Fate, again, could only stare, puzzled at the appearance of these ‘First Gods’ as the Witch had called them. To him, they merely seemed to be balls of light that had been borne from a dying giant, thus such a name threw him.

Though, he made sure to keep his confusion as nothing more than feelings, once again, to mask his embarrassment over his lack of knowledge, or to prevent himself from being tortured. He carefully scanned each light, hoping to understand what was so special about them, but still found nothing aside from their unique colors.

???: “Hear me…”

The sudden appearance of a low, gravelly voice surprised Fate, but he was somewhat calmer than in his interactions with the Witch, as he could hear that the words were flowing from the giant’s mouth. It was from the fact that this was merely a vision that Fate was able to take solace, but the voice had now drawn his attention back to the stage.

The four lights drew closer to the giant, bathing his enormous head in their glow…

Red: “...Father…?”

The red light spoke in a slow, yet orotund tone. The bright ‘core’ within it, fluctuated as it spoke, but returned to normal very quickly.

Blue: “...Creator? What do you wish of us…?”

A silvery, womanly voice leaked from the direction of the yellow orb. It began orbiting its ‘siblings’ and its creator, however, it was abruptly knocked away by the red orb.

Fate wondered if this red being was somehow, naturally more aggressive than the others. It had just been born, so it might have been restless, but it shouldn’t have already turned to desire the harm of its kind…

Red: “How dare you, he is our father, yet you dare to disrespect him in such a manner!”

The red orb shouted in anger at the actions of the blue orb, it had attacked the yellow orb over a matter of...personal boundaries? Fate did not know if somehow, time flowed differently for them, but he felt that the red’s jump from a slow first word to a spoken sentence, in mere moments, was unnatural, to say the least.

-Then again, I guess that I could also be considered unnatural...hell, there’s no real debate, I am abnormal in terms of growth...at least since I have a young adult’s mind and a body that pushes the boundary of what’s impossible for a newborn...with 1 HP...

The voices began to resound again, snapping him out of his thoughts…

Yellow: “I only wish to observe what is wrong with our creator! Can you not see that he is damaged?! I simply desire to know what has befallen him and how!”

Red: “You would wish to observe his struggle and merely delve the depths of his suffering, how callous can you be?!”

Fate could feel his ears stinging from the amount of shouting that the beings on stage were engaged in, with anger slowly filling his chest. However, a new voice burst into the spotlight…

Blue: “Siblings, calm yourselves! Brother, you are correct in wishing to obey our father and that we not become a nuisance through our actions!”

A triumphant chuckle came from the red orb’s direction, while a frustrated ‘hmph’ came from the yellow orb.

Blue: “However, you must know that our sister desires the same, she is merely attempting to understand how this travesty occurred and in that way, understand how to save him from his fate, which is what he desires of us!”

Both the red and yellow orb grew silent as the fast-paced and playful, yet heartfelt tone reached them, seemingly touched by what they had heard. The giant did not attempt to interrupt them, instead opting to silently observe their behaviors.

Red: “I understand...I apologize, sister. It was not my place to turn to violence over mere suspicion, however, you must admit that you…”

Yellow: “Hahhhhh...I understand your point...I should have conducted myself in a more befitting manner, and chosen my words more carefully…”

Fate felt a strange warmth inside of his chest at this oddly touching display, yet was also filled with some sense of...regret…

-If I had just tried to talk things over with them before it happened...would it have made a difference…?

Blue: “Now that you two have made up, we need to help father.”

However, one of the lights, the dim green, had not voiced any opinions and was simply floating in the air around its creator’s head without acting...

The giant seemed to have noticed this, after blue’s comment and turned his gaze to look upon it. Yet, even when it had received attention from all of its siblings, it did not react.
???: “Child, I require your aid, will you not honor your creator’s request…?”

The green light flickered for a moment, before finally responding…

Green: “There’s no life...it’s so cold...why is there no warmth…?”

A dull tone carried this question to his siblings, his father, and Fate. The giant cocked an eyebrow, as did Fate.

???: “Why…*cough*...is there a need for there to be more life? I have birthed you...to aid in my recovery...so I ask again, will you not honor your creator with your service?”
