Almost a month has passed since then.

The experiment done by Inaugurath had progressed smoothly.

By accustoming himself with origin mana which was transferred in by Willa, Inaugurath already had a clear picture of the difference between the two kinds of mana.

Although, based on what he said, the "filtered impure mana" still felt difference than Willa's mana. 

As a comparison, Willa's mana purity was 100%. While the filtered mana within Inaugurath had the purity level of 35%. Possibly because the mana wasn't originally generated from himself but from the mana that entered from the atmosphere.

But, being 35% purity was already enough to injured the black monster much easier compared to before. Albeit it might still takes effort to kill them because only 35% of the mana was effective.

Now, even a knife strengthened by this filtered mana could harm them. Without it, it's still very much impossible though.

Then, how come Willa could killed them easily with just normal slash of her sword?

When Inaugurath investigated it, he found out that they're made of origin mana, condensed. Origin mana which nature has changed to make something else.

He asked Willa who created her weapon, but unfortunately Willa didn't know about it either. Which was natural, her entire equipments were from a game she played in her previous life after all. So she answered his questions by saying that she already had her equipments when she came into existence.

Which made Inaugurath have a misunderstanding. He thought that if Willa already has it since then, it means that she's either a Goddess who could make such legendary weapons just by willing it or she's an Angel given the Goddess's Arsenal.

So, in Willa's case, killing them with just her weapon was as easy as a butcher butchering the meat.

"Now, all we have to do is to teach this mana filtering technique to the others"

"I am going to miss this heaven for two"

Willa put on a sad face as if she couldn't part with the kind of life where there were only two of them.

After being together with Willa for a month, Inaugurath already feels accustomed to Willa's teasing. 

Of course, it's only accustomed, as in he knew whether she's teasing him or being serious. It doesn't mean that it didn't make his heart skipped a beat or racing so fast.

"Let's go back"

Said Inaugurath while he offered up his right hand for Willa to hold onto.

Willa took the hand she was offered.

And immediately, both of them went poof.

"You go rest for the night. I have to gather everyone in the meeting hall to tell them of the news"

"Thank you. Summon me if you need something"

Willa entered Inaugurath's house while he was going to the meeting hall.

Once Willa was inside, 

MAGIC IS UNSEALED

She heard that voice again, which she hadn't heard for a while.

I see, now I could use a full-cure magic.

She was about to cast it, but she refrained herself from doing so.

There's nothing to cure on her current self after all.

I guess I need to change back to my former self. 

But before that, I think I shall take a bath first.

So she decided.

The reason why, despite being able to Shapeshift as she likes, Willa decided against that was because it wasn't just the shape which changed, but also the inside.

It was like the Movie: Split.

William turned into Willa. Most of the psyche was Willa. But it did not mean there wasn't William's conscience in there too.

If it were to be put in word, "William" is the Greater-will, another personas of his had to do his will, just like how the other personas in the movie Split moved for the sake of the Beast persona.

Simply put, William didn't want to shapeshift. Plus, he might be afraid if he were to keep shapeshifting to many different persona, he would lost sight of his own personality.

At least, for the moment, William need to refrain of doing so unless she could just Shapeshift while leaving out the Existence part on the Great Pretender's effect.

How could it not be scary? It was an ability to create a person with their own mindset, their own personality, and their own feeling, while sharing the same body, even if the shape was different.

Taking off her equipments, Willa began to take a bath.

It's not like she didn't take a bath for a month, when she was doing experiment with Inaugurath, she only came back here twice a week to take a bath.

As a lady, she at least wanted to take a bath once a day. 

It'd be rude of her to ask for Inaugurath to go back to the hideout once a day for the whole month even if it was done by swapping spell.

On the bathroom, Willa was washing her body with the magic water Inaugurath had prepared for her beforehand.

The magic water had the same effects as cleansing agents such as soap, shampoo, and the like.

So, as long as she was rubbing properly to clean off the dirt stuck on her, it would still be the same as the usual bath with soap and et cetera. It cleans off dirt and dust, and it also gets rid off bad body odour.

Although it didn't make the body smells good, but the magic water did more than enough. Willa's natural body odour smells like sweet fruits or sweet flower nectars anyway.

While Willa was enjoying herself cleaning of her body, she shivered in pleasure when she accidentally brushed a certain sensitive part of her.

Willa stopped her movements.

Then continued after she was thinking of something.

But this time, her movements weren't like someone who tried to clean off oneself's body from dirt and dust.

Then, Willa's body was twitching, and she was panting. Her muscle, all relaxed.

Getting out of the bathroom, Willa headed to the kitchen part of the living room and took the kettle.

There's already tea inside it, she would just need to reheated it by sending her mana to the stone plate with magic circle which purpose was to let out heating magic like a stove.

After waiting for a while, finally the tea had become hot.

She took the kettle and poured it to the cup on the table.

Steam that brought out the nice aroma of tea made Willa even more relax.

Then, she took a tiny sip.

"Haaah...."

And let out a satisfied sigh.

I am not a connoisseur of tea, but this tea sure is delicious. I have never tasted one like this.

"Should I name it Fantasy Tea or Magical Tea, I wonder?"

Willa was talking to herself, trying to enjoy her relaxation.

After that, she kept drinking the tea with an empty mind, only focused on enjoying her tea.

Ten minutes passed, and she's emptied her cup.

"Now then..."

She put down her cup, equipped what William wore before and closed her eyes.

She was trying to concentrate so that her mind wasn't wandering around.

She didn't want to miss again and changed into other than her desired target of shapeshifting.

The process took 3 minutes. Finally Willa changed back to William.

It was a successful.

"Fuu...I forgot when I was roleplaying as that character, her setting has something like that..."

The moment Willa changed to William, the first thing that he was thinking was his behaviour as Willa while she was on the bathroom.

While he was roleplaying as that character back in his previous life, the background was that she was a playful mature woman, who had a past where she got betrayed by her lover for someone prettier when she was still fat. When her teasing worked, it raised her self-confidence, and realized that she's pretty now. All of the gazes that men sent towards her, made her proud and excited. By excited, it includes sexual excitement too. Her setting also included an above average libido and a slight tendency of exhibitionism.

At least, that's the setting he had written as a general outline of his roleplaying so that it could be judged whether his roleplay fit the setting.

"........."

William was reminiscing the scene on the bathroom.

The way Willa moved her hands, her moans, and et cetera.

William felt that his pants was getting tighter.

"No no no no nono!"

William shook his head frantically.

"What am I? A narcissistic sick bastard!?"

"Why am I being aroused from my own female persona dammit!"

William continued his monologue, while he facepalmed.

"Aaaaaarrggg!"

And he continued with banging his head on the stone table for a few times.

"Haaaaaaaaaaahhhh....."

William let out a long sigh.

"Well... she's pretty after all. And isn't it normal for a guy to be aroused by that?"

"Nonononono how can it be normal!? It's like having a boner from looking at my own nude for god's sake!"

William was in a dilemma, he didn't know whether it's normal or not.

"....haaah... let's just forget bout it. There's something  that needed more attention..."

As he decided to stop thinking altogether about it, he looked at his missing leg below the table, and then he touched his missing ear.

Then, he took a deep breath,

"Full-cure"

And casted the spell he was waiting to use this whole month along with the breath he exhaled.

Dusts of light were glimmering around his missing leg and ear.

When the light subsided, he could see his leg. His ear was there too when he touched it.

"Phew...I'm glad I don't end up as a disabled. Especially when it's because of my own stupidity"

William kept touching his leg which was healed, as if he was touching a long lost pet which finally came home.

At the meeting hall, at the time when Willa was done taking a bath.

The meeting hall could housed everyone in the hideout, but the only ones attending were only around 300 people from the total population of around 2000. Most of them are heads of the families, or holding positions which required combat skills.

"I wonder what important things the chief is gonna tell now?"

"Yeah, last time was about the human guest"

"This past month, chief was rarely here, and I always saw him come and go with the guest"

"Don't tell me, he wants to announce his marriage to the female human?"

"You don't say"

"Yeah! Maybe it's really that? They always seem to be together after all"

The murmurs of those who were gossipping about filled the hall in a buzz.

"Be quiet everyone. I have something important to tell you"

With amplified voice by magic, Inaugurath asked in a polite tone.

"As you have known and experienced for quite some times, all these years we were living in fear of those who took our peaceful ordinary life"

Some of the audiences nodded their head, some were wiping the corner of their eyes from tears.

"We might still need to brace for a harsh future"

"BUT! Fret not!! It might still be harsh, but now! I have found a way to killed our sworn enemies!"

Everyone widened their eyes at Inaugurath declaration.

"I have confirmed that we can kill them with Origin Mana!"

People was in buzz once again.

"Origin Mana is a mana that we naturally generate!"

"Yet, it's amount was low, thus before it could filled our maximum capacity, the external mana or the mana from the atmosphere filled our capacity first!"

"As you know, mana was a byproduct of oozing vitality. The mana we were using so far was the impure kind. Because it's not the mana that ourselves generated but the mana which was generated by the planet"

"Thus within ourselves, mostly reside impure mana. In which it's not enough to even injured them!"

"I have not yet find a way to raise this origin mana regeneration within ourselves to the point it fills us faster than the atmospheric mana, but I have found a way to convert the impure mana to a purer form!"

People was abuzz, hope filled their eyes, and their gloomy expressions brighten.

"Tomorrow morning, those who want revenge, those who want to protect, those who just want a new technique, gather on the training field!"

"Ooooohhhh!!!"

The shout of hope was reverberating within the hall.

"Now go back and rest for tomorrow we need to work hard to get us a better future! Dism----!?"

All of sudden, the whole atmosphere felt heavier, it was as if he was about to meet his doom and Inaugurath felt chilled down his spine more than he ever had experienced.

Then screamed filled the hall.

"Aaaaaahhh!!!! Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!"

"I don't wanna die I don't wanna die I don't wanna die"

"Gye geeheheeheheheeheheheeheheyeeyeeheehehehehehehehehehehehg!!!"

"Hic...sob sob sniff....hwaaah hwaaaah"

There were those who were screaming hysterically.

Those who were sitting down on floor while covering their eyes or ears while they were saying that they don't wanna die.

Those who laughed maniacally.

And those who were crying in despair.

Wh-!? What is this!? Why did everyone become like this all of sudden!?

Inaugurath thought while his body was shivering uncontrollably.

"E-everyone!!! Calm down!!!!!!"

Yet the situation didn't change.

I need to find the source that makes this happening quickly before somebody's got themselves hurt!

With trouble, Inaugurath got out from the meeting hall.

Even outside, there were his people running around trying to get away, screaming in despair, crying, or laughing while muttering that this is the end of the world.

Yet for some reason, his mind was thinking about Willa.

I need to check on her!

Inaugurath hurried home. 

When he arrived, instead of Willa, it's William who was enjoying tea that he saw.

Inaugurath realized now.

This pressure came from the man in front of him.

He didn't know why William was letting out this atmosphere.

"Wil-Willia ...m!"

"Cough cough"

William choked on his tea and he turned his head to Inaugurath who just screamed at him and was about to complain.

But before he could complain, he saw Inaugurath's face which was paler than the usual.

"Wait!? What happen!?"

William hurriedly came towards Inaugurath whose face was so pale.

When he looked closely, Inaugurath was shivering so badly to the point that his teeth were chattering against each other. William never saw him being like this. More like, he never seen someone behaving like this from anyone in his vicinity even in his previous life.

"C-cut it!.....o-o-off! Your- a-aura!"

William got confused.

Aura? What aura?

After a split second, he remembered. That one effect from his Trophy.

Death - The avatar of the end of everything, granted to those who took insurmountable amount of life by himself. Effect (s): Deathly Aura, Eyes Overseeing Death.

So it's because of this!!!?

But nothing happened for the whole month! Why did it activate now!?

Off, dammit! Turn it off!!

Not knowing how to turn the effect off, William was screaming inside, wishing that it got turned off.

Yet it seems that it didn't work because Inaugurath's condition was still the same.

Shit! What should I do? 

I know! I should try to change into Willa again! It was fine when I was being her!

"Hold on! I'm gonna try something"

William was concentrating with the sound of Inaugurath's teeth chatterings in the background while he closed his eyes.

Thankfully, the dire situation heightened his concentration and he didn't slipped.

William once again changed back into Willa.

When she felt that the transformation was successful, she opened her eyes.

Inaugurath's complexion looked slightly better, and it seems that his shivering had also stopped.

"Rath, are you okay?"

"Yeah..."

Willa's soothing voice calmed him down.

In relief, Inaugurath suddenly hugged her.

"Eh?"

"I was...so...so scared..."

While being hugged, Willa realized that Inaugurath was currently sobbing.

Willa hugged him back, and caressed the back of his head.

"I thought...I thought all hope was lost...even though I have finally found a way for my kin not to live in fear..."

"..........."

Willa was being silent, but her hand was still caressing Inaugurath's hair.

"Hic... sniff...sniff..."

"It is okay...it is okay, I am here for you"

"It's...sniff... it's because of you that I am like this...you stupid"

Willa could only smiled wryly at that retort.

She felt that, due to terror, Inaugurath's personality regressed for a bit.

After a while, Willa couldn't hear anymore sobbing from Inaugurath anymore and his breathing seems to have returned to normal.

The both of them stayed on the doorway for a little while longer.
