Lin Qingcheng immediately started crying, whether from his spanking or some other reason he didn't know. She was still an inexperienced young woman and he probably went overboard.

"Shh, Qingcheng, I'm so sorry..." Chen Wentian hugged her and wiped her tears.

"Wuu..." Lin Qingcheng continued to sob but she also hugged him back.

Chen Wentian awkwardly comforted her, "I'm sorry... did it hurt?"

"Mmmhmm..." She mumbled into his chest.

"Are you mad at me?" Chen Wentian asked.

She shook her head and then looked at him, fresh tears spilling out. "Master, I'm sorry for being a bad girl..."

Chen Wentian couldn't take it anymore and kissed her. She seemed to calm down after that and after a moment, they broke apart. Chen Wentian smiled as he said, "No, you're not a bad girl! You're perfect, my dearest disciple. I was just surprised but whatever it is, I like it!"

Lin Qingcheng finally cracked a smile, "Really?"

"Yes!" Chen Wentian said as he caught her lips again. He held back so it wasn't a needy lustful kiss, it was more like a soothing loving kiss.

Eventually, Lin Qingcheng was all smiles again. She led him to her room at the Zhou branch house and introduced him to her growing collection of instruments of female pleasure. They included only a vibrator and small dildo so far, both acquired from Huang Ruyan, the prostitute she had saved from Drunk Blossom Inn. She blushingly described how the vibrating egg felt inside her, how it tingled and set fire to her senses all at once. She hadn’t even tried the dildo yet. She had made sure it was much smaller than his cock but she was still worried about what he might think about her sticking something like that inside her.

Chen Wentian was blown away by her revelation. He had read about such toys in erotic literature but this was his first time encountering them. His mind spun as he thought about the possibilities, all of which made him far more aroused than usual.

He had no problem with Lin Qingcheng using this dildo and he told her so. If she could reach a quicker orgasm with a toy compared to her fingers, it meant she could cultivate faster. The vibrator also had its advantages as it was stealthy. She could cultivate and increase her strength during the day while doing other things. How efficient was that?

He studied the inscriptions on the vibrator with great interest and said, “Qingcheng, I will teach you a mental manipulation ability. It is called Mind Sever. It is a useful skill for cultivating some more complex Daos in the future but for now, it can be very useful to you. Mind Sever focuses on separating the mind and the body so that any sensations your body feels can be isolated in your mind. The effect is that you won’t experience any involuntary reactions with your body. Usually, it is used to suppress such things as fear or desire. In your case, you'll be able to hide the physical reactions from your orgasms.”

“Oh!” Her face brightened, “I’ll be able to use this vibrator without being caught by you!”

“Hahaha, perhaps. But if you do get caught by me, then I will slap your butt again!”

“Master, noooo!”

After teaching Lin Qingcheng for a while, Chen Wentian picked up Zhou Ziyun from the library, only be to surprised again. He seemed to be surprised a lot for an immortal but it wasn't his fault. His disciples were simply too talented!

Zhou Ziyun had unlocked something in her mind and her comprehension had improved. He was shocked by just how much her comprehension had grown in a short time as she described how she had raided on economics in the capital library. It allowed her to read over a hundred books in half a day.

Chen Wentian wanted to test her comprehension ability so he asked about what she read. She immediately started talking about a multitude of different economic theories. Somewhere along the way, he heard something about the advantages of providing benefits to employees in a company and the resulting increases to cost savings, work efficiency, and worker happiness. She was so sure about it all that she had already started planning how to implement some of the ideas in her businesses.

The longer she talked, the more Chen Wentian felt like he wasn't as smart as her.

"Ziyun?" He eventually had to stop her.

"Yes, master?"

He couldn't think of anything intelligent and he simply smothered her with a kiss.

They returned to the Zhou branch house where Chen Wentian gave Zhou Ziyun a manual for the Mind Focusing Realm. It was called A Cultivator’s Guide to the Mind. It was a stupid name but the contents weren't.

The tome was something he had stolen from an immortal sect with a lengthy history. They specialized in Daos of the mind so they had a deep understanding of all aspects of the Mind Focusing Realm which was all about allowing the mind to control all aspects of one's body.

He opened the manual and read the first chapter together, explaining every sentence and the concepts within. The first chapter contained the easiest mind realm abilities which dealt with the control of muscles. The mind had supreme influence over all the muscles of one's body and could will them to exceed their limits and perform miraculous feats. A cultivator can run faster, punch stronger, and lift heavier merely by the mind being willing.

The second chapter dealt with mind abilities that controlled one's organs. Like muscles, organs could be controlled with the mind but it was much more difficult. These included making the heart beat faster or slower, making the lungs take in more air or hold a breath beyond their limit, and many more.

As he wrapped up the second chapter, he felt a surge of spiritual energy from his disciple.

Woosh!

Zhou Ziyun looked up at him with a confident smile. Just like that, she had already broken through to the 2nd Level of the Mind Focusing Realm. He could only stare in awe, her comprehension ability was simply too good!

"Ahem... Uh, let’s get on with the next chapter then." Chen Wentian said and flipped a page.

This one contained abilities that controlled the senses such as smell, sight, hearing, taste, and touch. Improved sight, improved hearing, and others were all possible as well.

Following this, the manual delved into many esoteric aspects of the mind that weren't as popular. They were difficult yet had the potential to be very powerful.

The most useful among these had to be mental capacity. It could be said that Zhou Ziyun was already walking down this path as it had everything to do with comprehension, concentration, intelligence, understanding, and memory. A person with high mental capacity would find it easier comprehending immortal Daos and understanding the laws of the world.

The strangest among these esoteric aspects had to be emotion. These included anger, sadness, joy, fear, love, and many more. Wu Qianyu seemed to have an affinity with the emotion of pain which allowed her to ignore injuries and continue fighting in desperate situations. Still, her future remained uncertain. A cultivator could spend their entire life seeking any one of these emotions and it might never develop into a Dao that could take them to the immortal realms.

Chen Wentian slowly closed the manual and glanced at Zhou Ziyun. He was a little glad that she didn't break through again. Her prior one had given him a fright. Lin Qingcheng was blazing through the Mind Focusing Realm. She was at the 7th Level already. And yet, he had a sneaking suspicion that Zhou Ziyun was going to be even faster.
