People have always dreamed of going back in time. All their regrets, all their grievances, everything could be sorted out if only they went back.
Shesmu wouldn't.
He always forged ahead, damn the odds. He was proud of what he'd accomplished—captain of the most legendary team in Ashes of Gods. But, most importantly, he'd found a loving wife and daughter—until he hadn't.
One morning, Shesmu woke up ten years in the past. His friends and achievements were gone. His beloved Sophie never knew him. Worst of all, leaving him drowning in an ocean of despair, his daughter Eva was no more.
With the memory of her laugh haunting his sleep, Shesmu received a letter, sender unknown—an invitation to meet in Ashes of Gods.

So far the book has been very enjoyable. Even if it is a little early for a proper full review there are certain elements that already seem clear to me.
The characters seem to be fleshed out right of the bat, the author seems to be really good at fleshing out characters as I quickly got a good idea of their personalities.
Lastly there is the world building. I already had a good idea what the world was like after the first chapter and I'm really happy with it. As someone who loved The King's Avatar I am looking forward to reading this novel further!

If the novel was a mouse and I was a cat... Not that you have any way of telling whether I am one or not... I would play, before eating the mouse. You can't blame me!
MEOW
Read this story and follow the epic search for the gatcha spawn that is a loli lost... The main character has an epic friend called Allen and he is even better than a best friend, he is also loved by the author (write slash fic).
Now that the REEE part of the review is done let us take a look at them stats!
Worldbuilding 5 -extends even outside the game
Characters 5 -too many and too flashy, Allan makes me feel weird... Already gonna fall into the story
Main character 5 -not a japanise MC, has/had a daughter Eva, he's calm, badass, a hunk? (golden eyed purple haired one in the cover pic) and will hopefully win at gatcha games...
Writing 5-the meter broke
Updates 5-solid length of chapters, but as always chapters will never be enough, it's a great story
Idea-4 needs more loli/-s (P.S. I miss Eva T-T), still waiting for the monster hunt to begin at chapter 8, prologue gives a big pic at it and makes one wish for more! Gib me my fix!
Overall-5 out of 5

If you're looking for a well-written and gripping story, this could be the one!
The premise of the story is promising, we have someone who didn't want to be sent into the past. I repeat, did not want to be sent into the past. If that doesn't spell an interesting tale, I don't know what will.
This story introduces a character that surprises me, or rather a person that is unlike most I've encountered in this genre. Instead of the typical young man, we are introduced instead to an adult capable of mature emotion and thought processing. Its quite surreal, something that sets it apart.
And to finish the icing on top of this well-made story is the author's writing style and imagination. It's what makes this good idea and solid characters into a great and compelling story. The premise is good, character is great and the author gives them a wonderful backdrop that is an entirely unique one of its own.
Needless to say, here is my praise!
