After the Voidfather’s death, the world is in shambles, the strongest beings all dead as Fragments and Husks, creatures let out from tears in reality, roam the land with impunity. Traveling beyond a city’s walls is always a perilous prospect, and few dare venture into the infested ruins of civilizations that died a century ago.

Aurora—an adolescent kitsune—is at last undergoing her attuning, and if she doesn’t die during the process, she’ll gain access to magic! But things go horribly awry during the process, leaving Aurora stranded far from home with an attunement she never asked for in her hands, all but exiled from the place she’d spent her entire life thus far.

Note: This is (the second iteration of) my first attempt at writing a story, and I greatly appreciate any suggestions, feedback, or constructive criticism you might have. I can’t guarantee a consistent upload schedule, and chapters will come when they come, I suppose!
