Demon Lord of Gluttony
Affiliation: Deutsche Imperial Army
Aliases: Reichel Schwertspinne, Specimen R, Boss, Schwarzer Engel
Adept in all forms of warfare and combat and quick to adapt to any foreign situations, she is always quick on her feet to crush her enemy and gets the hang of everything within seconds of practicing.
She is proficient at any weapon, bordering on mastery, and she is well versed in any sort of intellectual and technical subject from her traumatic experiences back on Earth.
Even though Reichel is classified as one of the Forsaken, she is able to execute specific magical techniques through the use of Aether and other tools at the ready.
Although she prefers to see herself as rational, she suffers from emotional outbursts in fits of rage due to the toll of mental corruption that is slowly corroding her mental capacity while she shares a body with the Essence of Gluttony.
Likes human flesh, but also prefers strawberry flavoured things and alcohol if possible.

There are many things unknown about Aria due to the lack of coverage the novel has at the moment, but there are a few facts that can be obviously surmised from the information currently available in the novel.
Aria was described as a white haired adolescent boy in the prologue, however as of Interlude 1 he seems to be a female from the avid descriptions of the author. (Thus the genderbend tag)
Thus, for simplicity we will be using the pronoun 'she' when referring to events and time periods in Hyurasia and 'he' for events and time periods that took place on Earth.
She has multiple one-hit kill techniques, and has quite a loose firing trigger, as observed when she used one of the one-hit kill techniques in her disposal to decapitate her friend, Zed.
She is adept in sensing presences, and is described as having 'foresight so unrivalled that it's like she could see the future' even back on Earth.
She suffers a severe lack of motivation in doing work when it doesn't have anything to do with her friend/lover/rival/whatever her relationship is with, Rei.
She obsesses for Rei to the point where she can barely control herself when her name is mentioned.
And for Rei herself, it seems like Rei looks up to Aria as some sort of friend and rival, but mostly engaging in a relationship closer to rival than to actual love in her perspective as she grew up 'chasing the back' of Aria.
Likes Rei above all else, though secondly comes her newly attained hobby of making Rei-themed merchandise and cookies-and-cream themed snacks.

There are many unknowns about Zed since the only real mention of him as of yet is the short cameo from Interlude 1, but there are a few facts that the current information can see.
As one of Rei's thought to be dead close friends, Zed's relationship to Rei is to be estimated to be at least that of close friends.
Described as a young man with pale skin, purple eyes and hair, he is no short of an ikemen.
His ability is unknown, but from being decapitated by Aria at Interlude 1, and then just allowing Aria to shrug off the incident after the incident, it is suspected for Zed's ability to relate to something to that of regeneration.
His level of libido is unknown, but it is confirmed to be at least working in Interlude 1.
Likes pretty girls and chocolate, shares a crippling addiction to beer with Rei.

Other than the fact that Fel is one of the three people that Reichel cared about deeply on her life on Earth, there is no available information of Fel whatsoever currently.

I enjoy stories with a cold protagonist
I also suck at writing reviews

Unsightly Gluttony is an interesting story. The characters are well written and have a solid feel to them. Especially the main character.
The story itself has a good pace to it and potential to be something greater. I believe the novel to be more character driven so there isn't much to cover here other then it's paced well enough to suit the characters growth.
The characters are done well, while some aren't as notable as the main character, they still hold a place in the story. They have goals and their own drives.
In conclusion, good novel. Read it if you like Youjo senki, it's similar to it as the review made by Oneeye said
(I'll probably add more to this review when I've read more chapters btw (emphasis on probably))
