Even in the 24th century, being trans, can be... complicated. Even more so, for Luna and Sol. The Supervillain Pidge (Luna) from the lower districts, and the superhero Cricket (Sol) from the upper districts are nemeses, college classmates, and unfortunate mutual crushes. All heightened by the pressures of their world, a hidden past and growing inequity, breaking at the seams. Cracking and rusting, like glass and steel.
