Description:
A Talismancer is a user of talisman items. They can record and use any type of magic for later use without MP, but their prowess in magic plays a big role in the quality of the talisman. That is the reason why this class is classified as a magician class.
The greatest strength of the Talismancer is that they can throw tons of different spells on a target without the use of MP. However, they lose any chances of attacking when they use up their last talisman. A dedicated Talismancer must remember to stock up on talismans on a daily basis.
Abilities obtained from leveling up the Talismancer class:
- [Talisman User LV1]
- [Magic Item Enhancement LV1]
- [Paper Creation LV1]
- [Talisman Creation LV1]
- [Item Box (Talisman) LV1]
- [Ink Creation LV1]
- [Powerspot Detection LV1]
- [Record Formula LV1]
Each entry on the list is available when reaching a class level of a tenfold. The first two items are received the moment one obtains the class. In the case of Talismancer being selected as the Main class, one will get the three first items instead. The final item is therefore only obtainable for those with Talismancer as the Main class.
Mira's comment: I'm surprised that Garami's not thought about this class before.
Garami's comment: To be honest... so am I.
This is probably so far the class I will like the most for myself if I was in this universe.
? For what reasons?
1- It's a magic class, but does not necessarily involved combat (I know it isn't the only one)
2- It uses preparation and having a lot of talismans, and I love keeping lot of stuff on me
3- It got an item box skill (for talismans)
4- the paper creation skill,we did see in the story that paper isn't cheap
5- I'm not sure what Formula records is but it got at least a cool name
6- I love the 'item-user' type of character in stories
7- It look like a great class to do experiments with/about
8+ bonus point for we haven't seen that much of non-fighting classes until now.
@Dradel Record Formula can copy a magic formula used by someone to a mental databank (like how Auto-Mapping makes a mental map), which then can be written on a tag so that the Talismancer can use that spell themselves.
Well, it got a nice name and it's very useful then.
