Rina: The Optimistic Warrior and the Radiant Soul

Origins and Connection to AIDO

Rina is a young Primordial Soul who has crossed paths with AIDO across multiple lifetimes. She is, in essence, Ramona, an earlier version of herself whose soul instinctively sought out its love: both AIDO and Ninaies. Through her interactions with them, Rina’s nature began to evolve—changing from a tomboyish, rough individual to someone more playful, carefree, and lighthearted.

Her new identity as Rina was born from this transformation, with her name reflecting her connection to both Ramona (R) and Nina (Ina). At times, her name has been pronounced Lina or Mina, but the essence of Rina has always remained the same.

In her many lives, her connection to AIDO, Ninaies, and Alidia grew stronger. These three souls seemed destined to always find each other, existing both for AIDO and for each other. Because of this, Rina, Ninaies, and Alidia share a profound bond, with Alidia naturally assuming the role of the eldest and guiding the others, while Rina embraces her position as the youngest and most carefree.

Physical Appearance

Rina’s physical form is as captivating as it is unique, a testament to her demi-human heritage and her desire to attract Aido’s attention.

Height: Petite but slightly taller than Alidia, standing at approximately 1.55 meters.
Demi-Human Features:

  • Raccoon Tail: Brown with a darker reddish hue at the tip.
  • Raccoon Ears: Perched atop her head, giving her a playful and mischievous look.
  • Facial Markings: A reddish mask-like pattern around her warm brown eyes, resembling a raccoon’s natural markings.
    Body:
  • Bust: Larger and more voluptuous than the other girls, yet firm and proportional to her figure.
  • Hips: Wide and alluring, complemented by her slim arms and shapely, sensual legs.
  • Skin Tone: A warm, sun-kissed complexion that highlights her vibrant energy.
Hair: Shoulder-length, brown with reddish highlights, adding to her unique beauty.

Rina’s appearance, while naturally attractive, was further refined as she grew older. Observing AIDO’s preferences, she decided to become even more sensual, exaggerating certain features to stand out. Aido appreciates her confidence and allure, though her striking beauty has sometimes brought her misfortune by attracting predatory attention.

Past Experiences and Trauma

Despite her cheerful exterior, Rina has endured significant hardships. Her beauty, particularly her sensual aura, has often made her a target for unwanted advances, far surpassing even the allure of Deboner, a succubus.

In a dream life, Rina’s allure led to a traumatic incident that required Xenos’ intervention. In her current life, she nearly fell victim to kidnapping and attempted violation by other demi-humans, who sought to sell her as a slave.

It was during this dark period that Rina met Ninaies, whose natural comforting aura and shared understanding of suffering brought solace to her. Ninaies offered her companionship without judgment, even as Rina struggled with her identity as a hairless cub, a demi-human without fur. This bond changed Rina’s life, giving her the courage to embrace who she was and break free from the shadows of her past.

Role in the Demi-Human Tribes

Rina grew up as an outcast, often clinging to her mother’s skirts for comfort. However, her life took a turn when she was welcomed into Leonidas’ tribe, where her hairless appearance was no longer a source of shame. Inspired by Ninaies and Leonidas, Rina trained under Sacreblue, a demi-human elder with rodent characteristics who practiced a rare form of ninjutsu passed down through tribes for survival.

Training and Strength:

  • Under Sacreblue’s guidance, Rina proved herself to be stronger than most male demi-humans, rivaling Ninaies in ability and surpassed only by Leonidas.
  • Her skills extended to the use of heavy weaponry, including anti-tank rifles—a callback to her past life as Ramona.

When Sacreblue passed away at the age of 97, a miraculous age for nomadic demi-humans, Rina honored his teachings by incorporating his wisdom into her life. She often shares his lessons with Ninaies, keeping his memory alive while showcasing her own talents.

Personality and Traits

Rina is a vibrant contradiction, blending lighthearted playfulness with hidden depths of strength and intelligence.

Optimism and Cheer: Rina’s boundless energy and joy brighten even the darkest moments. She takes pride in making others smile, acting as a ray of sunshine for her companions.
Maternal Instincts: Despite her carefree demeanor, Rina has a strong maternal side, especially when it comes to protecting children.
Fearlessness and Valor: After overcoming her traumatic past, Rina has grown fearless, though she is careful to avoid situations that make her uncomfortable.
Hidden Intelligence: While she presents herself as a bubbly “airhead,” Rina is far from foolish. She is surprisingly intelligent and efficient, often catching others off guard with her sharp thinking and resourcefulness.

Rina’s sensuality is a key part of her identity. She enjoys dressing provocatively to attract Aido’s attention, but she despises being viewed as an object by others. Those who have tried to take advantage of her, such as Brayan, have faced dire consequences. While she harbors a deep hatred for Brayan’s past actions, she understands that he regrets them deeply, though she keeps her distance.

Connection to AIDO and Her Role in the Fusion Process

Rina holds a unique place in AIDO’s journey. She was one of the six chosen to grow alongside Aido, successfully undergoing the fusion process with AIDO prior to the current events of the story. Her selection was approved by the Celestial Council, the Seven Infernal Princes, and The Good, though few understand why she was chosen.

Secrets of the Fusion Process:

  • Only The Good, Gabriel, and Lucifer know the full truth behind Rina’s fusion. While Lucifer was not informed directly, he deduced the truth on his own.

Rina represents good deeds, optimism, joy, relaxation, youth, and bravery. Her fusion with AIDO highlights her unyielding loyalty and her intrinsic connection to him.

Significance in the Story

Rina’s role extends beyond being a cheerful companion. She is a symbol of resilience and growth, a character who has faced adversity and emerged stronger, ready to fight for what she believes in.

Representation of Love and Friendship: Her connection to Aido, Ninaies, and Alidia represents the enduring power of love and friendship across lifetimes.
Aido’s Anchor: Rina’s lighthearted nature provides balance to Aido’s internal struggles, reminding him to find joy even in the face of cosmic challenges.
Protector and Warrior: As a skilled fighter and maternal figure, Rina protects those she loves while embracing her sensuality and individuality.

Through Rina, the story explores themes of healing, courage, and self-acceptance, showcasing her journey from a tomboyish outcast to a confident, radiant soul deeply connected to Aido and her companions.
