As usual for Petrichor, characters relatable even at their most alien, and fluid, blunt and natural dialogue. While some sections feel a bit rushed, nothing that can't be expected from an unedited story - and the relationship between the protagonists feels truly interesting, with potential for complexity and depth.
I wish the story gave the characters a bit more space to develop themselves and their relationships - but on the other hand, this is not really unlike what a somewhat anxious person under stress would do. Waiting for more!
