The Good:
Watching Broccoli making friends is easily the best thing about this story. I wish I could be as friendly, outgoing, and optimistic as she is towards every person she meets. It's also hilarious watching people's reactions as no one expects the lengths Broccoli goes towards making friends.
The side characters are all pretty fun and many are a treat to get to know and how they come to terms with her shenanigans.
Neutral:
The two friends. I'm putting them here because this is more a matter of my tastes rather than the author's skills. First, I really don't like tsundere and one friend is one. She's actually one of the better tsundere I've seen, and she's tolerable, but there's only so many times I can see them call anyone an idiot before it gets annoying. The other friend is a shy girl with poor self-esteem. She's fairly cute, but sometimes it's almost as if she's not there and only says her trademark verbal tick as a reaction every once in a while. She also seems heavily geared towards catering to a certain fan group I'm not a part of, which makes it harder for me to sympathize with her.
Combat. Combat ranges from fairly creative to mundane. Nothing bad here, but nothing great either.
The Bad:
Pacing. This is the why I'm giving a lower score than I otherwise would. There are several points where I got extremely bored and wished the plot would mercifully get to the next major point in the story. If I liked the two friends more, this wouldn't be as much of an issue, but the parts of the story where it's mostly just the three doing stuff to prepare for their next adventure things get repetitive and predictable. Broccoli says something naïve or silly, tsundere "corrects" her behavior and calls her an idiot, and shy friend says "awa."
If you like the two friends, I think you'll love this story and won't mind the pacing. Sadly, it's just not for me in its current state. Maybe if the author releases an abridged version with better pacing I'll come back and finish, but until then... Thanks for the story, I really liked Broccoli!
