Winter year 1605

I'm now 12 years old. The past 7 years in the village has been rather uneventful. One more year to go before I can finally begin the next chapter of my life. While the peaceful life in this village where everyone treats me like their own daughter has been enjoyable, it lacks the thrill and danger I am seeking.

The past 7 years I spent on training a variety of skills. I plan on being an all-rounder, but focused more on healing and support skills development for now. I had to keep pace to not stand out too much. Masking skill levels are more harder than masking physical stats, it would be easily discovered when I activate them. A 12 year old who is already a master of combat and magic wouldn’t be ‘special’ anymore, I would be feared as a monster.

Of course, I hid the real values and displayed skill levels and stat points which wouldn’t cause anyone to scream ‘OMFG! She’s a MONSTER!!!’ .

I'm only level 5 and I already have stats to match level 11 normal person.

The world is never a fair place.

While I did hold back on improving my skills, I don’t want to risk my life for secrecy, with my current skills, even with my low stats I can match an E rank adventurer in single combat.

Any spell a mage or priest casts is a mixture of the eight attributes. For example fire ball may be a spell belonging to fire school of magic, but it has other attributes mixed in very low quantities. 100% pure fire cannot be made; at least for mortals.

That means all magic oriented classes have all schools of magic at least at level 1.

Ki on the other hand is the mana equivalent of warrior classes. While mana is a energy accumulated from outside and stored inside of us to affect the outside world, Ki is energy produced by us to manually control the changes in our own body. Martial techniques tend to feed on Ki. For example a simple slash by sword is made sharper and stronger by infusing the sword with our Ki, while skill Battle Focus is a simple skill which operates by circulating the Ki in your body at an increased rate making you faster, stronger and able to process more information in limited time.

There are many spells and skills which feed on both mana and Ki. The skill Battle Aura feeds on both mana and Ki to create a domain around with which effects those enclosed in it in the user own unique way. The Battle Aura of Edward is probably going to do fire based damage to foes while offering protection from fire to his allies.

There are also other examples of Mind magic or Slavery magic too.

The most complex of which is probably Soul magic which is… well too complex to explain but basically a mish mash of all energies and attributes.

The more one learns of Magic and skills, the more one realizes what we know isn’t even a drop in the wide ocean.

This is the reason why those wise sages always prioritized humility while taking in disciples.

The next thing which developed is my body.

My hair now reaches just above the knees now. I am a little on the shorter side of average height at my age and my body has slight curves in the right places, also slight bulge had already started appearing on my chest. I pretty confident in them, according to my predictions they will reach at least E cup.

The effect I have on others have also started changing. While there are no dangerous pedophiles who would dare to actively target me, after a few uncles ‘accidentally’ touched my chest or ‘rested’ their hands on my upper thighs while I was sitting on their laps I became more conscious of the fact that I am already turning into a young lady from little girl. Damn Pheromones.

Reina kicked Edward from our common bathing sessions 2 years back. I thought it was just simple possessiveness but now I’m pretty sure if he saw me naked he would have had troubles sleeping.

And the most troublesome change.

I’m sensitive. Super sensitive.

Any touch to my ‘forbidden-lands’ cause shivers to run down my body. I can already picture my adult self being a sex-addict.

Next is the growth of my fellow minio-…companions.

Her Eagle eyes is a rare skill, I can’t really compare it to my Evil Eyes of Clairvoyance but I believe mine to be superior skill.

Though Eagle eyes is probably more suited to combat.

And for Edward.

I’m scared if he would really just focus only on fire school of magic. I had seen many freaks like that, focusing only on one school while rejecting others. I will make have to make sure he doesn’t choose that risky path. Any misstep and he would be consumed by the element. I had already seen my share of pyromaniacs.

We returned home after daily training and bath. I let Reina piggyback me back due to being tired from training. I enjoyed the sending shivers down her body due to my hands touching her sensitive parts like neck and ears. Slight teasing now would make the task of co nsuming her later much easier.Hehehe.

Hmm? It appears we have a guest in our orphanage, a noble’s carriage was parked outside.

I hate nobles, the cockroaches are never upto anything good.
