When the cultivation game merges with reality, what will happen?
Lin Jichen, a master cultivator, the number one spell cultivator in the world, should have countless followers, commanding the wind and rain, with boundless prospects on the path of immortality.
But betrayed by both his lover and brother, he was deceived into the cave of the BOSS the Illuminating Dragon, ultimately falling prey to the beasts, perishing tragically.
Little did he expect that god would not forsake him, as Lin Jichen is reborn to the day before the game's launch. Given a second chance at life, he decisively abandons spells for the sword, using it to carve out his own destiny and rewrite his fate!
With enough advantage accumulated before the game merges with reality, he rises above all!
Now, all that remains is to wait for everything to materialize!

Basic back in time mmorpg novel with a cultivation theme. NPCs are supposedly real people but act according to game guidelines for some reason.
The cultivation theme is essentially just a reskin of a normal virtual reality game novel. There is no actually cultivation or comprehension just skill books and killing monsters.
However the worst part of the novel is that all male side characters are villains, while female characters are constantly saved by the MC and immediately fall in love with him regardless of their strength. Could have been a decent novel if the author put more nuance rather than man=bad hot woman=good.

It's really annoying when the protagonist is given the background of a reincarnated super expert or a time returner and then seems to forget who he is and make stupid mistakes. Someone with his supposed experience doesn't have the slightest need to be testing defense stats, the effects of some non-special items, and other stupid things like that. He has at least 9 years of experience. Author use your brain or reread your own novel. He also starts toying with his opponents in the name of doing those stupid tests, something that has always been considered common sense in the world of cultivation is that if you are going to kill someone you do it as quickly as possible. If the novel improves later, good luck to those who persist.
