Not the best writing but bad either. While niave and petty protagonists provide a lot of potential choas and shenanigans that allow for humor and plot fuel, it can be hard to read at times. Relatively few grammatical errors and thats nice. But there is some of the seemingly inevitable pronoun confusion.

How is it so damn hard to keep track of typing he for the hims and she for the hers? Its an issue I run into in so many novels and can be confusing when a man and a woman are talking and you typo "she" when he is talking and vice versa. Makes me think the content is AI generated or something.
