When I woke up, the dark forest I was in was no longer dark, now it was just a lifeless moor covered with mountains of ashes.

When I tried to get up I felt my body shaking and uncomfortable, I took a look at it as it was, maybe I had burned myself with those strange black flames, but my surprise was so big that I had to hold my breath, my body grew incredibly around twenty meters my body was like a lizard man and my scales that used to be smooth and simple now protruded uneven spikes from my body making it look deformed and now they were not just black either, now there were a few scales that were turning crimson.

That surprised me, but it was due to eating my uncle's magic stone, but I cannot remember anything about his past, I can only remember about his magic and battle techniques from when he was in human form, I was concerned about this and quickly checked what changed in me.

Two years? I don't know if that time is big or small, so if there are no individuals with more than one element, I wouldn't know how important this is.

POV of Johnathan.

Adventurers range 'A', our group is range 'S', while we investigate the forest where we started as adventurers, which was now only ashes with a few trees that are about to fall down because of some strange black flames, our 'Hunter' Nick saw an unusual scene, a young girl in bad clothes.

At first we thought she was a survivor, but there is no village or settlement nearby and the color of her hair was black, so we risked trying to kill her with a sneak attack, to our surprise we easily avoided the arrow that was undetectable by sight and sound thanks to the magic in her.
As she saw us, we decided that Lydia our 'Mage' will throw the signal to the army that accompanies the adventurous explorers, the estimated time of arrival would be about one hour, my group is composed of six of us me as leader:

Tank - Johnathan - Steel.

Hunter - Nick - Wind.

Mage - Lydia - Fire.

Healer - Jenny - Light.

Swordsman - Terry - Earth.

Monk - Nereus - Steel.

We approached the young woman and I stood in front of her, when I attacked her with my great sword her movements were clumsy and senseless and with that I managed to brush her face, her flesh was hard like that of a High Ogre with the appearance of a red line on her face she was surprised and raised her thin and delicate arm, from one moment to the next it grew like that of an Ogre with black claws that absorbed the light.

When under her arm at great speed I could only feel a feeling, Danger, I immediately released my shield with which I tried to protect myself and jumped backwards.

The collision of the arm and the shield ended up on the ground and with a horrible explosion a cloud of dust was raised.

"BEWARE!"

While I was distracted Jenny screamed and in an instant a barrier of light appeared in front of me, dark spears collided with the barrier, I know that light is stronger than darkness, but the barrier immediately cracked and I jumped back aside to avoid the spears.

While I was dodging Nick and Lydia, I was throwing magic and arrows at that monster, when the cloud of scattered dust was left, what was left was the shield with a big hole in it, the shield was made of the strongest steel, Adamantine, but it was pierced with one blow, only the Heroes would be capable of such a feat.

Most importantly, he disappeared or ran away, if he had such power it is impossible to kill him with something so simple.
If he ran away it would be the best thing for us, but if he continues to live he could cause a disaster on a larger scale.

With that high-pitched scream we all turned around and there where Jenny was a big jaw is chewing on her head to her torso, it came out of Jenny's shadow, blood was spilling from the mouth of the beast.

When it finished chewing and swallowing Jenny's body a distorted voice came out.

"I got rid of the discomfort of the light, unexpectedly the humans taste good."

With those words the rest of the body began to come out of the shadows.

"Ah, it can't be!"

"Impossible!"

"What the hell!"

What came out was a creature that is only told in fantasy and history, a Dragon.

Half a hundred feet tall, its back was full of black spikes along with bat-like wings, the body was like that of a Wyvern that has two legs, but this one has four with sharper claws than a moment ago.

Not knowing what to do, I just watch the dragon as I look for a chance to escape.

"They're all the same, just looking to escape without worrying about the 'friend' who just died, right?"

The dragon spoke again with a mocking tone and with the words he said I turned my gaze to my companions who were doing the same, he is right, but what is wrong with that is that I only want to live.

I looked back at the dragon and my surprise was that it was gone.

"Don't worry, you'll all go to the same place"

The voice came from above where the dragon shrank to the size of a person and released in the air as if a platform was there, it went towards Nick who couldn't react in time was pierced in the neck by the claws, pulling his claws out of Nick's neck also ripped his head off.

"Have a catch hahaha"

With a vicious laugh he threw Nick's head at Nereo who was still stunned by the sudden events, Nereo rejected it falling in front of Lydia who started screaming, then the dragon transformed again into a young girl with a cumin dagger towards Lydia.

"Why do you disown her? It's your 'friend's' head, you're supposed to mourn him.

Lydia: "A... that... is that..."

"Annoying"

Apparently tired of Lydia's babbling, she cut his throat and started walking towards the two of us when

*galloped*

"Are you all right? We've received your signal."

The horses and the voice were from the army of the capital, the time we won was about ten minutes, how could they get there so fast?

Nereo: "Mr. Commander, that young lady over there is a monster, don't be trusted by her looks"

Nereo suddenly reported that it was the girl.

"Come on, don't panic, I'm just a newborn baby."

(Newly born? We were fighting a baby, no, that was a massacre more than a fight)

Commander: "Don't worry, we'll take care of it, we'll take care of it!"

With the commander at the head, the soldiers charged towards it.

Nereo: "We can survive, right?

As he laughed he began to transform himself into a dragon, he had taken the distance of a hundred yards that he thought was to start running away, but it was a mistake.

As he transformed the horses were faster and were about to arrive when their shadows began to hold them and the horses and of course he did not forget us.

When he finished transforming he lay down a little bit on the ground and opened his mouth, the magicians that accompany the knights turned pale, I can use some magic too, however, I am not able to feel as clear as the magicians.

A dark ball started to grow in his mouth, when it finished growing suddenly he closed his mouth.

(This is... no doubt it's the [Dragon's Breath])

With that one thought he opened his mouth and I was swallowed up by absolute darkness.
