After the one time Fang Cheng Ran rose from the dead, no news followed. "The Whole World Belongs to My Royal Princess" was still on hiatus.

Xie Rong checked Pujiang.com before going out to get food. She did not see the update notification she had been waiting for, and was forced to leave with her meal card.

Various stalls sold food at the school gate, and when Xie Rong left the cafeteria, she bought two servings of duck neck. An auntie was selling melons and other fruit next to duck neck stall, and Xie Rong checked out their produce. "How are your cucumbers?"

The auntie sized her up and asked, "Are you buying these to eat or to use, girl?"

"To use."

The auntie's eyes changed all of a sudden. Even the young brother who was chopping duck neck nearby could not help but peer over.

Picking a cucumber, the auntie handed it to Xie Rong. "Well, for use, have this one. The thicker and longer, the better."1Auntie! :O

Dumbfounded, Xie Rong blushed red. "Auntie, oh my God! I'm just applying this on my face!"

The auntie met her eyes innocently. "That's what I meant, too."

Xie Rong: "..."

She took her duck neck and left. On the way back to the dormitory, she deliberately took the secluded lover's route common to every school and shocked countless pairs.

Behind the girls' dormitory, a young couple was holding each other and kissing passionately. The dormitory auntie was just sitting there, watching the show with relish.

Xie Rong covered her eyes as she entered and screamed, "Ah!! How indecent!"

And then she quickly ran away.

The little couple: "..."

The auntie: "..."

Xie Rong, room #503, I know that was you. Your room is definitely going to fail the inspection next Monday.

Completely unaware that she had just entered the auntie's blacklist, Xie Rong finished the duck neck, quickly changed into menswear, and was ready to leave.

Watching here, the Auntie couldn’t help but shake her head. There were already only a very few girls under this old lady's supervision, and this loss of a lady was just too tragic.

Ever since Fang Cheng Ran had kissed a "teenage boy" at the bar, everyone seemed to have agreed that he was indeed gay. However, in light of his previous misdeeds abroad Father Fang still had his doubts.

Therefore, today he had dumped two concert tickets on him and had him bring Miss Sun to a concert.

He had shed blood and tears, but his father had put his foot down and in the end, he had seemingly accepted it.

Leaving the concert tickets in the passenger seat, Fang Cheng Ran drove his Maserati out the door, but instead of going to the Sun house to pick up Miss Sun, he simply found a café to leech WiFi off of.

As he got down from the car, he glanced behind him, only to see a figure quickly shrinking itself into the corner.

Fang Cheng Ran frowned. He had had the feeling of being followed once before. It seemed like this might not have been an illusion on his part after all.

Locking the car, he walked over to that particular corner. Seeing him approach, Xie Rong looked about anxiously, not knowing where to hide. Just as she was about to retreat to the other side of the road, Fang Cheng Ran took advantage of his longer stride to corner her like a chicken.

"You again?" He looked at the petite man before him, recognizing him immediately as that one Auntie Washing Railways who sent advertisements. "Are you stalking me?"

"No, no, absolutely not! I just happened to come here to get coffee!" Xie Rong denied with all her heart. If Great God started thinking of her as a pervert, she would be done for!

Fang Cheng Ran sized her up, then let go of her collar and chuckled, "But how strange..."

"What?"

"I've never disclosed my photos. I wore a mask at that one signing, too. How did you recognize me?"

Xie Rong: "..."

What an enormous flaw in her argument.

She put a lot of thought into it, and then finally replied, "Because of love."

To cut a long story short, everything in the world that can't be explained can just be attributed to love.

Fang Cheng Ran: "..."

He hesitated a moment, then smiled, "Shall we go?"

Xie Rong eyed him helplessly. "Where?"

"Weren't you here for coffee?"

Inside the café, they sat facing each other over two cups of steaming coffee.

"Stop following me from here on out."

Fang Cheng Ran's tone is as bright as the sunlight outside the window, and a smile could even be heard in his voice, but they did not soften the warning in his words.

Xie Rong, whose hand had been reaching out to the coffee cup, was snatched back. She ducked her head and denied, "I didn't follow you."

A smile still in his voice, Fang Cheng Ran replied, "Very well, this time shall be a coincidence. Next time, though, I will hand you directly over to the police."

Xie Rong: "..."

Fang Cheng Ran took a sip of coffee. "Are you trans? "

Xie Rong was stunned a moment, then fiercely denied, "I'm not!"

"Both times I've met you, you've been dressed as a man."

Her mouth hung open in surprise. "You... noticed I was a woman?"

A smirk spread across his mouth. "If I couldn't even notice something so obvious, do you think I could have spent this many years in the rivers and lakes?"

Xie Rong felt a little lost. She had tried so hard to cater to this person's tastes, yet still failed.

But there was still a feeling of relief in her heart. "Since you've seen through it all, can I change back? This chest binder is awfully uncomfortable."

Fang Cheng Ran: "..."

In the ten minutes that followed, Xie Rong dumped her corset in the toilet trash, tore off her wig, and returned to her purest and truest self.

When she emerged, he was still sitting where she had left him. He hadn't sneaked away while she was at the bathroom, and Xie Rong breathed a sigh of relief.

"Great God, I've changed." Coat in hand, she approached a little stiffly. Hearing her footsteps, Fang Cheng Ran looked up at her. She had hair that fell to her waist and was clad in a neutral white shirt and trousers coupled with a pair of men's shallow boots. It was an interesting ensemble.

"Don't call me Great God. My name is Fang Cheng Ran."

Xie Rong's heart stumbled like a fawn. She had been given the Great God's real name!

"I, I'm called Xie Rong! I'm a student of L University!" she nervously introduced herself, as if sitting across from an interviewer from a famous company.

Fang Cheng Ran raised an eyebrow. In a pondering tone, he wondered, "And why were you dressing up as a man?"

Well, because you like men, Great God.

However, this sentence could only circle about Xie Rong’s mind. She didn't dare say it. Picking up her cooling coffee mug, she took a sip and then asked excitedly, "Great God, where does the 'Fang' in your name come from? And the 'Cheng'? And the 'Ran?"

Fang Cheng Ran watched her avoiding the question, but did not push. He took a napkin on the table, wrote his name on it, and handed it to Xie Rong.

Xie Rong held onto the paper towel like a baby, with an expression akin to wishing she could pass it on as a heirloom. "Great God, you write so beautifully!" She looked up and quickly said, "I'm 'Xie' like from 'thank you', and 'Rong' like from a banyan tree!"

Fang Cheng Ran gently smiled and met her eyes. "Don't come back to my stories to post advertisements."

A little sad, Xie Rong muttered, "But I want to write comments for you."

"Write something else."

"Okay."

He smiled down at her, "Then, goodbye."

Done, he readied to get up and leave. Suddenly, a sharp female voice rang through the cafe. "You shameless bastard!”

Without thinking, Fang Cheng Ran turned to look. A woman was holding an empty water glass in her hand. Meanwhile, the man sitting across from her had just become a drowned rat.

Though the café guests were generally alarmed, the waiter quickly approached with a dry towel for the wet man, as if such a scene was fairly common.

Across from Fang Cheng Ran, Xie Rong drummed on the table and hummed, "Break up happily~ May you be happy~"2Song by Leong Jing Ru, urging a woman to leave a sour relationship.

Fang Cheng Ran: "..."

The couple and waiter at the center of attention all swung their heads toward her. The eyes of the waiter were the most bitter of the lot. Embarrassed, Fang Cheng Ran smiled at them all, then yanked Xie Rong out from the coffee shop.

Pulling her to his car, he ordered, "Get on."

Xie Rong came back to life and hurriedly jumped on.

As soon as she did so, she saw the concert tickets lying on the passenger seat and asked excitedly, “Great God, are you going to the concert?”

Fang Cheng Ran started the car. “No."

"Why not? Then are these two tickets just going to go to waste?"

Fang Cheng Ran did not answer, so she pressed on shamelessly, "If there's no one to go with you, then I can!"

He gave her a sidelong glance, and the amusement in his eyes seemed to be magnified by the sunlight spilling in. "I'll give the tickets to you. Go listen to your friends."

Xie Rong eyed him for a while, then bowed her head and whispered, "Actually, at the bar that day... that was my first kiss."

Fang Cheng Ran: "..."

The concert began at half past four, and Fang Cheng Ran and Xie Rong arrived at the venue right on time.

Xie Rong's little heart was thumping as she entered. She was watching a concert with her Great God! This sort of thing only happens in dreams, yet it had come true!

Mommy was right, people should have male gods, just in case one day it happens!

......No, wait. Mommy had said that people should have fantasies.

While Xie Rong was still immersed in her own emotions, a cold female voice was heard from afar. "Fang Cheng Ran, who is this person?"

Sun Ying Ying had already been told by Fang Cheng Ran’s father about the concert. She waited at home that afternoon, but wasn't picked up, she came to the venue by herself. Little did she know that she would see him walking with another woman right as she came in!

Xie Rong came back to her senses and recognized the angry woman - the Great God's blind date.

Fang Cheng Ran saw Sun Ying Ying, smiled politely, and put his hand on Xie Rong’s shoulder. "This is my girlfriend."

Sun Ying Ying's face changed a few times before finally settling on angry embarrassment. "Weren't you gay?! Is she a man?"

"As it turns out, I had a temporary hormonal imbalance," Fang Cheng Ran lied calmly. "Now I like women again."

Sun Ying Ying: "..."

"You sure are amazing!" She lifted her chin, glared at him, and then stomped away on her heels.

Xie Rong looked at him, at a loss. Fang Cheng Ran took her hand and smiled calmly. "Don't worry about her. If she does something, I'll protect you."

Light flashed in Xie Rong's eyes. Her heart rushed as fast as the Yellow River.

Ooooohhhhhhhhh! Great God you're too handsome! I could just ravish you!

She held down her boiling blood and listened to the entire concert with a calm appearance and manic heart.

By the end, it was six o'clock. Though Fang Cheng Ran had originally thought to ask Xie Rong to dinner, his father summoned him back via a phone call.

He smiled apologetically at Xie Rong. "Something urgent has come up. I'm afraid I can't send you home."

Xie Rong shook her head like a baby's rattle. "That's okay, I know the way!"

Fang Cheng Ran chuckled and turned to his car. "Goodbye."

Xie Rong watched his car disappear before leaving the concert hall.

Upon arriving back at school, she first ate a large bowl of wonton from the school gate stalls before running happily back to the dorms.

Today, not only had she learnt the Great God's real name, but she had gone to a concert with him. This could go down in history! He said that he liked women now, did this mean she had a chance?

Xie Rong had a brief fantasy of married life. She covered her face and asked her roommate, who was doing her hair below, "Zhu Zhu! Have you fallen in love at first sight? You feel you'll be together when you meet, and then you really do get together!"

Zhu Zhu was silent a moment before replying, "Only the first two-thirds."

Xie Rong: "..."

She turned to place an autographed napkin to the wall by her bed.

When Fang Cheng Ran returned home, he found a sullen Father Fang in the living room.

"Dad, what's up?" He put the car keys down and sat on the sofa. When Father Fang how casual he seemed to be, he burst out furiously, "You told Sun Ying Ying you have a girlfriend?"

"Yeah."

"And? You should know today she went crying to her father, and Sun Er called the chairman's office!"

Fang Cheng Ran pursed his lips. "Dad, these are the children's emotional problems. Is it really necessary for them to overlap with the company's matters?"

"Are you actually aware of this?" Father Fang snorted. "The Sun family is preparing to invest in our overseas hotel right now, and yet here you are, making trouble for his daughter. Do you really think this won't affect our cooperation?"

Fang Cheng Ran frowned as well. "Is my marriage a sacrifice for this investment?"

That brought his father to a pause. "Alright, I won't sacrifice your marriage. But you bring your girlfriend back here for me to look at tomorrow!"

Fang Cheng Ran’s mouth twitched. Sister Fang patted him on the shoulder. "Dad's angry right now. You take a step back, I'll talk to him."

Sister Fang headed upstairs after her angry father and knocked on the door of the study. "Come in," his grumpy voice came through the door.

When she entered, her father didn't meet her eyes. "Did that brat ask you to come up and put in a good word?"

"Dad, if the Sun family doesn't invest due to this issue, then we can find someone else. Let's not ignore the forest for this one tree. As for Cheng Ran, if he really so dislikes Sun Ying Ying, then we can't force him. "

Father Fang sighed. "I understand. It's just that Fang Cheng Ran, that brat, is just too too irritating."

Sister Fang smiled. "Don't worry about him. When he finds a woman that he does actually like, he'll change naturally."

Having just quarreled with his father, Fang Cheng Ran was not in the mood to eat. He returned to his bedroom, turned on the computer, and inadvertently pulled up his novel.

There were a lot of comments, and the one on the top had just been published thirty seconds ago.
