Troy Armitage knows that he was someone else before his birth in 1989. Yet, that didn't help him much when he was dealt a bad hand in life. A chance encounter led him to the path that would make him the biggest superstar in the world.
It is a little of what I consider. Wishfullfiling. Meaning the MC is capable and does not face to many hinders. But that is enjoyable. It also does not mean the MC does not put in the effort nor does his foreknowledge help much. It just means that his path is a little smooth and fast paced. Which is something I like since then things are actually happening instead of lingering on a single thing.
Two Things to note.
First. Make sure to read to chapter 6 or 10 before making a decision and judgment of the novel. There is nothing wrong with the writing. Due it does smooth out. It just that a in story decision starts making more sense then. A hint is sensational, what is a hit.
The second is. Do not expect all to much. Treat it as a good fanfiction. Nothing bad in the writing or even story. Just that a bit of originality, maybe, is missing. Not correct but good enough.
This novel is really good and exactly what I want. A adventure in our time of someone finding success in the exiting part of society.
5 star full out.
Again try to read to chapter 10 before making a judgment. A single event threw me off and made me critical but I am glad a stuck with it.
A 5 STAR read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. From the very first chapter, Dreams of Stardom pulls you into the world of Troy Armitage a Reincanator with a refreshing twist. Troy Armitage, the protagonist, is unlike any other character you’ve encountered. With slight memories of a past life and the trials of his current one, his journey to superstardom is both riveting and deeply emotional. The story's twists and turns are masterfully done, making it impossible to put down. Whether you're a fan of Hollywood tales, inspiring underdog stories, or just great storytelling.
With only 17 chapters out so far, it’s amazing how deeply this story has resonated with me. It’s clear that this series is going to be something special. I highly recommend this Fic to anyone looking for a captivating and inspiring read. It truly deserves every one of my five stars!
The writing and grammar are okay and the story is passable,
I'm giving this 1 stars because some things about it personally tick me off,
Though I'm not a great fan of the harry potter books as I haven't read them and Even though this is fiction, paying 125k for movie adaptation rights to the 7 books that are worth 200+ million plus seems too much like stealing another's intellectual property and cheating them out of the fruits of their labour using future knowledge.
This immediately makes MC and his family dislikeable to me, especially since I genuinely like J.k Rollins and I don't subscribe to the idea of getting money at all costs or anything goes in the pursuit of money.
Also I don't understand why the author has MC's first few roles be in adult/R rated movies where the MC uses foul language making it seems like MC has no childish innocence.
For some reason this book really offends my sense of mortality which is a bit strange considering the stories I have read on this site.
