Finally dry, I went out a few times to check but it took longer than expected. I got a lot of cheers from the girls dorm every time though. Approximately one and a half hour but it might be because it's almost dawn.

I'm still dirty so I can't wear the clothes yet, I need to go straight to the showers. I hope it has some of those small open lockers where I can put my clothes and laundry. I don't want to climb the stairs naked all the way to the third floor.

They should have some soap and shampoo for free, right? Something like the detergent that are made by student apprentice, I could at least hope for that. I hope it isn't scented, I just need something to clean myself.

Walking naked in the hallway is a very noble feeling, I have to walk through the main entrance area to get to the shower rooms too.

"Fire in the hole!!!"

RUN!!!! and safe, I might develop a six sense from living in this place.

Finally the shower room, looks like I was right when I said that they have the open lockers. There aren't any locks but since its only clothes it should be fine to leave it. I don't have anyone I know here so there shouldn't be anyone who wants to prank me by hiding my clothes. Now then, onto the actual shower space.

*BOOOOOM!!!*

Wow, this place looks like the shower space in prisons, that are shown in movies. No dividers, and shower heads with a small square indicating your own space. Like the central detergent bin in the laundry room, there is a central bin for soap bars and big beer barrel looking thing with a faucet for shampoo.

So how do I carry the shampoo to the border-less stall? I sure hope no one puts the soap back into the bin, I don't think I can take a bath in peace using it. Hmm, Maybe I can shave the outer layer and use it that way, it would be a waste though. Well, since its the work of students then its paid for by the school or government, whoever pays for the school. From tax? Does that mean when I graduate and start working the tax money I give to the government will partially go for alchemist students to make soap and stuff. I should take advantage of this so I would feel ok with paying tax, like when going to a buffet and eating so much that you double the cost of admission and when ordering drinks, drink at least 6 liters to make it worth it.

I need to forget that, my main concern should be how to carry the liquid shampoo.

"Excuse me, I need to get some shampoo. Are you done getting yours?"
"Ah, sorry I was thinking about something."
"Then, I'll go ahead."

*opens faucet* *shuts faucet*

So everyone has some kind of wooden holder for soap and a small dish attached to the top to get shampoo. Something that looks like a soap sized cigarette box with a small sauce plate at the large flat side.

"Excuse me, I'm a new student. Where do I get that?"
"Oh, so that is what you were thinking about. This is made by the crafter students and you can get it for free at the bin at the corner of the shower room near the entrance."
"Thanks"

There was a group of students at that corner so I avoided it like the plague. I thought they were just some friends who likes to have fun and get loud but they were probably new students like me going to get the soap holder, or careless seniors who got theirs destroyed.

Bath equipment acquired, I have my soap, I have a bit of shampoo now on to the bath. Unlike what I did in the laundry room, I will choose the stall near from the open lockers. I choose the corner at the laundry room since I don't want people passing behind my back, I chose the one near the lockers so I don't get splashed with other's bath water. I don't care how many of you need to pass through but when getting out of the shower I don't want some other guys bath water splash on my freshly cleaned body. In a disgusting example, it would be like washing yourself with water from someone else's foot bath. Disgusting.

With all that done, I start my bath. There really isn't much about taking a bath, I already confirmed my body type the moment I got reborn. I have a solid build with my muscles showing but if compared to the others showering around me, I'm skinny, I'm way too skinny in comparison. Since my body was created by the system with the template of a dwarf then this body of mine is the default starting body type of a dwarf.

I don't mean to look at others bathing but in a communal shower room with no walls to cover yourself, being on guard to others is the norm. As a new student, I don't know who likes to play around and who likes to bully others so I need to be on guard against others until I get a feel for others. I still have a sense of discord from this body so I can't sense what's around me, I never had any such skill though. At best I can hear of someone is walking near me but with all the water splashing all around it becomes hard to be accurate.

I have to admit the dwarf continent is leaps and bound further in technology. This town actually has piping both hot and cold, it has a working toilet, a sophisticated sewer system, and great products. From the way most of the people talked about stuff, the advancements I am using are developed by the past heroes. If that is true, why did the human continent not have things like this. The prominent thing in the human continent that heroes made are the prison work group. Other than that, most things are controlled by the merchant guild. The soap, shampoo, and other stuff that could make life more convenient are all controlled by them and priced expensively.

I smell a monopoly and corruption there, I won't do anything though. I already settled everything I need to do when I died back then. Getting stronger and having revenge on the head maid is just useless at this point. They can conspire and scheme against each other for all I care, my first run was pure bad luck.

Does that mean all the prices there are over inflated too? I always thought it was weird that everyday goods would cost at minimum a gold coin.

Ah, this shampoo smells like melon. They really did add some kind of scent on it. Does it change or would my hair smell like melon during my stay here? I should be thankful that it's not coconut or something.

The soap is fine as is, it doesn't bubble up to my liking but it seems like it still clean me just fine.

Finally done, I was facing front the whole time to be on guard but since my stall is positioned near the entrance a lot of people would pass right in front of me. They all have the same reaction, they would look at me, then sneak a peek down to look some more before passing through to the showers. It was creepy, I know it's typical men behavior to compare but sheesh its annoying.

Now I can wear my freshly washed clothes and start eating, after I bring my sheets and blanket up to my room. I should probably ask if the school has some kind of sewing class, maybe they could provide me additional sets of clothes. I don't care how generic they look as long as they are comfortable and I have something to wear. Other people wash clothes naked here but I don't want to think of something like that as normal, plus it would help curb down the rowdy bunch from the girls dorm.

"Fire in the hole!!"

And run into the janitor's closet. How many times has it been? Are they dropping it whenever someone gets near the stairs? Is that why the dwarf student living near the stairs jumped outside from his window?

*BOOOOOM*

10...9-------------1

Finally I can climb back to my room in peace. What are they doing up there to have so many bombs drop down?

My closet looks really desolate. The sheets is used on my bed and pillow right away, The blanket is folded on top of the bed since I will need that later tonight but only my towel is in the closet hanged at the door. I need to find out if I can have extra sets of clothes soon since I don't want to waste my time cleaning an empty closet for the rest of my school life. Maybe I could use it for something else?

Thinking about it isn't really going to do much since I am starting on zero so I will leave that alone and go find dinner. I hope there is free meal, and I hope it's a lot since I haven't eaten yet.
