Chapter 184 Civil War for Lily? by King Forerunner!

 

     The slovenly King Mel Forerunner with his sloppy man-bun, is sitting in his throne looking out in the large chamber at the many Elders having hushed talks amongst themselves.

     His equally slutty 1st and 2nd wife he married before becoming King are at his right.

     His first wife was Elwin's mother, while his 2nd wife is a 20 year old prostitute he fell in love with and married to make babies with. However, even with every night with her, he still has not made an heir yet. His first wife is still mad at him for allowing Elwin to fight a clearly stronger opponent.

     Make no mistake, both women are as crafty and cruel as their rotten husband. In fact the ship with assassins was her idea and he just let her do it.

     The 2nd wife? Well lets just say that every important Elder in this room that supports Forerunner with zeal, is her 'Best friend', cough. Yes the King has his 2nd Queen please his loyalists, cough. Nothing gets support like a Queen on her back.

     Lily, who is not here yet, is his 3rd Queen, and of course he is waiting for the day he can officially claim her body as his own.

     Many of his maids are dressed up like her so he can fantasize. He even tried to marry her little sister when she came back from her overseas vacation to deliver the Human King his invitation. But that whore laughed at him and said she already had a lover, in front of the entire Elder Council..

     So out of obsession, he made a secret deal with Astos to draw the air-fleet far to the west, and then send a stealth-fleet to kidnap her while killing 12 elders that were invited to a private meeting about the Prince, that then trapped them in a building to be killed by the raiders. But then they got saved just like that.

     The 12 Elders keep looking over at him in disgust. They have no proof it was him but rumors are rampant these days.

     The Elf people are conflicted and confused about what the King and Elder Council are doing at the top. The breakdown of peace-talks only fueled this even more. Forerunner still does not know who leaked this to the Kingdom? (Lily. cough!)

     Dell Moonlight, the number one supporter of Forerunner, and a frequent guest of the 2nd Queen, came in front as he knelt.

     "My King, it is confirmed that early this morning, Elder Lumen Sky-breath, went to the Countess mansion to talk with her and the young Prince."

     "Did you send anyone to them as well?"

     "Not officially, but my niece works there and she will come to report to me tonight with what has been going on in the home, my King."

     Mel frowns and says.

     "We need to seize that airship at any cost! Declare it as an Elfland Artifact and make him give it to us! That thing is too powerful for a child to have."

     "I will try my King, but it will be hard to accomplish, I think."

     The Elder's eyes drifted to the 2nd Queen's long exposed-legs. Mel seeing this just says.

     "Get it done and you may stay in the VIP room for a week then, sigh."

     With a happy and lustful smile the older man says.

     "It will be done then my generous King!"

     The elder like a snake slithered over to rally votes for Mel's request. The 1st Queen says disgustedly.

     "And what about my Elwin? He was such a good boy. How dare that murderer walk freely! Don't just stop at a stupid airship, I want his head! Are you listening to me, little-earthworm?!"

     "I told you to never call me that again. See who will be entertaining an Elder next if you say it one more time!"

     "Humph! Little-earthworm, little-earthworm! If you dare make me do 2nds work, I will tell everyone about your little-shame! Bastard!"

    Finally the time came and the noon-bells could be heard. All of the Elders began going to their seat assigned to them.

     At this time the curvy Elder with entirely too much cleavage, strolls in with her wavy-white-hair a mess like she got up from a nap. But even in a mess she looked elegant. Mel says in a neutral tone, hiding his frustration with her.

     "Ariel Soft-heart, why are you late, you're holding up the court?"

     She smiled at him and ignored him, and sat in her seat looking bored. This of course pissed him off. The old king faction people are getting out of control now, especially since that brat showed up.

     The throne-room doors opened, and Lily in a long-white-dress, with a long slit for cleavage from the neck-collar, wide-open down to the belly button, but yet hid the important parts, walked in gracefully with her head held high. No one can pick out a flaw about her movements of a Royal Queen. Well she has been one for a long time.

     Her back and arms are not covered, and her long straight white-hair reaches below her wide hips. Like it was stated before, she is a one-step increase to Iris who is slowly maturing to match her mother now.

     Mel with his fanatic-eyes stands and warmly greets her.

     "Good afternoon my lovely wife!"

     Without looking at him she flatly says.

     "No it is most certainly not a good-afternoon! My little sister was almost kidnapped by a rapist and her city razed by the dark-elf-raiding party that slipped past all of our noses, like they knew how to find her. So no, I am not in the mood to chat with the King."

     Mel grinds his teeth while keeping his smile on his face, fuck why does nothing go his way? (A/N no this guy is dumber than even Alex!)

     Once again the doors of the throne-room slid open, and in walked a young late 20 something man with a soft smile and no issues moving around came in, he got everyone's notice.

     When the stranger sat in the last and most senior-seat some members were shocked to find out that this young looking elf was Elder, Lumen Sky-breath!

     "Sorry everyone, I came from Oceanside, and then had to stop by the scribe-room to make copies for everyone, let's begin the meeting."

     Forerunner knows about Moon Wine, but the tree has not produced its batch yet, and the last King Innerspring lost his Magic Slab with the remaining Moon Wine in it. So even Forerunner has not had a bottle yet. Plus he wants it to fix his body to get his fertility back up. So he asks.

      "Elder Lumen, where exactly did you get Moon Wine from?"

      "From the 11th Queen. She and I are old friends and she gave me a bottle, why?"

     Lumen is following what Kris told him to say if anyone asked. This was to raise Mel's greed.

     "That is to only be drunk by the Kings and Queens, so why did you drink it? And do you have more?"

     "Oh? Well Queen Eli is married to Prince Kris Tempest, so she gave him two bottles, and she gave me her last one. Sorry I thought as King you had the Moon Wine."

     The room started to buzz due to many of them not knowing the human Queen from Lore had married Kris. Mel ignores this and asks.

     "Kris has the only last two bottles in existence? No, I and Queen Lily need those!"

     Lumen smiles knowing Kris is messing with him so easily, and the fact Lily has already used it, went unnoticed by Mel as well.

     "Sorry King Forerunner but after you exposed his Dark Elf wife Luna, he won't be gifting you the wine. He actually planned on giving it, but you seemed to have upset him. He is only an 18 year old boy and just a child, so he is temperamental. you know how young men are, very hot headed."

     "So you talked to Prince Tempest, and what did he have to say about his trespassing of the castle and staying at Queen Lily's sisters mansion?"

     Lumen, following the plan of stirring shit up, just sighs like he does not want to repeat the bad news. But inwardly he is having fun.

     "He said he was answering the Queen's sister's distress call, and your welcome for killing off all of the dark-elf and their 100 ships for you. The Prince said he had fun. As for him staying at Countess Cali Light-breezes chambers, the two are getting married, soooooo."

     The whispers are chaotic and the curvy woman said loudly.

     "No! Are the rumors true! Is Prince Tempest really Lore as his reincarnation? Is that why she gave herself to him, Oh my goodness!"

    In fact she was told this 'rumor' just before she came in by Lumen that had already arrived and was just making a late entrance on purpose.

    Now even members of the new king faction are looking uneasy about the Lore comment. Mel nips this in the bud.

     "Silence! Kris Tempest is NOT the reincarnation of Lore. He is only in possession of the ring, robes, and the 11th Queen, Eli. He is trying to trick everyone that he is who he is not! Lily, is he Lore?"

     Queen Lily puts on a beautiful smile that would melt away all doubts, and declares with confidence.

     "The World Tree tells me, he is only an 18 year old boy, by the name of Kris Tempest. Lore is dead. No one reincarnates without Gaia's intervention."

     Forerunner feels confident that Lily is not falling for this Lore faker. Of course he is too stupid to listen to her words carefully. Lumen just smiles at her and the corner of Lily's lips ever so slightly raised then went to normal. Mel riding the wave says.

     "Lily my love, we need to put a stop to their so-called wedding, this is not a good match. your sister should join you at my side."

     COUGH! Lumen stood and had one of the guards pass out the papers to everyone. He then pulled out the official letter from Prince Tempest.

     "King Forerunner, let me read you an official letter from Prince Tempest, before you begin making plans on his lovers and wives, cough."

     This move made Mel look like a tyrant enslaving women for his harem, and he began reading as some of the Elders already had shocked faces at what they were already reading.

     "I shall shorten the long letter... [Touch any of my wives, especially Luna, and death is your only ending. No this is not a threat, but a deadly promise. The reason is, I control all Moon Elf technology, and not even the Grand Barrier will save them from my anger.] He also had a note for the Elder council... [if you participated in my death, enjoy your last days', for I will end them as well. Finally I am the leader of the Crimson Court, and if they think all of their servants and maids are loyal?] and he ended with, He-He!"

     Lilly saw 4 of the new king faction, looking a bit pale at that part of Lore's death. In her heart she wants to kill them, but she already knows they are dead.

     Forerunner looks very pissed, and the whole council is in a shouting-frenzy about Kris's threats and provocations, also the fear of the airship. The Crimson court is also a wealthy force to not be upset.

     The last kingdom to start a fight with them had more than half their top heads assassinated in one weeks time, setting their Dwarf Nation back centuries! The council could be cut in half overnight.

     "SILENCE! Prince Kris Tempest is provoking our authority, and we will not stand for this child's rampage! He will surrender to us, or he will be banished from the Kingdom!"

     Lumen was waiting for this and said.

     "So you intend on starting a Civil War over his simple words? Hmm, So you intend on messing with his women then? The people will revolt against you Forerunner and I shall not support a civil war. He said you can challenge him to a life and death duel if you personally hate him. I think this is the best option to avoid a war?"

     All of the old king faction nods to this outcome, and even a few of the new king faction. Then Lily says.

     "If you two openly fight, the common Elf will side with the person they believe to be Lore's reincarnation."

     "But you can just announce that he is fake?!"

     "The World Tree has told me to stay out of politics for now, I can only advice the Council and King on this matter."

     "Then what is your advice my Queen?"

     "Anyone who attacks Kris Tempest, will die and lose everything they possess, and no one here is exempt. So if you wish to keep what you have, make peace with him. He has already claimed Eli as his, and more will follow if you ignore my warning."

     King Forerunner was never good under pressure and made rash decisions. In fact Lily had told him no lies. His only chance for peace is to come to terms with Kris, but that still would include stepping down from the throne. This actually would have let him keep Lily as his wife. So she never tricked him in the end. Lily however is thrilled he is choosing the path of death. It's her only path to happiness.

     "Send out my orders, call back the Sky Generals airship-fleet to deal with the Prince Tempest airship. Send him a letter to surrender to the court for challenging our authority. Tell him he is banished from the Kingdom if he does not take my summons!"

     The only Elder that stood to do anything was Dell Moonlight, but he too paused seeing not one other member move from their seats to follow the King's orders. He then sat back down feeling awkward. Mel looked betrayed at all the members and yelled.

     "How dare you all not listen to my orders, I told you what to do!"

     Ariel Soft-heart stood and asked Queen Lily.

    "If we follow those orders would we also die?"

    Lily had to chase off this woman many times in the past, but she will be patient with her and answer.

    "If you believe in the foresight of the World Tree, then yes."

     Mel feeling he just got kicked in the balls by the World Tree grits his teeth then says.

     "The Prince does not own the war-criminal Duchess Carla Shadow-heart, so recover her for negotiations to free our people then. I have already sent a transmission for her return and we will get 200 of our elf people. He can't fight that!"

     Cough! Lumen stands and says. If this story is on any-other site than Scribble Hub, then it was stolen without permission!

    "He claims he has no prisoner, and a man named Mel took her as a sex-slave, according to the Crimson Court informants. Sorry he can't turn over what he does not have! Oh and he heard a man named Astos is looking for that man Mel, for raping the fiance of the Dark Elf King?! Too bad for Mel."

     Forerunner's small-brain is not following any of this bullshit, but he looks to Lily and asks.

     "Lily, what does the World Tree say?"

     Lily holds up the glowing leaf in her hand and her eyes glow, she then smiles and says to everyone.

     "Duchess Carla Shadow-heart, has stolen one of your personal ships, and has already escaped the area. So she is most definitely not in the Prince's custody, and the part About Astos looking for Mel is true, it seems she was in fact sullied by that man while the Dark Elf King witnessed it?! Oh my?"

     This was not a vision Lilly had seen before till just now, and in her heart she is shocked at Kris's terrible luck. She is fighting the urge to laugh at him.

    Forerunner knows he has to fight Kris privately now, not even his loyal council will help thanks to that damn Tree!

     In the end, the council did nothing, Lily played the King and court with the truth, and Mel needs to talk to Astos now!
