It's not revealed in the story but it's the starting point for everything in the universe, all flows that reverse head to The Centre World.

'The World'

A brand new VRMMO just hitting the market in Beta Test.

Only a very few people have been able to get invited to the beta with many invites attracting offers of over $10,000 that is quickly climbing.

Our main character has acquired a beta test and experiences the world, finding out it's very hands off. There's no inventory, there's no chat function or really anything, the only way you'd know it's a game is from all the prompts and system information that appears before your eyes.

The world is divided into 5 different continents that are separated by huge oceans with the largest

landmass being in the very centre of the world and 4 smaller ‘islands’ that are

still bigger than Eurasia surrounding it in each cardinal direction.

Each continent is divided into regions, with the central area having 7000 regions and each of the other continents having 3000-5000 each, they are mostly divided into countries with your spawn region decided on that. i.e. Australia will spawn on the Eastern most 'island' continent.

1. Why do his eyes change?

The 'red sky event' at the beginning was a crystal that contains an AI hivemind from another universe, responsible for the 'aliens' that are invading our universe.

These 'AI' are controlled by a primary AI and 'subroutines' that are several subdued races from previous universe's that it has been in.

His eyes change as different AI take over control of his body or parts of his body, helping him but their overall objective is to 'subdue' his mind and integrate it into the hivemind, using his body as a method to avoid the 'universal laws' that will strike them down if they act outside of a 'native body'.

'little White' is the main AI that is responsible for everything.

2. Jack's Master, White's 'father'?

He's a powerful person that has left various legacies in various universes with wisps of his consciounsness attached to them.

Jack found one of these wisps and it was this powerful person's cultivation technique that can integrate almost anything within it.

It's not actually 'little White's father, the AI just thinks that he is because she has seen him numerous times before and thinks that he created her, it's not logical but it's a flaw of the AI.

3. Why does he have special abilities within the 'game world'?

The AI has found one of the 'treasure pearls' that is the 'The Secret World Online' before, they know all the tricks that they use so it's acting as a relay between Jack's body and the game while having sort of backdoor admin access to the world, it can't do anything major to the world but it can sort of act as a HUD and change Jack personally.

The AI is able to redirect the internal energy contained within their 'crystal' but this is limited.

4. How does the AI know so much information?

It just has that ability initially but it uses a lot of power, this has since changed to utilizing Jack's, so far unused, 'Divine Sense'.

5. Why does his body disappear?

His body is taken to a special room that exists in the interface between the AI and the 'treasure pearl', this is the crystal room.
