Logan felt lost. If last week things had been loud and full of heated arguments, this week… began quite the opposite. He glanced at Alex by his side. The lunch bell had rung 5 minutes ago and now they walked to the cafeteria.

SInce this morning, Alex barely spoke a few words to him. If it weren't for study time at English class, they probably wouldn't have talked at all. He could tell something bothered Alex but the dude kept staring off into space that Logan found it hard to ask him about it.

He could only wait until Alex decided to tell him.

'Alex would tell him, right?' Logan thought but quickly dismissed the idea.

After getting their food, Logan followed Alex from behind. It was as if Alex couldn't even tell if he was there or not. It must be something really serious. Would it also be bad to ask about his sister? She did come all the way to their school like he requested but he forgot to thank her about it.

'Ugh, I need to be patient. Alex is clearly having a tough time and my concerns can wait till later.'

When they sat at Alex' usual table, Logan dived right in to eat his meal. He chose spaghetti this time. He always had burgers but it seemed to be Alex' preference so he considered giving it a try. Not the usual sour taste he was used to but it was good enough.

In front of him, Alex hardly touched his plate. Just pulled out a fry every once in a while to chew on. Logan began to worry since it seemed to also affect his eating habits.

"Hey, Logan" Colin greeted as he sat next to him, "Already getting wrinkles? You need to moisturize more."

"Huh?" Logan answered absentmindedly. Colin merely shook his head. Even all the way from the counter, he could spot the scrunch on Logan's eyebrows as he stared at Alex. The silence was  a rare occurrence at their table. The two could keep up the noise as much as 4 people.

"Guys!" Max hopped next to Alex, who didn't move away like he usually did, "Guys! Guys! Guys!"

"Would you stop bouncing and tell us already?" Colin scolded him.

"Don't believe anything he says." Jae said as he joined the group.

Max pointed a finger at him, "Oh, but it's true! I mean, what else could it be but love at first sight?"

"Love at first sight?" Colin asked, "Who? Jae?"

"That's right!" Max squealed excitedly, "My boy is now a man. He has been whipped!"

"I am not whipped" Jae scoffed.

"Ohohoho… then, why are you looking for this girl, huh? This mysterious Cinderella of yours?"

Jae took a bite off his spaghetti and chewed it slowly, "Isn't it natural to return someone's property?"

"Sure, it is" Max nodded, "But you could also just left it at the 'Lost and Found.' I'm sure the owner would look for it there."

"It could get stolen instead, you know."

"Oh, no, mister. That is not your reason. Your real reason is you really want to meet this girl. I have seen you look at every female we pass by which you have never done before! Face it! You are clearly smitten by her! Come on, admit it! I can even help put up posters for you to find this girl!"

Colin whistled, swallowing his food, "Wow, Jae, really? Congrats, dude. I hope you find her."

Jae groaned, "I am not interested in her. Max, shut up."

Max merely cackled in delight, "Oh? You mean to tell me her sparkling gray eyes didn't pierced through your soul and sucked it out?"

"Her what?" Logan hissed.

His sudden interruption shocked the rest. He glared at Max for answers, baring his teeth, "Where did you meet this girl?"

"Ah, dude. Right. You weren't there" Max answered as if Logan didn't look at him like he wanted to kill him, "So we were on the way to the lockers and I was telling the team about this amazing maneuver I made which led to our victory—"

"Get to the point!" Logan spat.

Max held up his hands, "Woah, chill, dude. No need to yell at me. We had been goofing around like we usually do, okay? Then, this chick came out of nowhere. She must have been running because she hit Jae really hard. We both fell when it happened. We tried to help her but the girl merely stood up and left. Haven't seen her since."

"What did she look like?"

"We couldn't see her face much since her hair covered most of it which is why Jae and I are having trouble looking for her. She surely made it hard" Max held up a finger for each point he made, "All we know is 1) she goes to this school, 2) she still wore the gym uniform even after class and 3) she has gray eyes. Oh, and that I am too good looking for her."

Logan turned to Jae, "You have her phone?"

Jae coughed, "Yeah. I kept it."

"Can I see it?" Logan held out his hand, palm up.

Jae stopped eating to look at it. He shook his head, "What? No, man. I haven't even let Max touch it."

"That's true." Max confirmed.

The scrunch on Logan's eyebrows deepened, "Why are you hiding it?"

"I don't want to lose it so I'm not showing it to anyone. Not to mention, I'm using its design and model to find its owner—especially the case. If I bring it out, others would see it and any girl can just come right up to me and say they own it."

"But it probably has a password." Logan pointed out, little by little his eyebrows turned into a monobrow.

"And have every girl who claims to type the password?" Jae explained to him, "The phone would permanently lock and that is just more trouble."

Logan closed his eyes and took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose. 'This wasn't happening' he thought, 'Please someone tell me this isn't happening again.'

He pulled the front of his twin's shirt towards him until their faces were only inches apart, "Are you really interested in this girl?"

Jae looked straight to his eyes. They looked like burning emeralds.

"I already told you I'm not." He said "Are you?"
