His petrified state lasted for several tens of seconds.

He blinked his eyes, thinking that this might be a dream, which was a cliché situation.

He shook his head to get rid of his ridiculous thought, his long hair swayed gently.

This is Existence Shapeshift... though my body became that of a girl, there isn't any lewd thought at all towards this body as if it's already been my body since birth.

Still, I need a mirror. I have to check whether the Shapeshift is perfect or not. Is there even a mirror here?

William got out of the bed. The changed in his body didn't hindered his movements at all.

He searched the room he was in, but found no mirror. So, William got out from the room that had a lot of books in it.

After he went through the curtain that parted the room he was in with another room, he found something like a living room.

There was a 1,5x1,5m square stone table with four chairs on its sides, chairs which looked like it made of stone too.

On his left right after he got out of the room he used to be, there's a door. For some reason, William could feel that it's damp from the donor's direction, so he assumed that it might be a bathroom or some sort.

On his right, there were a hearth, and cooking tools placed on top of short table. The smell of foods could be smelled wafting out one of the pot amongst the cooking tools.

Might as well check the door on the left.

William headed to the door. He opened it and found that it really was some kind of bathroom.

He entered and closed the stone door. For some reason, most of the things he had seen were made of stone, and he wondered why.

Once he closed the door, William looked for a mirror. He didn't find it. There were only a black smooth stone attached on a wall, a water container shaped like a meter by a meter tub along with a bucket resting on its edge, a toilet like thing because it looked like it could be seated on and there's a hole in it. Naturally just like before, they looked to be made out of stone.

William looked at the stone bucket.

Isn't it a chore to take a bath using a stone bucket?

His curiosity won once again. William reached out his hand at the bucket, and lift it up.

It's light??? Is this really stone?

William knocked the bucket with his finger to check. It's hard and the sound of the knock was just like stone. He continued to hit the bucket to the black smooth stone like a child trying to hit the floor with his toy. The result was still the same.

Hmm...I am already in the bathroom, might as well take a bath. I feel dirty from all the things that have been going on and I don't want to look improper in front of my host.

William had not realized it yet. He was a person who didn't take a bath for a week when he had a long vacation just to play game, yet he felt that he was dirty just now. And, the way he was thinking just now was slightly more feminine than he usually was.

William was about to take off his shirt and pants which might be put on him when he was unconscious, but then,

Eh? There isn't water on the tub......

He checked around the room, but William didn't find any source of water at all despite the room itself being damp.

William tilted his head in confusion.

But soon, he heard someone's footsteps coming from the living room.

That must be Rath.

Thought William with a smile on his face. He went out of the bathroom and saw the back of Inaugurath who was trying to pick up a kettle.

"Rath, why is the bathroom doesn't have water?"

A girly yet womanly tone of voice just like the tone of Adaline Bowman from the movie Age of Adaline, called out to Inaugurath in familiarity.

"Huh?"

Inaugurath turned around towards the origin of the voice.

"Huh? Who are you, young lady?"

Inaugurath stared at William with one of his eyebrows raised.

"Eh? It's William, who else?"

"William who?"

Inaugurath felt even more confused, the William he just met had a muscle bound body, a face that might even scared the children of demon race, and was missing leg and ear. He's not this cute yet oddly womanly young lady who stood in front of the bathroom.

"William Growfield, the person you just saved"

William showed vexed expression.

"HUH!? William!?"

"Yes. I mean, you said it was odd that a human was on the mountain, didn't you? That means, I am the only human around. If it isn't me, who else is going to be here in your humble abode?"

William said the humble abode mimicking the way Inaugurath said it before.

"Yes, indeed....but...how did you turn into a such lovely young lady!?"

"Thank you for the compliment, but isn't it rude to say something like 'turn into' when I have always been a lovely lady?"

Right then and there Inaugurath's jaw dropped to the ground.

==================================================================

William and Inaugurath were both sitting on the chair in the middle of the room.

They're both silent.

"Do you have something to ask? Your gaze on my chest has started to make me feel uncomfortable"

"Oh...I apologize..."

Inaugurath veered his head away from William's direction entirely.

"Anyway, what I was asking before. Why aren't there water in the bathroom?"

Although of different race, Inaugurath felt like his heart might be taken from this human woman in front of him who tilted her head in wonder.

Small bodied yet woman instead of girly. A face that he could confidently said the most beautiful woman amongst the human he ever observed with his spell. Eyes that looked sharp, and tinged with teasing glint. Brown asymmetric shoulder-length hair where the right side was shorter. The pointy tips of the twin peaks made Inaugurath awkwardly glanced back and forth between her eyes and that particular part of her.

Inaugurath had never feel "interested" in the female body of human or any female from other races. He thought he was only interested towards female of the same kin as him. Yet, for some reason, in front of this unreal beauty, he felt just like when he was much younger and being teased by the pretty big sister next door long before their invasion happened.

"*cough* so?"

William pretended to cough while she had a smile on her because of Inaugurath's slightly long pause.

"O-oh? That...did you remember the water you were drinking before?"

William thought back on it. Then she realized,

"I see. You used Water Magic for everything. I guess even that sleak black stone attached on the bathroom wall was to be used as a makeshift mirror using the Water Magic to make the reflection clearer"

"Quite perceptive of you"

"May I inquire you some water for me to use to take a bath? I feel like I am a bit dirty and smelly, so I want to clean myself"

William was pinching the collar of her shirt and took a sniff on her body. This made Inaugurath flustered for some reason.

"Demon race has a good sense of smell, and I don't think you smell. In fact, you smell nice"

A moment later, Inaugurath realized what he just said and he had the expression of an "oh shit!" on his face.

William was sending him a teasing smile. To hide his flustered expression, Inaugurath hurriedly stood up.

"Come. I shall prepared the water for you"

"Okay"

William was replying with a tone as if she was singing.

Once Inaugurath passed by the still seating William, he suddenly remembered.

"Wait, don't you have magic yourself?"

"Ah, sorry. I can't use them right now due to the side effect of the magic I used previously. Although even if my magics were not sealed, I do not have any spell for daily necessities. My magics are only useful for combat. I might make a lake instead of just a puddle"

Inaugurath nodded. He felt that that is indeed be bad if the kind of magics William was using back then be fired here in the hideout.

"Oh, I forgot. May I ask for your cooperation to investigate about them and why you could killed them pretty easily?"

"Sure, of course"

Inaugurath headed into the bathroom with William following behind him.

Once inside, Inaugurath casted water spell on the black slate on the wall, and filled the tub full.

Once he did what he got asked for, Inaugurath exited the bathroom.

But when he was just step away from the bathroom's opened door,

"Rath, could you bend your body for a second?"

William called him with a pose as if she was about to whispered something to him.

So, Inaugurath who was almost half a meter taller than the current William, bent his body.

William got closers to the right side of Inaugurath's head.

Inaugurath was wondering in his mind what's this woman about to asked, before....

"*peck*"

Inaugurath's right cheek got kissed by William's soft lips.

"Thank you for helping me"

William showed a teasing smile before she closed the bathroom's door.

Meanwhile, Inaugurath was still by the door, his body bent as if he was a Japanese who bent his body to ask for a forgiveness from a higher up in the company. He was unmoving like a weirdly posed statue.

==================================================================

Done taking her bath, William equipped some equipments she owned on her storage.

Thankfully, William was a maniac in collecting equipments. She possessed every single equipments in Last Imagine 20, some of them were even limited in number in the whole Servers.

William chose several equipments.

Fallen Saintess' Robe - The godly robe of the fallen saintess who dreamed to save even those who had fallen in the deepest hell by taking all of the sinners' sins. Alas, the Saintess unable to realized her dream and suffered the torment of the deepest abyss instead. The elegant black and red embroidery are actually the live pictures of hell itself. Effect(s): Perpetual HP Regeneration (1% HP/sec), Null-damage (50% chance). When destroyed, this equipment would fully repaired itself in 30 hours.

Saintess' Undergarments Set - Luxury Items. It possesses minimal defense, but highly comfortable and would charms any men. Although it is dubbed as the Saintess' undergarments, the design itself was pretty erotic.

Ancient Elf's Gloves - A thin, almost transparent gloves made from the World's Tree's morning dew. Effect(s): Healing Touch (cure any ailments for the wearer and anyone being touched without the use of Mana), Anti-fire (complete resistance from fire spell and heat effect).

Pump of Diva - A white pump belonged to a Diva in the heavenly realm. It's material was from the Divine Light. Effect(s): All-terrain (possible movement in all kind of terrains), Increased Speed (20% increase), Traps Immunity.

Teardrop Earrings - A teardrop-shaped earrings made from Fairies' tears. Effect(s): Increase in healing potency (30%).

Fully equipped with an Endgame's equipments, William checked herself out on the makeshift mirror.

"Should I put on a rouge? Hmm...I guess not. Although I should probably use a lip balm"

William took out another luxury item from her storage, the Lip Balm in which, while in the game, increased the highest charm amongst the other lip balms and then she put it on. The higher the charm, the easiest to negotiate with the NPCs.

"Perfect"

Satisfied with her appearance, William got out of the bathroom.

Inaugurath was seating on one of the chairs while drinking something which smells like tea.

"How do I look?"

William made a twirl.

"Heavenly...."

Inaugurath accidentally let out his unfiltered praise.

William was saying "Thank you" in a soft and quiet voice while her cheeks became slightly red.

Thankfully, even when their cheeks were blushing, demon race peculiar skin colour made it hard to notice such a thing.

"Shall we go?"

"Where to??"

"I need to tell you what I needed help with and just talking about it here could get boring. So how about I show you around the place?"

"That is indeed a wonderful idea. It is a date then"

"IT IS NOT!"

William let out a chuckled at Inaugurath's strong denial.

After some another awkward moments (for Inaugurath), they headed outside.

==================================================================

Once outside Inaugurath's home, William was greeted by a dark ceiling, decorated with tiny lights which looked like stars.

Nearby, she could see houses, stone house like what she could see in The Flintstone.

Some people she saw were children, running around with small stone club. Some were sitting on the ground of their small courtyard to do some meditation, for some reason William could see some kind of aura coming out from them. A bit away from the meditating people, there were women of the demon race, talking to each other. The women were as tall as the average height of Western men.

"Well, I see that you have some questions in you regarding what you have just seen. But please shelved it for later. I need to inform you about our history against them first"

William nodded, and although she was still looking around which is natural, but her ears were still prepped up to listen to Inaugurath.

In summary, from what William have heard from Inaugurath, those creatures appeared out of nowhere numbering hundred thousand and hunted the demon race in every parts of the highlands. Those monsters seems to always know where there were sentient beings, and even now Inaugurath still unable to judged how far was the detection range. Their physical endurance were top notch to the point that even with the calamity class spell Armageddon, Inaugurath couldn't even be sure it killed all of them or not because at the time his friend sent him back to the hideout. But, considering that they were gone in 5 minutes, now he was sure that the Armageddon killed all of them. The mightiest spell that the demon race could use by combining their magic power without any repercussions on them could only harm the creatures as much as a scratch. From Inaugurath study of the remains of William's victims he retrieved , he had found that their physical body was just as normal as any other living creatures. Inaugurath compared it with a dragon's skin and flesh though. But still, these unknown creatures' physical body wasn't the source of their extreme endurance when they're still alive. Then, where did their endurance came from? Why did William could killed them easily even with damage much lover than the demon race's combined spell? That's what Inaugurath tried to investigate.

"That's why, I need to observe your mana"

"Okay, should we start then?"

When William was about to prepare to let out mana to create a Sharp Aura because that's the only thing she knew how to show her mana, someone in a hurry ran towards Inaugurath and William.

"Chief! Emergency! Our scouters are in a jam! They got ambushed in a Mana Turbulence place!"

William looked at Inaugurath's expression who was in disbelief.

"Those idiots, why did they run there of all the places? Do you know the location?"

"Yes sir, we know from the tracker magic"

"Good, assemble four people and meet me here"

"Sir!"

The man of the demon race that seems like a youth, ran off.

"Sorry, it seems that I need your help later when I got back"

"My, do not say such a death flag"

"Death flag?"

"How about taking me along? I can kill them and you can observe my mana properly while I am in battle. Two birds with one stone"

"But you just woke up from your injury and exhaustion. Moreover, currently you look......"

Inaugurath wanted to say that William was currently look weak just like any other human girl, but it feels rather inappropriate to say that out loud.

"I am not some damsel in distress you know? I may look weak physically, but I think my physical strength is as strong as you demon"

William showed a savage smile different than her gentle and teasing smile. It made Inaugurath shivered.

"If you still feel reluctant to let me tag along, just treat me killing those things as a favour returned for picking me up before. How about it?"

"..........."

Inaugurath was in silence, he was thinking whether to believe this "girl" to come with him. The William he picked up was a warrior with a sufficiently muscle body, if it's that William, Inaugurath felt that it's okay, even if William only has one leg. But THIS William? Her limbs that seems to be easily broken by a light touch said that she's a strong as the demon? Inaugurath still couldn't entirely believe what she said.

"Well, it's scary being left here alone among you demons when you were gone. How can I be sure that your race don't eat human like those things?"

Inaugurath's eyes open wide. Now that he thought about it, what reason could there be for this girl to trust other demon race which was as unknown to her as those monsters, when the only demon race she knew was him and even that's just a few moments ago.

"Plus, this is a closed place isn't it. There's no exit nor entrance to this place, because your exit and entrance was using that swap spell you mentioned before. I am going to feel like a sheep traps among wolves...."

This time, William's expression was gloomy as if she was about to cry from her eyes that begun to get teary.

Inaugurath who looked at that expression began to panic and tried to calm William down.

That expression of William was so unfair it made Inaugurath's unable to think properly. Even though if he were able to, he could counter William with her own reason by saying that if she was scared of being attack by his kin because they couldn't trust outsider, then in contrast she wouldn't be able to kill those monsters who were stronger than him and his kin. But then again, a woman's guile clouded the mind of men. Especially if the woman is as inhumanely beautiful as the current William.

"Haaah.....alright. I will bring you along"

"Thank you"

William smiled her prettiest to date. Although "to date" was only a few moments ago. The destructive ability of her smile made Inaugurath turned his eyes away less his heart going to be overworked from beating so much.

Then, four demonkins showed up before Inaugurath and William.

"Are you ready?"

The four nodded.

"Show me the coordinate"

The demon who showed the coordinate was the one to do the reporting before.

Once Inaugurath knew the coordinate, he casted his Clairvoyance spell on the coordinate and made a floating eyeball.

He used the eyeball to look for a target to be used as the swapping spell. Inaugurath couldn't use the swap when he didn't designated the swapping target first, thus he used the eye.

A breath later, he found it.

"Link your mana with me. William, h-hold my hand"

Inaugurath told the four who were staring at William for a while and asked William to hold his hand while stuttering a bit.

William held Inaugurath hand happily with a smile.

Inaugurath felt the linked mana fluctuated for a bit and turned his eyes to the four. Their eyes unblinking, staring at William.

"Concentrate, all of you..."

"SIR!"

The four got surprised, but Inaugurath didn't reprimand them more because actually even his mana flow was also fluctuating.

"Don't let your guard down. Our main priority is to lure them away from our scouters so they could come out from the mana turbulence area and swap back home. Once finished we swap back out too"

They all nodded. William also nodded, following the atmosphere.

"Let's go!"

The six people disappeared from the spot.

==================================================================

Outside the hideout.

William got teleported along with Inaugurath and the other four ten kilometers away from the coordinate.

William could see them from afar. Around two hundreds of them, trying to enter a cave disorderly.

"Let's head to them"

They all ran as fast as they could to get closer to the monsters. William included, but her speed followed the demonkin.

The four who watched William, got surprised because there's a human, a woman at that, who looked weak but could matched their speed.

"Should I just head there first and kill them? You people run so slow"

The four and Inaugurath had their eyes wide in disbelief from being told slow even though they ran at 80km/h.

Before Inaugurath could even reply to her, William took out a sword from her storage and grasp it.

It was the sword that most game might have. It's the Excalibur.

Before anyone but William be amazed from the sight of the sword, William immediately ran in her top speed, leaving Inaugurath and co behind her.

It wasn't long before William reached one of the monsters.

She slashed one with her sword and the monster cut in two. Then, she jumped off and invoke a Sword Technique, Slash Barrage.

It was a technique of continuosly sending out a slash wave like kamaitachi that cut off the monsters in pieces. The wave itself is a kamaitachi, which in legend was so sharp, but it's not just a wind but mana. This technique combined mana with the air pressure which made the kamaitachi. Well, it looks like a plasma slash. In fact it was called Plasma Slash by the players.

William's barrage managed to killed more than a hundred which was clustered together trying to enter the small cave entrance.

Once she's back on the ground, William charged into the cave with still hundred of them remains.

This time, William didn't use a technique at all. She just waved her sword, and several of them got dismembered.

She kept repeating that until she killed the last one.

She looked around, but she didn't see anyone she should rescue.

This cave looked like a dead end. But William didn't see any blood or demonkin remains anywhere. So she decided to call out.

"Heyyy, is anyone hereee? Inaugurath comes to save youuu"

William beckon to them with a cute tone for some reason. Just like a big sister calling out to kids nearby.

"H- over here!"

A voice was heard from right above William. Then she looked above and be surprised.

There was a male demonkin right above her, holding on to a stalactite with two knifes piercing on it, used as a hold.

"Pff...phahahaha"

Although it's rude to laugh at someone who just went through a dire situation, William couldn't help but laugh. Because, there's a demonking, hugging on a stalactite like a baby koala hanging on to its mother, or a sloth on tree, with a teary eyes at that.

William then realized that demonkin was just like any other races. There would be the funny ones, the scary ones, the strict ones, the good ones, the bad ones, just like how normally living people behaves.

"Can y-you stop laughing and get away from there!? How can I get down like this!?"

His stuttering made William laughed even harder, but nonetheless she moved away a bit from below the demonkin on the stalactite.

The other three already who were in the same position as the guy above William already got down first.

Then, the last guy fell down to the ground smoothly as if he got spring in his feet.

He looked at William who was still laughing with a hateful, yet shy gaze just like a sulking child. There's still a bit of tear on the corner of his eyes.

Soon after, Inaugurath and the four had arrived.

The total time for William to killed all of the creatures made Inaugurath looked at William with a wry smile.
