God had blessed everyone, and he spread his beauty to all. At least that was what the preachers that came to the orphanages said. Where was the beauty and strength that Lucian was supposed to have gotten?
Alone, frail, miserable, and waiting for the next day to come until he dies of old age, or the beatings from the kids at his high school, Lucian sits. There is nothing good in his life, and he doubts that there shall ever be. When an everyday occurrence causes an extraordinary circumstance to occur, Lucian finds himself a prisoner, being escorted in a wagon to only God knows where. The world outside is ancient, and dark.
Despite it all, he notices that a tiny box appears, hovering over the air, with only the words, "Race: Human," and "Quest: Survival." Hope.
"The Red Emperor" follows the mythical journey of Lucian as he finds his footing in this new world, full of misery, death, and hardships, but also beauty, love, and goodness.
