It is useful when traveling across long distances through uncivilized land.

Alright, it's decided. I'll take [Basic Magic]. While it didn't matter when I was a monster, since I've gained a human form, I want to stay somewhat clean from now on.

But, a magic scroll, is that something like those items in games, where you get magic or skills just by using them? Hope there are skill scrolls as well. I wanna save on the skill points for the big stuff and skill evolution.

This is all of the survival gear that was part of the reward. I have also given you a special item, that I think will fit that strange class of yours.

What do you mean 'strange class'!? Assassin is just one step away from becoming a ninja! Not sure if they exist in this world, but still!

Finally, I have added a map that shows the way to the city of Velantas, along with a walkthrough for obtaining the Unique Skill that Alvatria promised you.

YES! I was afraid I would never get it. The map is also good, the new mental map I've started on just shows the places I've visited, meaning the lake, and this cave, plus the path I took to reach the cave. Even if I stare into the horizon, the things I see won't be registered on the map. Only places I've physically been gets added to it.

And relax. The skill will not be something that forces you to travel across half the globe, nor anything that is too sketchy. Knowing that idiot-Ria, she probably planned to give you the information about a skill that would give you a mountain's worth of troubles to obtain.

Alvatria!! Get crashed and burned good! Lux, give it you're all!

The Unique Skill that I have chosen for you is one that is related to one of the skills you are most used to. It is also a skill that mankind has not seen yet, due to its difficulties in obtaining it. This does not change the fact that you have a great shot in obtaining it. I think you have the greatest shot of any beings on the planet at the moment.

I see. It lives up to the name of Unique. Now I really want it.

By the way, destroy the walkthrough when you are finished memorizing it.

What?! Why!?

The reason for this is that the information will only be known to you. You are free to spread the information about the skill, but the price of said information is worth more than that piece of Pyrollusion Gold you received.

Oh yeah. Keeping the info about your trump cards is something you do even back at Earth.

If you do not have the confidence in remembering it, you can write the information in that notebook of yours. It will not show it contains to other people, except those with your permission.

It can even do that? Talk about handy.

Now then, I wish you good luck. This message will self-destruct after reading this sentence.

Self-destruct?

*POOF!*

*Cough, cough*

Who makes their letters go up in soot!?

Alvatria did tell me that this guy was the one guy that was less of a troublemaker within the Ultimate Gods. Doesn't that mean that he's somewhat of a troublemaker himself?

...Is it gonna be okay? This world, I mean.

Nothing's gonna change by having me troubling about it, so let's check out the contain of the reward box. But first,

=====================================================================

SYSTEM MESSAGE:

Garami has obtained skills

[Basic Magic]

from the skill shop.

=====================================================================

And for just one skill point. A bargain. I wanna wash off all the soot as fast as possible, so give me that Cleaning scroll!

Kigal-Note/Dungeons/Creation and Customization: Materials

To create a Dungeon, one needs 3-to-5 materials including the Dungeon Core and other requirements.

The materials must be items of rank D or higher.

They cannot be creations of man, meaning they must be materials in an unprocessed state.

The materials must be non-energy type materials, meaning that items of solidified power cannot be used as materials.

Items with similar attributes with each other will create a stronger Dungeon when used together.

In some cases, the combination of several items can create a theme-based Dungeon.

Alvatria's comment: It is important to check the guidelines of what kind of item that's possible to use for a Dungeon, before deciding what kind of Dungeon you want to make.
