A.N - Please read this:
- The characters In the story will be a bit older than in canon. They will start at fifteen after graduating from the academy and will be around eighteen after the Shippuden time skip.
- There will be Harem. I'm not sure how big yet, but probably not very big.
- There will be a lot of violence and blood, so be warned.
- There will be some occasional smut scene later on in the story.
- During the beginning, the story is going to follow canon events quite closely, but this will change more and more as the story progresses and Naruto's actions and decisions start to have consequences.
The upload rate is currently at 6 chapters per week, I may increase it in the future if I have more time. I do not have specific days or times for the uploads because my full-time job has an erratic schedule so I upload whenever I have the time. But you can expect 6 new chapters by the end of the week. Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope my readers understand.
Read this all the way through. It stays close to canon initially but when the ripples really start they don’t stop. A fun read with an enjoyable cast of characters.

It’s nearly the same as cannon. Very little cultivation in the story. Nothing besides a slightly different Naruto. Most chapters make you feel like you watched an episode from the show again. Disappointed at the missed poten

I have read up to chapter 16, up to that I can't say much about the story, it deals with the basic element of many stories of the xianxia genre with reincarnation and an artifact that opens the way to greatness to the owner. These are the elements that I see and if it is true that they are often used for stories that have a fair amount of success they are also elements that can clash in certain situations: the Naruto series started precisely from the desire of the protagonist to be accepted and this guided his behavior and his relationships with the other characters, by removing it you have to rewrite the map of the interactions of all the characters and even certain characters will have a different progression.
In these first chapters we already see a divergence: Sakura, even if she never responded positively to Naruto's compliments, drew comfort and security from them to be accepted, a comparison could be made with Hermione in Harry Potter, who given her insecurity about setting foot in the world of magic despite being born in the world of mortals, seeks shelter and security in books, good grades and confirmation from teachers to the detriment of her social part with her peers. I'm not saying that it's a negative thing, I'm saying that the characters and the story cannot be isolated from similar changes and that such changes can help the story to have body and develop new models of interactions between the various characters.I hope that the story can go on and get to the ending, whatever it is and that it can captivate readers. Good luck.P.S. English is not my first language, so some concepts or topics may seem a little abstruse, sorry.

Pros- well-written. Good characterization.
Cons- this is a beat by beat canon Naruto story with minor Cultivation additions. I wasted my time reading 137 chapters for 1 effective difference from canon Naruto. That's... not great. Maybe there are more changes coming, but it's just not worth my time to bother re-reading Naruto. Good luck to the author, you write well. But there just is almost zero creativity or imagination added. Your cultivator character barely does anything different from canon, why should someone bother reading?

I love this story, I know some people have complained about the earlier chapters being to close to cannon. But as it goes along there are more and more changes, and the cultivation aspects become more prevalent.

This is fantastic. I just found it today and binged the whole thing. I really like this take. There are lots of fanfics that poke at the plot holes in Naruto but this one is not heavy handed about it like many do. I appreciate the restraint.
I'm really enjoying seeing a competent Naruto. His f**ked up upbringing really neutered his progress at first. He's the son of the fourth and Kushina, he has no lack of genetics to excel, it was entirely his (lack of) nurturing that had him running wild and failing.
Seeing him getting out of his own way is cathartic and having all of the xianxia knowledge to draw on just makes it better.
The cultivator haz zero rizz but it's still an improvement over Naruto's negative rizz. He's also not dense or mentally a virgin so he at least sees the blatant signs with Hinata. The dense harem protagonist vibe that I passionately hate are absent. He gets what is going on even if he's a bit indifferent.
The only thing that I would like to see is more remnants of Naruto's personality shining through. His character is a lot of what makes the story great, shame to lose all of it. More of a fusion of cultivator/Naruto than a hollowed out possessed shell.
At the time of this review the canon is just starting to go off the rails. The natural results of the events before the story and the personalities of the characters kept it on canon this far but cracks are showing and it feels like it will snowball.
People complaining about it being too close to canon are people that had to wait. When binged it's much less of an issue.

Cultivator reincarnates into Naruto's body changing his personality for the better.
The author addresses the main point of contention I have with this novel which is the fact its too canon faithful which ultimately makes it boring. From the glimpses from what I have seen so far I do believe that there is potential in this novel but I haven't seen it yet so 3 stars for being average. I will keep reading but it will be on the wait and binge list until the chapters become more interesting.

I dont know why but I really like novels like this and there is some moments that I really like about story author tells. So if you want some easy to read naruto power fantasy, here it is.
Edit: I checked other comments and I dont agree with being so much cannon. Even in early chapters there is difference in many things. Ofcourse there will be similarities, did naruto himself choose everything happened to him? No. He just react events around him in his way and this MC is reacting in his way. Its silly to expect some huge changes from start its fanfic afterall. But after some time as a consequence of MCs actions and decisions its pretty much diverges from cannon and I really curious about how will author handle upcoming events. If you love cannon naruto storyline and wonder what if naruto thinks more like a cultivator I think you will like this novel.
