In the middle of the big bed, Klaye laid there obediently. Sometimes he looked at Vincent, who sat at the table and read some documents.

After half an hour, Vincent sighed and walked over. „Can’t you sleep?”

Klaye sat up and grabbed his hand. „I slept enough in the hospital.”

Vincent sat next to him and caressed his face. „Do you want to tell me something?”

Klaye nodded and moved closer to him. „Do you know about the longer lifespan?” he saw Vincent nodded and continued. „So... I’m not sure if I can give birth, but... can we wait for some years? Around 20?... To try to has another one? Umm... I hope to spend more time alone with you...”

Vincent hugged him and caressed his neck with his nose. „No good...”

Klaye’s body stiffened. „Uh... Then... Let’s...”

Vincent sighed and interrupted him. „The doctor said you need to rest for a month, but you really know how to make me excited... You are too cute!”

Klaye’s face turned red. He didn’t know what he did wrong, but he saw little Vincent stood up. He turned away and whispered. „I can... use my... hands...”

As the answer, Vincent gently kissed his neck and cheek.

Klaye turned back and removed Vincent’s pants. He didn’t dare to look up, or he would run away. They became lovers a long time ago and did a lot of intimate things. But he hardly did anything always Vincent served him. So it was his first time doing it and he felt ashamed.

Vincent happily watched his lover tried to find out how to serve him, but his desire just grew. He almost laughed out loud when he was Klaye widened his eyes.

Klaye blankly watched as the thing became bigger in his hands and he trembled. He felt danger and wanted to run away. He couldn’t believe something so big was in his body...

Klaye bit his lips and stayed. He didn’t know how long it lasted, but he successfully helped Vincent. He only knew his hands were weak and he felt tired. He fell asleep without caring about the mess around him.

Vincent felt helpless and sighed. He went to take a shower...

Later, when Klaye woke up, none of them mentioned this incident...

A week passed faster than Klaye thought, and it was finally the day he could go to Dedra. He was happy because he could leave the villa finally.

During this week, the New Year’s passed and he didn’t have the chance to go out and buy presents. It made him sad, but Vincent said his biggest gift was that he was alive. It made Klaye blush the whole night.

Vincent drove the car over to the hospital and made Klaye promise to call him when he wanted to go back.

Klaye sighed and watched the leaving car. Even after solving Gardena, Vincent was afraid something would happen to him. He was happy for his care, but somewhere he felt helpless. He was a man too! He could take care of himself. But he couldn’t say these words when he looked into Vincent’s eyes. He could see the worry in them. He needed to wait a little longer before he could get back his freedom.

In the hospital, Klaye went down to the underground. Vincent wanted to move Dedra’s laboratory to the surface, but Dedra refused. He loved to stay down there. Because he took in more zombies, it was better for everyone.

Klaye stood in front of the door and lifted his hand. He wanted to ask a lot of things but didn’t know where to start. It made him hesitate and knocked too gently. It was hard for him to hear. Yet the door was opened right away, and it shocked him.

The man who opened the door was angry, but his expression changed to confusion when he saw the unfamiliar person. „You are?”

Klaye watched the pale man with wide eyes and blinked. He visited Edward a lot in the past, but he didn’t remember to see any doctor with a similar appearance. He looked at the pane next to the door and he was sure he came to the right place. Hearing the hoarse voice, he suddenly had a guess. „I’m Klaye. I have an appointment with Dedra.”

„Let him in!” a familiar voice sounded, and the man stood aside.

Klaye went in and saw his friend sitting in the corner and slowly drinking something.

„I waited for you. Do you want a cup of tea? Still hot.” the man gently smiled.

Klaye nodded and went there. He accepted the cup and sat down, but his eyes remained on the man standing in the door.

He closed the door but didn’t move after it. He was so stiff he didn’t even breathe.

„Is he that zombie? What is he doing?” Klaye was confused.

„Oh. He is protecting me from a certain person.” Dedra put down his cup. „You heard about what Howard did, didn’t you?”

Klaye nodded and watched the zombie became restless. He gave up to ask more about it and chose to change the subject. „Vincent told me you helped him a lot when they couldn’t find me... Thank you very much!”

„... We are friends, aren’t we? What do you thank?” Dedra whispered.

Klaye smiled and his eyes shined. He really liked this gentle zombie king. „Then why didn’t you tell me about your power?” he teased him.

„... I didn’t know how to say. And I didn’t think the others can accept me... If you look around on this floor, almost every room became empty. They try to stay as far as they can...”

„Isn’t it because you took some zombies here...?”

„No! They just use them as an excuse.” Dedra looked into his eyes. „Klaye, I’m not blind! I can see the fear in their eyes! Even Howard is the same!” he laughed. „That day, we quarreled because I let the zombie stay here. He’s too proud and full of himself! He thought I wanted to use my power to threaten and force him to follow my commands! I felt it before too, but that time I was finally sure, he never thought about my feeling! Hahaha! I knew his personality, yet I believed in him!”

Klaye hugged the laughing doctor and caressed his back. Even if he was strong and persistent, Klaye could see he was close to breaking.

Dedra put his head on his friend’s shoulder and hugged him. He still laughed, but his tears fell. „Do you know? Every time he visited me, he never brought anything, yet that night he had a bag in his hands. I knew he wanted to do something, but I gave him one more chance. I hoped to make up with him and told him about the child... But his next step went beyond my imagination...”

Klaye didn’t know what to say and just hugged his friend. He hoped he could put all his emotions into this hug and let the crying man feel his support.

After 10 minutes, Dedra calmed down and released him. „Sorry, I didn’t know I was this depressed...” he wiped his face. „You’ll want to ask a lot of things, right? Don’t hold back! I need to think about other things!”

Klaye wanted to refuse, but after hearing Dedra’s last words, he stopped. He was a little confused and didn’t know where to start.
