Characters
Xuiying
A power female (yin) spirit born from a mountain chain. She loves her blue flower trees and her little fairy children. Her favorite pass time is watching humans and imitating them. When she was kicked off the mountains, she traveled all along the West side of the continent.
Shu Fu Jing
Son of the Royal Family Shu. His father was Shu Yu Rong, oldest child of a Favored Concubine of the then ruling Emperor. Fu Jing lost his family to assassinations disguised as fire, disease, and misfortune. He wandered the streets until he was found by Xuiying.
Ya Xuilan
The body that Xuiying took over to become human. Ya Xuilan was sickly from birth and died peacefully with Xuiying watching over her. When she had died, Xuiying used half of her power to revive and heal the girl's body and place herself in it.
Shu Lan Jing
The only son of Fu Jing and Xuiying/Xuilan and Crown Prince. He is half fairy and can see the supernatural... if he wants.
Location
Blue Flower Mountain
The name given to a long mountain chain that starts in the far north and ends in the seas to the south. It's so massive it splits the continent in half, forcing merchants and travelers to go around it via the sea to the south. It got it's name because of the unique trees that grow there, they glow blue at night.
This is a lovely little story. Fairly straight-forward and predictable, but done well. Some tragedy in the sibling relation & then some romance later on. However, I think the story really shines as a sort of prologue for the 'Emperor of Blue Flower Mountain' by the same author. It is great fun seeing some details or side things being fleshed out there, or knowing how things are developing elsewhere.I think the stories are set in some Xianxia style world, but none of that really matters as it just follows the lives of these sibling mountain spirits as they try to deal with the results of their fallout and then learn to live in the world that is.

A beautiful story!
It's a bit like a mixed bag of candy, you get a bit of everything, then you get the last candy in the bag and it's beautiful and sweet!
I recommend this story to anyone that want a shorter story with a full filling ending.
