I love the world building on this story. Author takes the time to develop the "how/why" magic works. Lots of politics and philosophical wonderings as well. Author is really good at writing fight scenes een though t

Honestly kinda baffled how popular this story is. I have done a lot of reading on SH and RR and this is by far the most over rated story I’ve come across. That does not mean it’s terrible. It’s just not good. The fact 73% of people gave it 5/5 is... suspicious to say the least.

The story and setting are a fun idea overall but the writing is amateurish at best. The fantasy setting has potential but the writing lacks any descriptions on the characters or settings so the story more feels explained rather than being a part of the story yourself. The dialogue is clunky and doesn’t flow. The characters have zero development and exist only for the plot. The MC is inconsistent in his world view and subsequent actions. The story uses video game aspects like most fantasy isekai with status boards and skills, however the concept of the skills almost becomes meaningless to the MC because so many skills are introduced that will not have any relevance on the story and are often not even explored or even explained. The plot feels like it’s building towards.. something, and it kind of gets you invested in the story. But it is very slow moving.

This is the kind of story you pick up back up whenever you don’t have anything better to read. It rides of the coat tails of the generic isekai genre and uses level systems to pull in the reader, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s just not great.  It’s driving force is the bit of world building it has and the feeling of the story building towards something.. however slow that is. It’s an isekai with kingdom building which is always fun and there is a lot of chapters so you can really sink your teeth into it.

    Absolutely brilliant.

Greate and interesting story. Characters are well developed. Plot is not predictable and bland. The writing style is fun. The only problem with the novel is the Synopsis tbh, It doesn't describe how amazing the story really is.

To be honest the first few chapters were kind of iffy, and I really doubted if I could stand catching up to the current chapters. Having nothing else to do and being bored out of my mind, I tried it, and am not feeling an ounce of regret. Superb feel good story, it's a really chill novel for a lazy day. Not much intense action, cause the MC is OP, though I do wish he was a bit more active.

Only thing I'd point out is that the story starts out slow. Basically a word brick of really inconsequential things but after that it's a good read.

I greatly enjoyed the book. The MC isn't a genius, but he isn't meant to be, he is a person stuck as a tree nothing more.

I never thought that a tree could be a hero, but this story makes it believable. Instead of growing bitter, the MC shows he is a good tree spirit, and helps, rather than hold a grudge. There were times when he could have let his bitterness take him over, but he chose to keep a level head.

The support characters are given personalities, even the ones who end up dead in a couple of years. The MC tries to save as many lives as he can. Yet, I think he knows that the cycle is set. Death comes, more children die in the real world, and the demon lord is defeated.

Yet, can the tree spirit have a final showdown, with the final demon lord? Fingers crossed for such an ending.

The grammar early on is very poor for the first 100 chapters, which are incredibly long fyi. It does improve significantly later on, but it's really too little too late for any grammar snob. Luckily it's still largely readable at its worst though.

Was quite a lot different than what I expected. As many other reviews have said the MC is abnormally stupid at first, but it is for a good reason and he eventually becomes much smarter. The story takes some rather unexpected turns at certain points and the world building is excellent. The author has said that he struggles with writing the story due to all the side characters and things going on in the background. There are many situations where something that seems like it could be useful or interesting is shown and then forgotten for dozens of chapters, only to turn out it had actually been forgotten, and then another dozen chapters later is shoe horned back into the story with an explanation on what's going on with it. Even right now there are things that showed up before chapter 100 that only very occasionally get a passing mention every 30 to 40 chapters. Overall, it is by far one of the best stories on here that I have read.

This is the first time I'm writing a review so it's probably not good.

A masterpiece, in my opinion. It is one of the stories here in ScribbleHub that I read in the beginning and finished till the latest chapter, which means that it caught my attention. At first I read it because I'm curious, but now I realized why this series is one of the most popular stories here.

The plot is great, a lot of time skip, especially in the beginning but it did not affect the story, it is actually the reason why I read it. Then, the power system is so broad, and confusing but still great, because the universe is vast so it is understandable.

It is a story about a tree that becomes stronger as time passed. Perhaps that's the reason I was caught because the MC is non-human. Anyway, I hope the author can be motivated by this humble review.
