I climbed aboard the bus that would take me back to my apartment.

I sat down on an empty seat and glanced briefly around and stopped when I saw someone I recognized. Violet, a classmate since eighth grade and also my first crush, was sitting in the seat across from me. She didn't see me, and I looked away before she could.

The bus pulled away from the stop. It rode down the bumpy road for a while.

Then, out of nowhere, a huge truck came flying from a side-road. The bus driver slammed on the brakes, but it was too late. The truck smashed into the bus and everything went black.

"Where am I. . ?" I said, head pounding.

"You are in the Realm of Souls," A voice behind me said. I whirled around to see a tall, curvy woman standing behind me. Her eyes sparkled with mischeif. "And because you are fated with my daughter, I have to also send you to the new world. Nice to meet you, Lain Kanoari."

"How do you know my name?" I asked.

"I'm the Goddess of Nature," The woman said. "I've been watching over you."

"Why?" I asked. "That's creepy."

"Did you not hear me before?" The woman said, her volume rising. "You are fated to be with my daughter. Of course I'd watch over the person who's going to marry her."

"What do you mean, fated with?" I asked, confused.

"Never you mind," The woman said, smiling evilly. "better get moving on. I'll see you. . . eventually." And then she snapped her fingers and everything around me went black.

First chapter of the new story, let's go! I got the idea for this while mowing my lawn (idk why) and decided to start writing. I hope any of you readers will like it!
