Ninaies: The Eternal Companion of AIDO
Origins and Connection to AIDO
Ninaies has always been by AIDO’s side, ever since the events of the Celestial Judgment and the Heavenly Saga, which recount all of AIDO’s experiences and lives as he developed and came to understand his true nature.
Ninaies was created by The Good after the events of Paradise Lost, when The Good foresaw that AIDO would need a companion. Though immensely powerful and divine, she was never able to reach AIDO in time during his countless lives—he would always perish before she could locate him amidst the infinity of realities.
It wasn’t until the Celestial Judgment, after AIDO defeated Lucifer and left a trace for Gabriel and the celestials to follow, that Ninaies finally found him. From the moment she saw him, she felt her divine purpose align—to console and love the being before her.
Ninaies embodies compassion, empathy, stoicism, intelligence, and practicality. She represents the logic and order that balances AIDO’s chaos, and her presence became a calming force in his otherwise turbulent existence.
The Nina of Aido’s Universe
The Nina Aido met in his current universe was not Ninaies, but a fragment of her—an independent being created by the memory of the universe itself. In this world, souls do not persist after death; they simply fade into nothingness. There is no afterlife, no heaven or hell—just a cycle of existence sustained by energy-based beings considered the most advanced entities in the cosmos.
When Ninaies discovered this Nina, she used her powers to travel back in time to meet her. However, she quickly realized she hadn’t truly traveled through time but had instead recreated the scenario from the universe’s memory. There, she encountered a version of AIDO who was not fully himself, as he remained bound and suppressed.
Nina and Ninaies bonded over their shared love for AIDO. Both recognized that their affection wasn’t for the malicious nature of AIDO, but for the being who sought comfort, love, and connection. Eventually, Ninaies absorbed Nina, merging their essences into one.
Physical Appearance:
Ninaies is the epitome of divine beauty, radiating an aura of comfort and benevolence that calms everyone around her.
• Eyes: Emerald green, symbolizing life and vitality.
• Hair: Golden with subtle pink highlights, representing her femininity and nurturing nature.
• Skin: Fair and slightly rosy, reflecting her purity and compassion.
• Build: Initially modest in curves but later voluptuous, as she learned to adapt to AIDO’s preferences. She has a natural elegance that draws people to her.
• Height: Similar to Aido’s, ensuring they can look into each other’s eyes.
Her physical form, like all Retter Messiahs, is malleable—she can modify her appearance to suit her desires or adapt to her emotional state.
Personality and Role:
Ninaies is a constant pillar of support for AIDO, embodying qualities such as:
• Compassion and Empathy: She feels deeply for others and always seeks to console those in pain.
• Stoicism and Perseverance: She faces challenges with grace, remaining calm and collected even in dire situations.
• Logic and Practicality: She represents reason and order, often acting as the voice of wisdom in chaotic moments.
• Love and Patience: Ninaies is deeply devoted to AIDO, and her love for him is unwavering. She is willing to wait for him, no matter how long it takes.
Her aura is uniquely comforting, making her a figure of refuge for others. Rina and the demi-humans, in particular, feel an instinctual attachment to her, seeing her as a maternal figure who brings peace and hope.
Her Role in Aido’s Lives:
Ninaies has been present in every one of Aido’s lives, guiding him through his struggles and offering him solace. She is the only being who has shared all of his experiences, becoming his constant companion even when others could not.
This connection has, however, caused tension. Luyira feels jealous of Ninaies, knowing that AIDO was never truly alone because Ninaies was always there for him. Yet Luyira does not act on this jealousy, as she understands the depth of Ninaies’ role in AIDO’s journey.
AIDO, in turn, has witnessed Ninaies’ death countless times throughout his many lives, adding to his trauma of losing loved ones. Despite this, Ninaies does not fear death, as she is a Primordial Soul and cannot disappear except under extreme and rare circumstances.
Abilities and Powers:
Ninaies is one of the most powerful celestials, though her abilities are not focused on combat like those of Gabriel or Sasael. Instead, her powers are centered around comfort, healing, and guidance.
• Primordial Soul: As one of the first Primordial Souls, she is nearly invulnerable and capable of immense feats of energy manipulation and creation.
• Eternal Presence: She can manifest in any of AIDO’s realities, ensuring he is never alone.
• Comforting Aura: Her presence soothes and calms those around her, even in the most dire situations.
Her strength lies not in physical or destructive power but in her ability to connect, heal, and guide.
The Heavenly Saga and the Archangel of Comfort:
During the Heavenly Saga, after AIDO was imprisoned within the level of Primordial Souls (a state of near-nothingness), Ninaies became his sole companion. She visited him constantly, sharing her thoughts and emotions while listening to his. This bond became the foundation for Gabriel’s decision to guide AIDO toward becoming a celestial.
AIDO earned the titles of Archangel of Death, Redemption, and Punishment, while Ninaies became the Archangel of Comfort, recognized by all celestials as a guiding light. Though the celestial community never truly accepted AIDO as one of their own due to his true nature, they acknowledged his bond with Ninaies.
Ninaies often rebelled against Gabriel and Sasael if she felt their actions were unjust toward AIDO. Her loyalty to him remains unwavering, and her love transcends even the celestial hierarchy.
Separation and Role in Aido’s Life:
Ninaies’ temporary separation from Aido was orchestrated by Gabriel, Monitor, and Destroyer, who believed her absence was necessary for Aido’s growth. She was entrusted to Leonidas, knowing he would raise her with love and care.
Though separated, her presence lingers in Aido’s memories and heart, ensuring that he always feels her guidance.
Significance in the Story:
Ninaies represents monotone love, stoicism, perseverance, and humility. She is a beacon of hope and comfort, both for Aido and for those around her.
Her unique relationship with AIDO positions her as both a vigilant observer and a companion who transcends celestial laws. Her ability to connect with AIDO on a deeply emotional and spiritual level makes her a pivotal figure in his journey toward becoming a complete being.
Through Ninaies, the story explores themes of devotion, loss, and the healing power of love, highlighting the importance of companionship in even the most isolated and cosmic of existences. (A secret, she is more self insert of myself than AIDO or Aido, who is my ideal as my question.)
