This story has an interesting concept and a good beginning, however chapter by chapter the story becomes worse until for me, it was unbearable to read further. I will go into reason how the author, in my opinion, ruined the story.
The main character himself is a f**king moron. He once said that as a tree he has to look more into the future than the present, which I agree with. Does he do this? F**k no. He is such a narrow-minded idiot that can barely accomplish a thing. It's a miracle that he has survived up to this point.
He for no reason protects and trusts 7? Elves for no reason whatsoever. I don't know the exact number because a few of them are so forgettable that when they were mentioned later in the story my first thought was, 'Who'? There are so many instances in this story where 'TreeTree' acts like a f**king idiot, that if I were to point them all out I might have write an essay. One of them I will focus on is New Freeka.
The dynamic between the two is simple, the MC is a ret*rd tyrant. When they first came I somewhat understood the choices he was making, but later on they made no sense at all. When New Freeka was struggling to start the main character made no move to help. That's no problem I suppose. When a giant blizzard came and they were freezing and staving to death he still did nothing, oh wait, he hoarded all his potatoes. Give them away for free? F**k no. However, the main character needed a lot of resources for certain upgrades. It is such a hard thought to, I don't know, do some sort of exchange. He gives food and any warmth he can provide, they give resources. He could also stress the fact that this would not become a regular thing. But nope, he instead demands the resources.
The other thing that dragged this story through the mud were the side characters. They suck. The worst were the two cunts. Meela and Alexis. The 7 elves from before were bad enough but these two? They ruined the story in my opinion. Meela at the start was very good, and even her soul form at the start was kinda good, only saying very few words. But she was ruined in the span of like 4 chapters. She became a lazy, useless waste that did more harm than good. The only reason she stayed with the MC was to repay him for saving her. However she only managed to do one very small good thing, something that the MC himself would have come up with soon enough. Oh, she also destroyed most of the forest.
Now Alexis. From the start she was a bitch who only knew to be constantly against the MC for literally no reason. Even after he saved Meela, the thanks he gets? Complete distrust. After she f**ks off for a while, she returns in the form a fiery monster. This was Meela's fault, then again Meela just wanted to help her friend. So after laying waste to the forest she is finally defeated by the MC. She tries one last act, of attempting to take over the body and soul of TreeTree. She fails and is instead inside him as a soul like Meela. You would think that he would try to get rid of her? Nope. By the way, they also can read his mind. They stick around being annoying, and probably never go away. I stopped reading after he gave her control of some biolab sh*t.
Overall, it has a cool concept, but the author ruined it.

The story started off good but got worse over time (especially the MC decision). The MC started off ok but got dumber and dumber over time.

I personally do not like the novel, Tree of Aeons. But I have persevered to chapter 20+ to fully state my opinions on the novel.
First of all, the characters feel 2D. There is almost no personality to them, and sometimes they feel as if they only exist to exist. The way they interact could also be called as awkward and stiff. And sometimes, it feels as if they have no emotions at all.
The plot is vague and unclear, and almost feels nonexistent. And once you do get a grasp of it, it seemingly slips out of you're hands, Leaving you confused. This may just be a problem with me though.
The concept of the novel is interesting, and if executed properly I think it would've been a great novel. As I have not seen a lot of novels portraying the MC as a tree.
All in all, I think the author has a lot to improve on. But that doesn't mean that they cannot improve. All writers have a lot of potential, and I feel as if they just need to grab onto it.
So, I hope that the author continues his work diligently so that he can continue improving.

Incredible. Truly a breathtaking story about reincarnating into a monster. The author's writing improves after each chapter as well. I look forward to your future works.

In my opinion it is an extremely well written Kingdom Building Story. The fact that the MC is a Tree is a interesting idea aswell.

What a story, with such a unique perspective (human-turn-immortal's perspective), a good never-ending battle environment, and the dynamic changing of the surrounding of the MC, really make this story feels so different than others.
I think there is nothing like a filler story for this one. Enjoy every chapter to the fullest even in the early chapters MC's psychology feels a bit weird, as the story advances it will be really, really, really good.

A Very good story about how a tree can be OP.

It's supremely captivating, there are very few problems with this story be it grammar, world background, character depth and interactions. One thing that ppl complain about is TreeTree being... too naive in a way. And well, I say TreeTree evolves with time. Being less and less naive, having more fleshed out plans and being proactive (which is surprising for a tree :/)

Amazing. The story really pulls you in. The story is well-balanced so you don't feel excessive in any ways. Pace is good enough, and so are the viewpoints of other characters.
