Good news!, or so I thought ?

As some of you might know, I've been publishing this novel on Webnovel as well. And so the big day has finally came!

I was finally offered a contract from webnovel! Of course I was very excited. After all, this means my work is somehow being recognized and, of course, I finally get a chance to receive some financial support (I really wanted to create a website for the novel, to post images, character files, maps, audio files, and a lot of other interesting info ? ). So yeah. I was very happy. Until I read the conditions. ???

Long story made short. First of all, as expected, I would have to stop writing on any other websites besides webnovel. Which would mean deleting all the chapters I've uploaded here, so far. Besides that, not only I would be completely selling out all my rights to this novel and other future works related to this (I wouldn't even be able to translate it in the future, for example to my native language), they would be able to tell me to stop writing it, if they feel that the story isn't that interesting anymore. ?

Now, that I just can't, won't, refuse to do. It would mean dropping the project altogether ???. My writer's heart couldn't handle that. Also, my idea was never to force people to pay in order to read what I write. If I ever decide to do that I guess I rather publish it on Amazon or something. At least no one will tell me to stop writing ???.

Anyway, the idea is, if you like this novel and have some change to spare, would you please buy this hardworking author a coffee? ? It only costs $3. ? I wonder if this will work ... ? Anyways, this was a very hard decision ?. After all, every writer's dream is to live from their writing in a professional way. And maybe I could actually get there by signing the contract ?.
