This story is probably dead, but it is far better than the title would indicate. Speaking of the title, it should be "Slave Company", so please, please, please, fix the typo. The main character is just shy of amoral, but by the same token he isn't vicious or evil for no reason, which allows the reader to back him, despite his nature. He isn't heroic, but neither is out to do harm. He is just out for himself and doesn't do anything dumb along the way. I think this is an excellent take on a character that would otherwise fall into a variety of edgelord cliches.I recommend reading if you can do your own mental editing. There is a lot of word misuse, awkward sentences, and bad grammar due to the writer being a non-English native.
