Synopsis

After years of fighting a terrible disease, Amelia finds herself transported into a mysterious world, right into the quarters of a demon captain! Free from her years of suffering, Amelia decides to face this new reality with optimism and cheerfulness!

Strangely, she seems to have a new body, retaining all the abilities of her game character she spent years levelling in the hospital! However, wasn't that character a demonic combat mage? Who's this pretty blond woman she's become!?

Well, never mind! Better not let the demons know of her titanic combat capabilities, instead maybe her modest healing abilities could be provided as a service? Hang on, I'm not a spy, or an assassin!

    Status: chapter fifty-four: aftermath

Amelia is sad, then amelia wakes up on a floor and decides she wants to have rough lovey dovey baby making time with the demon lady, siad demon lady is scared of the clearly insane person who has appeared on her floor, so she does the the only thing she can think of, asking advice from the talking head on the wall, things eventually escalate resulting in Amelia finally getting to have lovey dovey baby making time with the demon lady.

This is all you need to know, sure amelia is capable of ignoring cannon shells with basic magic and sure she can talk to minor gods as if they are children caught in the cookie jar but in the end it truly a story for amelia to finally get some.

This is all siad in a joking manner please don't hurt me 😢,   all in all this is a wonderful novel and its really funny at times with fleshed out characters and a decent plot, I wish I could find more like this and I can't wait for more of our lovey dovey babymaking duo ❤️

This one of the best stories I've read for quite some time. The character are depth, the world is interesting, and the story is solid. 5 out of 5 would recommend!

This is the highest quality work on the site. With a author that seems to be enjoying writing it. Everything is really, really good.

My favorite factor is that the OP MC actually is OP and doesn't take, you know, 10 chapters in fighting som small time bandits while at the end failing to accomplish anything.

—- now to a critic. It is good. Try it—-

But, and this is weird to say, the high quality is what seems to be carrying much of the story.

By quality I mean grammar, style, characters, world building, chapter length, chapter contents, story potentially and more. Every single thing, excellent.

The problem, or more correctly what one would desire a little more of, is the story. The story just does not deliver the exact flavour that is expected. Which is a hidden powerhouse on a unique ship and following along that ships adventures. All while she has problem adapting and integrating with the crew. Which is comical since she is overpowered.

That is the frame this novel gives but it misses some things. Like the MC adapting and interacting with the crew. Which basically translates to that despite a crew full of people. We only have two characters. The MC and the captain. And one of them has more screen time. Not the MC.

So we start the story good. Funny MC, weird situations, complicated solution, soon the start of many many adventures and character growth. That's Two chapters.

Then the story switches to the Captains pov. And firmly stays there and only there. The only screentime our MC has is in interaction with the captain.

Good story, with The author seeming to really want to showcase the world building. The problem is that the Captain is already established. She has nothing to explore or adapt to. Not anything to give comical or deep interaction with. Everything is tainted with that nothing is new or to be interested of. Which gives that same impression to the novel readers. It would be good if she was a side character, that's exactly what you want from a side character in fact and then to see that characters understanding be broken and twisted by the main character.

To summarize it Basically become a romance novel.

With the potential adventure novel being kicked to the side.

Good novel. 10/10 in all forms.

An adorable steam/magi-punk yuri isekai? Hell yes! I cannot wait to see where this story goes. The worldbuilding is great, even if I wish it weren't a drip feed (I'm a sucker for exposition dumps). The interactions between the leads are great, and it all feels believable.

I will be following this story for the foreseeable future!

    Hits all the right buttons.

Read through this in one sitting, Main protagonist is a delight to read, The story just flows by while you are reading through this. Even if I want to be contrarian I can't with this novel coz that's How refreshing a read this one is.

Having read a good no. Of GL (in one media or other) let me share 'some' of the pros about this novel coz all of them will just not fit here, lol ->

    1. Multiple Pov (s) - by default I add an extra star when an author gives multiple perspectives of the story (when done tastfully of course) to the viewer coz it adds a variation to the writing which gives more breadth to the people in story.
    2. Romance- just the Dynamic of our lead couple is enough to catch any reader like a mice in the cheesetrap, yet that is barely their only engaging/shining moment in the story. The characters are competent, quirky, and have their circumstances that have shaped their worldview and you FEEL that when reading their POVs that are alternatively presented.
    3. Magic- It's not boring when I read characters going in 'depth' about aether/mana according to them, that is a win in my book.

    Cons->

    I CAUGHT UP!!!!

Well, usually when I want to read the theme of "Girls love" I also look for the theme of harem or smut. But wow this series was a complete surprise for me, it is fun to read, the grammar is very good, there is no unnecessary drama. At first I thought the main character was a bit like Pollyanna, but I was wrong. I want to read the rest of the story, thank you author.

Great so far. I love the outside perspective on the MC, you rarely see that in Isekai normally.

Genuinely fantastic reading experience and one of the better for sure on this website.

This story is well edited, very well formatted, easy to read. Sentences flow from one to another and not a word is wasted. The pacing is well set for easy consumption too.

The characters are well defined and unique. The main character is relentlessly and infectiously optimistic. She may be naive but she isn't stupid either. Excellent characterisation!

The Over Powered protagonist trope here is also done with excellence too. The story isn't about her defeating all that stands in her way, it's about far more than that.

This story is well worth your time, and the story respects your time too. Read this, it is one of the greats.

TLDR Fantastic in every way and regardless of what brought you to this review you should just read it to enjoy a wonderful story.  5/5.

This story is the kind of writing that I like most in this world.  The characters are superbly written with a range of thoughts, emotions, motivations, and desires that creates a level of depth that are just not often found in even well known works you may find in local bookstores world wide.

These characters act like real people, in good and bad ways.  If someone is fighting a person or group it is because they used their knowledge and experiences to decode to do so.  These characters have depth of experiences that form them and not just act as good guys because they are knights in shining armor, or act like bad guys because they are whisker twisting bad guys.

Everyone can be smart or dumb on their own merits.  This is the kind of smart writing I absolutely love, and shows just how smartly written this story is. That kind of writing has been rare in all sorts of media for a long time.  Recently it has become so bad that antagonists, or even protagonists in a story may have a character similar to the Terminator from those self named movies.  The Terminator and T-1000 in those movies was nat a character as we know them.  It was instead a force of death and destruction where you were in arms reach you would be dead.

All of that makes the nature of a character important.  A character has to have a reason to be somewhere, it is never just a convenient place someone could be, except for Amelia's initial appearance but as things progress you are being presented with evidence that even that was not just the power of the plot in action.  Everything matters for all these people.  Their history, education, bravery, cowardice, all of it.

Amelia is absolutely a wonderful kind of girl people would be drawn to, both romantically and otherwise. Her relationship with Serena is as believable as it is endearing, as well as handling the reactions of people that may have problems with it so well it could be held up as an example of how to realistically and reasonably as possible with falling for a narrative that would ruin the realistic depiction here.

This author should be proud of these people they have let us let us view from the screens of our various devices.

Now on to the other important issue of this story.  The setting....

I love this setting so damn much.  Steam/Magitech airship roughly equivalent to late 1800's ships that have all the personality that entails, yet having gliders/drop pods, small attack boats seige guns on fortresses, flak cannon, sails to save on fuel, even a layer of the sky that you can submerge into as well as a portion that is certain death.

The world is floating islands with its own type of environment and even it's own unique heavenly bodies moving across the sky, there are cultural influences from several peoples of our world like East Asian, Scandinavian, old Roman catholic, and I feel many more waiting to be explored.

This review has gone for so long so I will end it here but if you read to here know this is absolutely something you should read.  5 out of 5
