(Author note: I'm very sorry, I've been down for 2 weeks and couldn't get up from the bed. So long as I am not terribly sick, I will at least post a chapter in a week. While for Miya-sama ni TS Tensei's translation, I will continue it after I have fully recovered. Thank you for reading my story)

Willa entered the tavern while still looking at the horse in a tutu drawing, she was making sure whether she saw correctly or not.

Inside, the place wasn't as gloomy as a tavern in anime where there were many ruffians as Willa thought. The place's interior was nice like a modern café and the guests varied, and all of them were wearing presentable clothes.

More like, on the way here, she didn't see anyone at all wearing something unpresentable. Even those who wear something that lacks material looks clean and well-kept. It wasn't like the fantasy she imagined.

She walked towards the tavern master standing behind the bar.

For information, there's no such thing as the guests always checking out who entered the tavern just like the cliché with a tavern full of adventurers.

Even while she walked towards him, the tavern master was busy preparing drinks for guests, so he did not notice Willa was approaching.

"Excuse me"

Said Willa, without seating down on the seat.

The tavern master immediately turned his head towards Willa. His eyes widened, before it returned to normal immediately after.

"What is it?"

Said him, curtly with disinterested expression.

"Is there any vacant seat facing the entrance?"

Willa didn't know the custom of this world, who knows, maybe even in a tavern the seats were booked and despite being vacant, it's actually not. Thus she asked.

"There"

The tavern master pointed at a seat near the bar. It's directly diagonal facing the entrance. So if the soldier comes and looked at the bar direction, Willa would be within his field of vision.

"Thank you"

Willa smiled slightly before she was heading toward her seat.

The tavern master continued what he was doing, with a disinterested face opposite of what's inside his mind

Who in the world's that? Is she a princess from somewhere? I never seen one that heavenly.

The tavern master's heart was still beating too fast from feeling nervous. The only reason he could act otherwise was because he used to be a soldier before he retired. A soldier that guarded the party venue for high class nobles, he got used seeing kings and queens or beautiful princesses. If he couldn't remain calm, at least outwardly, he wouldn't be able to do such jobs.

Back to Willa. She was sitting elegantly, and as time went by, people begun to noticed her presence. Some, kept glancing on and off her direction making their pupils moved like a clock's pendulum. Some others, just stared at Willa without even blinking, or possibly without even breathing.

But one brave soul came forward.

It was a young boy, around 14 or 15 years old. He brought a wooden cup with him, and on his back, there's a man whose face resembled the boy urging him to give the lady the cup.

"U-u-uhm!"

The boy nervously tried to get Willa's attention, which succeeded.

"Yes?"

"Here...pwease dring!"

He was too tense, his words turned out wrong.

Willa didn't tease the young boy she just smiled and accepted what was offered o her.

"Thank you. Please, if you do not mind, do take a seat. I do not mind the person who come with you to join us too"

Willa motioned with her hand to ask the man resembling the boy to come over.

The man nodded and came over. Although he was walking weirdly. Her right leg and hand moved forward at the same time.

"Welcome. Thank you for the treat"

The man just nodded, forgetting how to speak.

But the brave young boy living up to his bravery.

"N-no problem. Please to meet your acquaintance. I'm Toine and this is my father, Anton. We're traveling merchants. We're sorry if we bother you..."

"Oh no, do not mind it. You are not bothering me at all. I have nothing to do while waiting"

The boy and his father heaved a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry if this comes off as meddling with your personal matter, but what business are here for?"

It's indeed meddling other people's business, but Willa felt that she's got nothing to hide and she's not that socially inept not to notice that the boy just tried to break the ice. So she answered.

"I came to this city leaving my luggage and money behind while monsters chased me, so I gave the soldiers a silver ring to pay for the entrance toll. But he said that the ring might be more than the toll, so he would give me the left over money to me later. He told me to wait in this tavern"

"I see. My condolences. It was really troublesome being chased by monster, and even more so if the precious luggage was lost. It's reassuring that the soldiers on guard duty were honest people"

Toine the boy nodded, he could relate with that kind of experience. Most travelling merchant did actually.

Meanwhile his father, Anton, was still being silent.

"You were saying that you are a traveling merchant. What is your merchandise?"

This time, the father was the one who responded to Willa.

"W-w-w-w!"

Yet his respond didn't make out a single word at all.

"Calm down, dad. Taaake a breath"

Anton was good at managing business, he had the mind of a merchant, but unfortunately he didn't have the nerve of one. All negotiation talks were left for Toine, his son, who is more eloquent in talking, and had the nerve of a merchant although knowledge wise, he's still very much inexperienced compared to his father.

There's also one other reason why, even though he's nervous when he gave the cup of drink to Willa, but now he's feeling fine. It's because he realized that the lady wasn't a young lady at all. He was nervous because he tried to appeal to her, wishing that maybe in the future he might have much more better relationship romantically, but as soon as he sat down, something came to his vision and he gave up right away.

It was Willa's breasts. Toine thought that her age was around his age due to her small stature, but soon after he sat down, he realized that she's not a teenager around his age. Not with the "ripe fruits" on her person.

And, from her mannerism, from his experience conversing with a lot of people as a merchant, he knew that she's at least around his father's age.

"W-w-w-w e go by with selling textile"

Said Anton, his lips were moving like a fish gasping for water.

"My! Textile you said? What a coincidence! I have some spare fabric on my person, can you take a look at it and check whether it has value? I certainly need some money on hand at the moment"

"We would love to, Miss...."

Responded Toine in joy for a new customer, but then he frowned, he didn't know the name of the lady in front of him.

"My oh my! I apologise, it seems I have forgotten to introduce myself! I am sorry for being such a rude host. Mine is Willa"

Willa smiled offered her right hand to Toine and Anton.

Anton was the first one to take her hand.

But instead of a handshake, Anton was nervously giving Willa's hand a kiss.

"!?!?!?!?"

Toine was surprised at the bold thing his father did.

"Uhm...a handshake is fine..."

With a wry smile and a red tinge on her cheeks, Willa looked so adorable.

And that resulted in the father, Anton, got up from his seat, and ran away outside while he covered his face with his hands.

"If a kiss on the hand is what you prefer...I do not mind"

Her cheeks are now redder. Toine, who had given up to woo her, got caught in the whim of an evil mature woman, felt flustered.

"N-n-no, a handsex is find..."

Willa widened her eye in surprised with a face that even redder in color.

"NO!!! I mean handshake!!!"

Toine was so flustered his eyes were having some terrible tremors and his sweat flow out like he was walking on a dessert.

"Fufufu...I know. You do not have to be that flustered"

Willa was giggling femininely. Toine who was being laughed at had his face so red and lost his ability to raise his face as if his face was heavy due to the blood gathered on his face.

Willa and Toine didn't notice, but the whole guests in the tavern were being silent. They were all enjoying the sight of Willa.

"Fufufu...then let me redo it. Pleased to be your acquaintance. I am Willa"

Willa re-offered her hand which she retracted to cover her mouth while laughing.

Toine held her hand and shook it.

How soft... it's as if every kind of sentient being was agreeing to protect this hand so that it would remain unblemished and perfect for eternity....

Toine was in a daze enjoying the sensation on his palm. To the point that he didn't let go of his hand and kept shaking Willa's hand.

Willa just let him be. It's more fun to let him realised it himself and be even more embarrassed than if she were the one to make him notice. Willa feels excited to see his reaction. It seems that she forgot her promise to Inaugurath not to behave this way.

A moment later,

"*gasp*...s,sssssss,ssssssssssssssssss-!"

'Toine's system has crashed' was probably what's going on right now.

This time, Willa laughed a bit louder. As expected, despite being brave, apple won't fall far away from its tree. He's just the same with his father who ran away.

"My oh my, it is fun conversing with you father and son ?"

Toine planted his face on the table and groaned.

"*pat pat* now now, stop being in agony. Everything is an experience. You are still young, it is okay to behave weirdly ?"

Willa pat the head of the agonizing young man.

When she did so, Toine lifted his face from the table.

It's you that made me behaved weirdly!

Retorted Toine in his mind with teary eyes.

The reaction made Willa has an urge to keep teasing the young boy, but she refrained from doing so. It might traumatized him if she were to do more than this.

"Uuuhh..."

The boy was pouting.

It made Willa's eyes turn gentle as if she's watching her own little brother. If she ever has one.

The atmosphere became silent for a bit before it got disturbed with the sound of the tavern door being opened.

It was the soldier who promised Willa her money.

==================================================================

The soldier sat down immediately on the chair Anton was sitting at after he noticed Willa.

Toine realized that this was probably the soldier Willa was talking about.

"Here. That ring price was 850 Roops. I already deducted 5 Roops, so it's 845 Roops in this pouch"

The soldier dropped the pouch in front of Willa, his attitude was a bit cold and rude, but looking at his eyes which didn't gaze at Willa at all, anyone would notice that he's actually very nervous.

"Thank you. Are you still on duty? If you are not, would you like to drink something first before you return to your duty. My treat"

Asked Willa in politeness.

".....ey...."

Mumbled the soldier.

"I beg your pardon?"

"It's not 'You'...call me Trey"

His face was facing up Willa, but the soldier's, Trey's eyes weren't looking at her at all.

"I understand. So how about it Trey?"

"Yeah...okay"

Willa got up and ordered three  cup of wine from the tavern master.

"Here you go"

Willa gave the two cups to Toine and Trey.

Toine received it with slight awkwardness, as if he was trying not to touch Willa's hand. While Trey, just accepted it without saying anything.

"Err ... Willa, about the fabric you are trying to sell?"

Said Toine after he sipped a bit of his wine.

"Oh yes, here we go"

Willa pulled out a white fabric from within her robe, although in actuality, he pulled it out of her storage.

The fabric she took out made out of Desert Yak's tail fur. Desert Yak in Last Imagine was a yak without fur except on its whole tail. Supposedly, this fabric was woven from its tail fur which was long and bushy. It has the attribute of anti-dust, anti-water, anti-burn, and a good magic conductor.

Willa gave it to Toine so he could check the price.

Trey was also looking at the fabric curiously.

With adept hands, Toine touched the fabric with the gaze of a merchant. Although he's still inexperienced in the business sense and knowledge, but in terms of judging the good(s) he mainly dealt with, he's already as adept as his father, Anton.

While touching the fabric back and forth from top to bottom, his expression gotten even more confused.

"What kind of fabric is this?"

Asked Toine still with a confused expression to Willa.

Toine never had come across with this kind of fabric. At first sight, he thought it was silk, but somehow it felt smoother than silk. When he traced the fabric , he sent mana to the cloth, and it absorb 100 out of 100 amount of his mana. There was no fabric such as this. Even the best magic cloth Kaisar used as magic clothes for emperors, kings, or great wizards was only capable of receiving and transmitting 40/100 of the amount. Yet this cloth on his hands didn't waste any mana.

"It was from a monster called Desert Yak, supposedly. Besides it being unable to get dirty, be burnt, or gotten wet, this fabric would keep getting longer and longer when infused with mana constantly for a whole day. But when you cut it off, the new part from the cut is going to lose such ability"

Toine jaw dropped. Trey too for that matter.

Then isn't this a national treasure!?

Toine almost shouted out loud, thankfully he only did that in his mind. If people knows the value of this fabric, there's a very high chance some people would aim to steal it.

Realising that made his hands tremble.

"Even though I said that, it would take around 7 to 10 days for that cloth to be twice as big, and it must be constantly, without stopping, let mana flow into it?"

Willa tilted her head while giving explanation based on what she knew from the backstory of its item description back in Last Imagine.

""....what?""

Said Toine and Trey at the same time for some reason.

"Oh, but I think it would also lose that kind of feature if the cloth were to be shorter than the length of the upper arm. So I advise not to cut it off shorter than what it is now, just to be safe"

"I definitely want to buy this, but...even by using all of our assets, we won't be able to cover 10% of the price..."

"Hmm...does this city have some kind of a bank?"

Asked Willa, because she's not sure whether there's even a bank in this world.

"A bank? There is at least a bank in every big city. Why?"

"How was the bank system?"

"It's the same as everywhere else. The bank provide credits to those who fulfilled the amount to take a credit. We could deposit and withdraw money in every bank so long as we have an account with money in it. And, we could transfer money to another account. But to make an account, you have to deposit at least 10 thousand Roops"

"I see. What is the price of this fabric based on your estimation?"

"The best fabric at the moment is Kaisar magic cloth. Its price is 200 thousand Roops per square meter...and it's the most luxurious fabric in existence. But this fabric I'm holding tops it. So I estimate, the cut off part of this fabric which have lost the always growing bigger feature would cost around 800 thousand to 1.2 million Roops per square meter...while the source....well... it's a blank cheque, 25 million Roops is the minimum price for this. Even if we somehow make a deal with you and bought it, we aren't sure we can safe guard this treasure from bandits and the like after its greatness has spread...."

"I see, this is that valuable huh. Hmm...then how about you and your father become the go-between for the trade of this fabric? You and your father jobs are to look for potential buyer and the negotiation for the price, for the profit, we divide it 3:7. Your side is 3, mine 7. How about it?"

Inside, Willa was quite surprised that the trash item that keeps multiplying like this fabric, which was only garnering 99 thousand gold for the 99 pieces of it, which wasn't enough to buy 10 high grade potions, was give price as high as 1.2 million with the highest estimation.

Considering that a cup of wine was 7 Roops, even if it was only a square meter which got sold, I would have enough money not to worry about foods.

Thought Willa.

"Can I discuss this first with my father?"

"Sure, I will put the deal on hold for you"

After that, Toine stood up and went outside, seeking his father.

==================================================================

"Who...are you?"

Asked Trey. The identity of the woman in front of him began to be getting more suspicious.

Her extraordinary looks that makes one very sure that there wouldn't be any other more or as beautiful at her, and the treasure she casually pulled out, plus the fact that she hadn't had money, made him questioned her identity.

"I am really just traveller"

".....from where are you coming from...if you aren't a princess, or a queen from somewhere, the only other possibility is that you're a thief. But a thief won't be as conspicuous as you"

"Hmm...let just say I came from the direction of Himaseru"

"Your clothes didn't look like it comes from Shyaraya"

"I never said I hail from there"

"Does that mean...you come from the world above? But that's impossible, you don't look strong"

"Oh my, if being strong could make one go up there, Dragons would be able to come visit, would they not?"

"True...."

"Only those born up there could live there after all"

Well, Willa didn't lie. She might not be born there, but it was above the highland where she first being conscious of where she was.

All of sudden, the sounds of bells rang.

"There's an emergency! Please excuse me"

Trey immediately got up and ran outside.

Willa who wanted to know what's going on also went outside.

==================================================================

Outside Merchant City's gate facing the direction of Shyaraya, at the time when Willa just got offered a drink by Toine.

"What's that.....?"

Said the soldier above the watch tower.

"Animal herd maybe"

Responded the other soldier while he was checking out what his fellow soldier saw in the horizon.

"They seem to approach here at a terribly fast speed though?"

"Wait lemme see..."

The soldiers who brought a telescope took it out and saw the herd through the lense.

"Tha-!? That's a herd of monsters!!!!! Tell everyone to get inside the gate!! There are more than we can handle! Ring the bell!!"

"Roger!!"

Then he rang the bell.

Once rang, the other bells within the city has also rang.

The soldiers minding the gate below evacuated in the visitors.

"Let them in faster! The monsters are fast approaching us!"

Shouted the soldier above the watch tower.

Once the visitors had all came into the city, the herd could be seen with naked eyes.

They're black humanoid monsters, more than 2 meters tall.

Even though they're still one kilometer away, their distance from the gate was shrinking fast.

"Barricade the gate!!!"

Soldiers were reinforcing the city gate with blocks of wood, they also pull down the metal bars besides doing that.

The archers had come up on top of the wall, put up their bow and arrow on the ready.

The incoming monsters were now could be clearly seen. The sounds of their steps were as if a batallion of cavalry was coming to attack, while their roars invokes fear for anyone who heard it.

"Ready!!.....aaaaaaaaaiiiim...."

15 archers readied their bows, the other archers were still on the way.

Once the herd was under the 100 meter mark...

"Fire!!!!"

Shouted the leader of the archers.

Arrows were launched to the herd. All of it hit...but not even one was piercing through their skin.

But the soldiers weren't panic.

"Ready another volley!!! Aim! Fire!!!!"

Another volley of arrows were raining down to the herd.

Yet it did nothing. Before they could ready another volley, the monsters reached the gate. Several of them slammed their body with great momentum on the gate. The gate shook so much if it wasn't reinforced beforehand, it would surely be breached.

The monsters kept hitting the gate, and the wall which was only 8 meters tall. The vibrations could be felt by the soldiers on the wall.

They kept shooting arrows, throwing rocks, or pour oil and burn them, and yet the monsters were bent on trying to get inside the city and ignored all the attacks they received.

"What in the world are they!? Nothing we did works on them! Where are the magicians!?"

"Still on the way, sir!"

"Shit! Keep reinforcing the gate!!!"

The vibrations were so terrible that even if the gate survived, they feared that it would be the city's wall which would given up. They already begun to hear cracks.

From within the city, the rest of the soldiers were heading towards the gate being attacked. There were also magicians included.

The soldiers immediately made defensive formation right by the gate, while the magicians went on top of the wall to help the archers.

But even being rained by arrows and magic, the monsters didn't even budge from what they're doing.

The magicians gave up their attacks on the abominations under them, and instead they helped reinforced the gate and the wall with their earth wall magic.

"How can we repel them if they didn't even budge!?"

Shouted the guard commander.

"Sir!"

A soldier, the one who went to report to the higher ups of the city, came reporting to the guard commander.

"Magicians from Shyaraya will come soon with teleport!"

"Thank heaven! Everyone! We must do our best to delay these bastards until our reinforcement has arrived!"

"OoooooooooOOoOoh!!"

The moral increased.

Every soldiers in the world would feel relieved from being reinforced by even a single magician of Shyaraya, that's how great the force of Shyaraya is.

Fifteen minutes later, 10 Shyaraya's magicians came to help.

They immediately cast their earth magic to box the hundreds of the monster. Shyaraya's magicians had enough mana, and better technique to make earth wall sturdier than the Merchan City's wall to surround the herd.

But this was merely a makeshift solution.

The gate facing Shyaraya was completely unusable now, and right outside of it, there are around 300 humanoid monsters which they couldn't harm. Yet, even when it was being trapped by earth wall surrounding them, those monsters didn't even stop pounding on the wall created through earth magic.

"Sorry, the alliance don't have any way yet to harm this monster. The best we could do is to trap them, and keep reinforcing the wall and hope we found the method to kill it soon"

Said the magician leader hailed from Shyaraya.

"What in god's name are they?"

Asked the guard commander.

"We don't know. All we know about is that they're the strong, fast, and very durable...probably stronger than a dragon"

Listening to what the magician leader had said, the guard leader eyes could become silent.

"As strong as dragon...and there are hundreds of them?"

"*Nods*"

The magician leader could only nod, he didn't want to tell him that Shyaraya was attacked by millions of them.

For now, the crisis was averted.
