Chapter 13: Omnia

"Mnn."

Waking up from Red's moaning, i stood up and sat down as far away as i can from Red to not disturb his sleep.

'What happened to me?'

I looked down at my body to find that there was still a hole in my chest and i even heard it beating slowly.

'Now i have a hole in my chest, what else changed?'

I tried to check my body with my spirit sense but my qi was all gone.

'Where did it go?'

I also found out that my soul power is gone which should also mean that my soul is gone.

'If my soul is gone, how am i still alive.'

"Hey miss," a childlike sound suddenly sounded behind me.

"What?" I said, turning around.

"Ahh monster!"

In my sight is a small white and gray creature curled up into ball, shivering.

"Egg?"

"Right, i am Egg, you must be the carnivore lady from before."

"You hatched."

"Because of your blood, i hatched ahead of time."

"You're not a vampire?"

"No, i just used your blood as energy."

"Can you check me using your system thing?"

"Yeah i can do that."

The little creature looked at me using his little eyes.

"Your race turned into question marks and your cultivation and other stuff are all gone."

'Doesn't that make me as useless as a normal human.'

"Wait, you have the master of space and time title, and lord of the material realm."

"What do you know about the philosopher's stone."

"The system descriptions of it, is that it's a very powerful object that can transform objects and contains the secret to understanding the truth."

"Do you know how to use it?"

"Don't know," he said, scratching his body with his mouth.

"Do you need to eat or drink? I'm going to meditate for a bit."

"No, i'm full of your blood, i was sleeping earlier but you woke me up."

"Are you sure you're not a vampire now?"

'What do i do now?'

After contemplating for an hour, i have no idea on what to do.

"Maybe i should find an expert on this and risk being kidnapped to for the philosopher's stone."

"Cough"

While i was thinking, a piece of my fingernail that i was bitting, was accidentally swallowed by me.

"What?"

Some pieces of information appeared in my brain all of a sudden, like remembering something that you've forgoten.

"Is it because i swallowed my fingernail?"

Being curious, i tried to focus my attention to the new information in my brain.

'I wonder if i eat more of my fingernails, more info like these will appear.'

Red flashed on my hand and suddenly a handful of fingernails appeared.

'Did my wish came true?'

"Wait, these fingernails looks oddly similar."

All of the fingernails on my hands looked the same with the same shape and size.

"Did i just duplicate my fingernail from earlier?"

With that thought, i grabbed a peble from the ground and put it in my mouth.

"Don't eat that!"

Red woke up, dashed towards me and smacked my back, making me spit the pebble back out.

"If you're hungry ask me, don't eat rocks!"

"I'm only trying something."

"Don't try it then, you lived for so long without eating stone."

"Don't worry i'm not going to try it again."

With my attempt at eating stones failed, i tried drinking water instead.

"The sun is bright huh."

'Somehow the sunlight feels itchy and uncomfortable on my skin.'

Taking the water from the waterfall made me want to take a bath.

"The water taste great."

'There's also bugs and birds in the sky now."

After drinking the water, a new piece of information appeared in my brain.

"Can i duplicate it?"

Focusing my attention on the new info in my head, red light flashed on my hand and a ball of water appeared that splashed on my right hand.

"Can i do this with qi and mana?"

"What if i focused on the philosopher's stone?"

Nothing happened.

'I guess i'll try eating spirit stones.'

"Ahh, i forgot that i don't have qi to open my spirit bag."

'Red can help me.'

Going back into the cave, i asked Red to open my spirit bag.

"Which spirit bag?" He said, opening my main spirit bag.

"Which one can you open."

After Red taking all of the bags out she found out that she can only open all of them except for my first spirit stone where all of my clothes, money, identification, and books.

"Can you open the one with the spirit stones?"

"Sure."

With a wave of his hand a mountain of spirit stone appeared.

'I hope this works.'

I sneakily ate a spirit stone and tried to duplicate it.

My hands felt hot and hotter as time goes on until eventualy a spirit stone appeared, and made me tired.

'Only one appeared after that, which means a spirit stone is harder to duplicate.'

"What are you doing Alex?"

"I just wanted to try something, don't stop me."

I walked to the spirit stone mountain and started eating.

"You're insane," he said, not stopping me.

I ate until some heat can felt at my heart, and somehow i can use my abillities again.

'No, i feel like i'm stronger.'

I looked inside my heart to find that a drop of bright red liquid appeared beside the philosopher's stone.

"What is this?"

"What is what, miss carnivore?"

A furry creature appeared while chewing some spirit stones.

"Check me."

"Huh, you have a new skill called transmutation and omnia generation with both of them at level 1."

"Omnia?"

"The system said it's the purest energy of everything."

'Can i get his system if i eat some of him.'

"Hey egg, can i touch you for sec?"

"Sure, but don't do anything bad."

"Hey Alex, where did you find that cute kid"

Without answering Red, i tried bitting egg but i only got some of his fur

"Ahhhh! Preety big sister, help me!!"

Egg ran to Red's feet and climbed to his shoulder.

"It's okay, the big scary monster won't eat you while big sister is around."

"Thank you big sister."

"Go away Alex."

"Fine," i said, going inside the tent.

"Now, how about we play some games, also what gender are you," he said, picking up egg and spreading his legs.

"It's embarrassing, big sister."

"Don't worry, big sister won't hurt you...hehe."

'Her face looks very menacing, i hope egg will survive,' i thought, exploring what i can do with the drop of omnia that i got.
